Many of the books recommended here are older. When men still acted like men and not children. Same with the advice given here. It only works when you are partnered with a man who behaves like a man and equally wants a successful relationship

I’m totally with you, but in the same way I feel like fast marriages are romanticized without vetting, and the same way long marriages are romanticized with two people who clearly hate each other.

That’s probably a more eloquent way to say it. I mourn the life I wanted often. I pray for my ex husband to get better every day, for our children. My daily life is so much easier in almost every aspect because I am free from the daily mental abuse. I was so worried that Christmas would be sad, but it was the happiest my children and I have ever had because we didn’t need to cater to the moods of alcoholism.

Divorce is hard. Being divorced is not. I’ve been divorced for about 6 weeks and formally separated from my ex spouse for over 9 months. While sex was not the trigger in our marriage, alcoholism was; no amount of providing and meeting criteria on a red pilled checklist could compensate for the emotional toll that the negative aspects had on our marriage and family. I too live far from family and had placed my whole identity in being a wife and mother. I can finally breathe again. My advice is to…

You need to reduce your commitments. 2 different co-ops is, at a minimum, 1 too many. Homeschooling before the age of compulsory school attendance is just parenting. You’ll be more content with less obligations.

My sister told her boyfriend he needed to ask my permission. I said no when he asked. He was lying to his parents about living with my sister. I said I didn’t feel comfortable giving my blessing while they were starting their relationship on a lie. It was a heated discussion, but everyone respected my guidance. 6 months later he had come clean, I gave my blessing and they were engaged. If OP respected the option of her father and the father had responded in good faith with a specific reason why …

You’re going to need to learn how you best embrace your new role as a homemaker. It could mean a daily schedule, a new hobby or even just a simple daily checklist. What do you envision your life looking like?

The benefits outweigh your apathy. I can show you a bunch of oil field workers who desperately need some exercise. Point being, in most cases, work isn’t enough to meet the level of cardiovascular exercise your body needs. But ya know. Keep making excuses.

Your boyfriend’s comments aside. Let’s talk about your health and fitness. Exercise is an essential component to self care. Period. At this point, your lack of self care is having a significant impact on your health as evidenced by your inability to keep up. If you didn’t like your previous gym routine then by all means find something different. I HATE the machines at my gym. I never touch the strength training machines or the weight rack. I LOVE BodyPump classes. I love playing tennis. I really…

“He would act controlling and jealous” That’s your red flag right there. Stop trying to rationalize any of his other behavior. Good men are never controlling or jealous. Block him everywhere and move on.

First, I had that same trifecta and experienced the same struggles in my marriage. Counseling helped for me to heal from my trauma, and reduce my anxiety, but really fixing my codependency and my relationship- counseling was counterproductive. I’m not saying that for everyone it’s that way, but for me and many people I know it was. The feminists are too far entrenched in modern counseling to really help relationships. Second, Laura Doyle says to state EXACTLY what you want. Saying “I want to be …

The person who says no to kids wins. There is no compromise. Even if you “convince” him. At this point, you cannot have children with this man. Do you want to continue being married if that means never having the family you want?

My husband is a high income earner. I didn’t, but I have many friends that come from generational wealth. I would never give someone I’ve never met Tiffany. My friends that I’ve spoken of, know better than to give that ostentatious of a gift to their boyfriends mother in a lower socioeconomic status. In fact, I’m starting to think you’re a troll.

Texting is for logistics. Dates are for getting to know one another. Get that squared away first and other things will fall in to place. As for this guy; delete, block and forget. At this point commitment isn’t in the cards.

I recently listened to a podcast regarding productivity. The speaker talked on how our brain capacity has not expanded in the last few decades, yet we are taking in exponentially more information. He went on to say our brains can actively process 4 things at a time, but if we are talking to someone - that takes up half. All this other information we are taking in, our brains are trying to “remember”. And each time we tell ourselves about a task our brain is trying to remember that too. Each time…

Work with a therapist to cure your anxiety (this is possible). Your clingy/codependency isn’t healthy for a relationship. Security does not come from a man. You have to be a whole person before you can be a good partner.

Those are both really big asks. And calling him “dad” because he rejected a conversation about porn? Yikes! If you want more excitement. Try starting WAY more PG, and then building up to a level you are excited about. It seems like you’ve upped your expectations and are disappointed he didn’t take the leap with you. Anger is a secondary emotion. If a man has a label as an “angry man”, he’s not a healthy partner. We should seek to understand all people when they are angry because it’s an indicator of an unmet need, but it is not our job as women to heal men. That has to come from within themselves.

