Hey! I actually have a fairly popular instagram account due to my style. So I like to think I have a good consistent wardrobe and aesthetic going. I'd say is minimal feminine cozy. :) I want to feel comfortable but at the same time I want to feel like I'm like some jaw-dropping lady. Cozy but energized is the mood I try and get.

I only wear real gold jewellery, I have a necklace from my dad, a ring from my mom and a few other bits but I just rotate them. My boyfriend follows a pinterest board I made with all the kinds of jewellery I like. I never go out and buy my own anymore, so I just let him choose. However, my other accessories are a light scarf, a couple of nice watches and belts. Pins can also add some pop to a quieter outfit.

My wardrobes colour pallet:

Fairly muted tones, nothing too bright/colourful. Neutrals, Black, White, Grey, Greens, Blue, Mustard Yellow, the odd purple.

I think having a good colour pallet can really pull your closet together. I started with just white/black/grey/denim. Then added in a couple colours as my wardrobe grew. Helps make it so things work together better.

I like to wear things that flatter my shape and balance the outfit. Finding the right fit of jeans is vital, figuring out if mid or highwaisted skirts look better. A lot of trial and error.

I consider my wardrobe somewhat like a capsule wardrobe, except it's not "I have 5 tops and 5 pants that all work together". So just finding your items slowly over time and with great care in choosing the fit and quaility.

Consider your envionrment. For example, I love cute summer tops, but living in Northern Canada, summer is short lived. So I've started investing my focus on my fall/winter wardrobe because that's what majority of my year is wear. Do you work or are yu stay at home? That can change up the wardrobe a lot too. Do you have kids? That may change what types of fabrics work best for you.

Ask your captain! He knows what he likes and doesn't like on you. It's a very important and objective opinion to consider.

Shoes! Shoes are also game changers. I could go from work day to holiday party with my LBD just based on the shoes I choose. The leopard pumps will make the outfit much more of a statement than the dark blue flats for example.

At home, I wear my "cozies" just leggings and tshirts.

Yesterday someone posted a recommendation to check out the Kibbe Body Type style assessment. It’s my new obsession. The suggestions it made on how to dress my body type were spot on with the articles of clothing I own that make me feel my best.

I define my style (or ideal style) as classy, sexy, feminine. I look best in jewel tones paired with neutrals. And because I’m from Texas I like a little something extra. Big hair/sparkly jewelry. Just to keep it fun.

I did a lot of experimenting with my style, and it turns out that a good pair of jeans, good platforms and a tight shirt or blouse of right color look the best on me. It's similar with makeup. I love doing makeup but a little BB cream, some blush, mascara and neutral lipstick is what seems to work the best.

I like to wear dresses and skirts, in fact, I just throw pants away during the summer.

My Pinterest Board!. I like fun, sexy looks - lots of orange, Gucci, Reformation, animal prints, gold chains, and things that tie. My style icon is Fran Drescher in The Nanny.

I don't dress like this all the time. I typically temper my bright, sassy pieces, with jeans or toned down sweaters. I like to look sharp, put-together, fun, mature, and successful.

I would probably dress a little bit less sexy/revealing if I was single, but my husband likes me to look hot and is a bit of a clotheshorse himself.

My style is a weird mix of mori kei, pin-up/retro and funky thrifted pieces. I only secondhand shop. I love plaids, velvet, leather, lace... all kinds of fabrics that pop. I love skater dresses and skirts, I have a small waist and very wide hips and big thighs so anything that accentuates that positively. I live in Florida, so it's a bit hard to layer and I wish I could wear cute Winter outfits!

My style is definitely evolving. I think it often ages people when they choose a style in their teens or twenties and then stick with it forever.

I shop based on color, fit, and feel. First clothing has to pass my color test, not just that it's a color I like it actually has to be one of the colors that looks best with my skin (soft summer). If it doesn't pass the soft summer test I don't try it on. Then it has to make my body look good (which includes being the right size, without alterations needed), if that's a fail it's gone. If it passes those two tests then I think about the design/vibe, and if I don't have any strong misgivings (i.e. this looks way too young/cheap/whatever) then I buy it.

I've been doing this for several months now and I can honestly say I have the best wardrobe I've ever had. Everything is complimentary in color, I look good in everything I own, and the style just looks cohesive in a way I've never been able to achieve with other methods. My style definitely has a different feel to it now, but I really like it and DH has been layering on extra compliments about my dress.

I think my current style is kind of classic sexy with a bit of an edge, think Mila Kunis/Megan Fox.