Hi there! I too have a very big personality. One of my flaws also is that when I think I’m right about something, I dig in and won’t just “agree to disagree”. My ability to be soft at home is directly tied to the amount of self care. Getting myself ready, exercising, reading for relaxation, and getting my chores done so there’s less on my plate. I blog and keep a red pilled Instagram account to help others as much to help keep myself on track.

One thing that really helped me was picking a seasonal color palate to build my wardrobe from. I have seasonal wardrobes based around those color palates. Think solid color dresses, printed tops and cardigans and solid pants. Another element that makes any outfit more feminine is heels. As a mom, a lot of my heels have a platform at the toe and a slight heel or wedge. CL by Chinese Laundry is their “comfort” heel line.

Even as a red pilled wife, it is my understanding that it isn’t your job to make your husband happy. That’s an element that’s out of your control. Your job is to show up as high value, and be loving and accepting of who he is. These thoughts he’s having, and this particular interest are his to process on his own. Lean back and just be your feminine self.

You’ve gotten a lot of great responses here. My husband really likes thefamilyalpha.com for guidance on parenting - especially raising boys. To me, it sounds a bit harsh. Not showing any physical affection at all can be harmful. But what about playfulness? Does your husband tickle or rough House with him? That’s a very masculine way for men to bond with their children.

I’m not dependent upon my husband for adult conversation. I stay pretty active on social media and my IRL hobbies that I don’t feel the need to be super chatty at night. Plus, I have 4 kids - I enjoy the silence some nights. With that being said, this isn’t an all the time thing. It’s for a season of stressful periods. My friend’s husband is an accountant. January - April her husband is basically nonexistent, but otherwise is super engaged. It’s all about being understanding of your mate’s needs…

STFU is the biggest thing. I give my husband lots and lots of space when he’s stressed from work. At the same time, I am quick to drop everything if he wants to spend time together. Also, I write him notes affirming his masculine qualities and my appreciation for his work outside the home. I stick them on his mirror, in his drawer, work bag etc. I stay on my A game when it comes to keeping the house in shape. MRP doesn’t teach or advocate for belittling your spouse or treating her like cattle. Neither does TRP to my knowledge, but I don’t read there. RP philosophy does teach that each person in the relationship needs to display high value. Exercise and healthy eating are important to health and longevity. Contributing to your household (housework and income) is essential for harmony. Sex is essential in any marriage to bond together. Balancing your partner (masculine and feminine) is essential. Unlik…

My Captain took me to a sports bar on our second date to watch a game. I had told him I loved football and he challenged me to “prove it”. And boy did I ;) When vetting the commitment level and end goals of a man it’s important to evaluate your long term compatibility. If you tend to be more of a homebody and prefer intimate gatherings at home to a lively social scene, then that’s fine. But if you and your mate prefer to be in exciting environments, then dates to a bar are perfectly acceptable. …

I’m not telling you to get a divorce, but in Fascinating Womanhood she advises a woman to kick her husband out if he doesn’t have a job. You need to do something drastic to inspire him to provide and lead. Every day that he cooks, cleans and fetches tea for you is another drop in his masculinity. But do not have another passive conversation with him where he gets off by saying “don’t worry...one day”. Be feminine. Be firm.

Target has amazing jewelry. I recommend going in and browsing a few times to find out what you’re attracted too. For earrings, the style depends on how I wear my hair. If it’s down I wear studs. Up, I’ll do something with a bit of a dangle. For necklaces: if my chest is bare I do something delicate, but if my top covers my neckline I go for more of a statement necklace. I’m not really a bracelet girl and I only wear my wedding ring.

Cooking and baking is my go to way to spoil my husband. When we were dating I would pick him up candies from the store, bring in his mail for him, or take home cooked meals to him at work.

In my experience RPW need to be the opposite of insecure at all times. We assert our opinions when asked and then leave it be and be secure in our relationship to let our husband make the final decision. I think being insecure is actually one of the biggest red pill myths from the outside looking in. But to speak to your middle paragraph. Sister, I have been there. You really need to heal this area to be able to not only be a good wife, but just to be content with yourself. I really recommend yo…

Start small and slow. As far as teaching I use the gradual release model. Watch me With me I watch you Then finally the check (they do it independently then you check to make sure it’s done. Once you’ve made it through those steps, inspect what you expect. If they aren’t doing their job then go backwards through the teaching steps

STFU is deeper than just not saying anything. Sure you can literally keep your mouth shut and stew on it in your mind and just become resentful and bitter. To truly STFU you change your mindset. Whatever it is that just annoyed you or ticked you off doesn’t matter. Don’t say anything and let it go. Ways that I’m training myself to do this: -name something i appreciate about my spouse. Sure it’s annoying that he didn’t put his dishes in the sink, but jeez I sure appreciate that he worked hard tod…

Yesterday someone posted a recommendation to check out the Kibbe Body Type style assessment. It’s my new obsession. The suggestions it made on how to dress my body type were spot on with the articles of clothing I own that make me feel my best. I define my style (or ideal style) as classy, sexy, feminine. I look best in jewel tones paired with neutrals. And because I’m from Texas I like a little something extra. Big hair/sparkly jewelry. Just to keep it fun.

There are levels to everything, obviously. You can be provocative in jeans and a nice shirt and provocative in sweats and a tank top. A good example of this is the Kardashian/Jenner sisters. You can be sexy and sophisticated as well. The aforementioned example of the Trump Women is a good example here. I don’t think OP was referencing hyper-modesty (fundamentalist Mormon for example) when she referenced conservative dress, but looking frumpy is quite easy when dressing conservatively.

Married 9 years. I think it’s important to dress appropriately for the occasion. If you’re in church covered obviously. “Provocative” is silly. Don’t dress like a sex worker, dress like a woman. Flaunt your curves and assets. I think this can be done tastefully or tacky, it’s all in the presentation. If you’re more modest and prefer to be more covered/conservative then you’re going to have to work harder at looking feminine and not boxy and frumpy.

I read recently a research study that said men who have a gaming addiction do so as a result as being unhappy in other areas of their life. Along the lines of “you can’t change anyone but yourself”, would you consider forgoing watching TV shows to simply be present with your boyfriend. If he doesn’t want to watch TV with you, why don’t you just sit beside him while he’s gaming. Your presence will mean so much to him. Also, intercourse is not the only way to engage in sexual relations. I’m pretty…

This is a huge issue for me. Someone recently directed me to look at what apps were using the most battery on my phone. When I saw how much time I was spending on Facebook (enough to be a part time job) I was so ashamed. I don’t think I will ever remove social media from my life, but I have set limits regarding my usage and times I’m on my phone. Like you, I don’t want to be remembered by my children as having my face in my phone.

I come here for information and accountability. Although I’ve always had/wanted a “traditional” marriage, my husband and I both are very new to TRP philosophy. Honestly, I’ve had a hard time finding resources on female “frame”. I recognize that mindset is such a powerful force. There are a million and one blogs/websites on homemaking and outer beauty, but it’s a info dessert when looking for articles on not being a codependent clinger. My favorite place to get gifts for people I don’t know well is Cost Plus World Market (Official name, I just call it World Market). They have great unique items. If you want to go the edibles route, huge selection of global candies, spices, and treats. For my husband’s birthday I got him a variety of unique steak seasonings. They also have jewelry at a great price and candles as well. Don’t worry about spending too much/too little; think of it as a hostess gift. But DO make sure it’s beautifully…

It isn’t fraud to sign your spouses checks in most cases. Especially since you are depositing them to a joint account. So that one is a non issue. Secondly, he’s delegated a task to you. That’s leadership. It is now your responsibility to complete the task. That’s submission. Do you feel as if you shouldn’t handle any finances? Do you spend the money? Third, by NOT depositing the check and leaving it laying around you are being passive aggressive and allowing discontentment to brew inside your h…

A RPWoman is very independent, strong and ambitious. But it just looks different from what feminist have told you it’s supposed to look like. I’m a homemaker. You CANNOT be lazy (laid back) and unmotivated to be successful at creating a peaceful, loving home. You must be efficient, task oriented, and self motivated. It’s baffling to me that you think you can insult your husband and somehow he is the one in the wrong in your mind. Not only did you insult him by saying he couldn’t provide for your wants financially, you then said he couldn’t provide for your wants with his skills. Then you continued on and on. I agree with pp; you need to read For Women Only tonight. Then go bake him a pie. And say nothing negative to him at all going forward.

Find a diet that you can stick to. For me it was the Ketogenic diet. I needed to be able to eat cheese. I’m 20 lbs smaller than I was on my wedding day, my skin is clear, and my stomach is flat. In regards to social media, why don’t you take action instead of expecting that from him. Take a selfie, post it on social media, label him your boyfriend and tag him in the post. It’s not passive aggressive, it’s taking action. If you are have had the exclusivity y’all, the label doesn’t matter.

First comment here... I have used the FlyLady system off and on for about 7 years. About 6 months ago I downloaded the app. There's a checklist of her routines (morning, afternoon, before bed and weekly cleaning). I swear by it now. It keeps the clutter part of my house under control and makes my life so much easier. This is especially true in the mornings when my brain isn't quite working and I just look at my phone for the next step to stay on track.