As someone else mentioned I also was pointed to the Kibbe test because I want to change. My result was Romantic/Natural Romantic. (Which makes me smile because I’m guilty of reading historical romances lol)

Currently in my closet is mostly dresses and skirts. Some casual things but they’re all in colors I hate and want to change that. I’m leaning more towards light/soft shades. Definitely more into makeup than I was before.

I would say my style goal/board is this - Style Board

And I used to dress like this often but when I switch places of employment to a more lax environment my clothing took a hit which I didn’t like! So now I’m getting back into the swing of things.

My style is variety :) One of the things I'm most proud of in my life is the variety of styles that can come out of my wardrobe! I rotate between sporty, OL, romantic goth, retro depending on the occasion and my mood.

How I built my wardrobe: by mainly going shopping for clothes that are bargains, on sale, or cheap.

By doing so, I go out of my "style" comfort zone and force myself to exercise creativity in outfit-matching and making them work! I see it as taking fashion risks - sometimes they pay off in a polished, exciting look, sometimes I just end up looking like a fashion disaster.

The thing is, the more I practice at taking fashion risks, the better I get at them! And even when I end up looking like a fashion wreck, it still counts as variety.

And because most of my clothes are from the discount rack, my fashion risks don't really cost too much financially - I just need the guts and confidence to pull them off :)

Basically what I'm trying to convey with my style: I love fashion and clothes, but I am not too serious about it - I am just trying to experiment and be creative and have fun too.

I have been told that I'm a walking fashion show! Which I consider a compliment :D

I always dressed for business. In recent years, my suits, shirts and ties have gotten sharper. I get more compliments from men and women and the main thing is - I close more deals and have better business relationships since making this change.

How you dress matters. Dress classy and you'll be seen as classy, dress like a sexual object and you'll be seen as such, dress casual and you will be treated accordingly. Of course, your mode of speech and demeanor need to match.

I am actually obsessed with the super feminine but understated style of French women, particularly Parisian. It's silly and probably immature of me but I just love how effortless the look is and I love the concept of having a wardrobe that flows all together. It would be so simple, mix and matching.

Nothing is perfect, the flaws are turned into assets! The far West style of black and white perfection is sort of like a sickeningly sweet syrup to me, I want some savory on my plate too. Minimal make up, they focus on what they actually look like rather than smooth over with layers.

All around I'm slowly incorporating French lifestyle into my life. I'm walking to the grocery store and slowly changing my diet to focus on the pleasure of the flavor rather than the quantity of food. I'm also saving slowly for a new wardrobe, I'm pathetically cheap and still have clothes from middle school!

I just want to convey an air of effortlessly feminine, even though it's obviously lots of work presentation and personality wise.

I love black. I try to broaden to colors but it's so hard for me. Good news is my bf is a fan of the look. I also wear skirts and dresses a lot. When I branch out I prefer earth tones. I will do a color splash but I just want my personality to show through what I wear.

I've come up with a name for my style recently: "vintage soft prep".

It took me a while to get here, but I like the structured, classic preppy look, with plaid, blazers, sweaters and all that, and I also like the feminine side of it, but I have always preferred a somber, discreet type of vibe to my femininity in my day to day looks. I like my looks to show some type of inspiration of the 40s-50s while still looking modern. I tend to like muted tones like soft blues, dusty rose, or maroon. Pastel colors wash me out. I actually am still in the process of building up a wardrobe (I lost weight), but i do seek to use pieces that will be versatile. So far I have a few pieces that I really like, so that's good. I like wearing my hair down and voluminously curled, and I like a really simple makeup look. I'm also looking into getting a few berets and pretty hair accessories.

I'm not going to lie to you all- I am 100% an advocate for the "athleisure" trend. If I could run across a romantic beach and into the loving arms (legs!) of leggings, I would.

That being said, my go-to outfit for dates/public outtings is usually a nice pair of jeans and a top that's form-fitted and neutral-colored. (Think gray, black, tan, etc.) Boots or ballet flats are my favorite shoes to wear out. I top it off with a dainty necklace. I kind of like going for a down-to-earth look, I guess.

black modal leggings, form fitting white tee shirts, gold jewelery. I also wear jeans, and black cropped boleros or structured coats, sometimes a tunic style sweater over the white tee. A big black parka in winter over all the above.

I like a lot of dresses, trench coats, long boots or a nice pair of heels and a good handbag. I don't like showing my arms (I have scarring) so it's also easy for me to just wear a cute turtleneck, a skirt and a coat on top.

I also feel like a style chameleon. But one thing that has always stayed the same is my love for wearing my hair long and stick-straight. Even though that's not the popular style anymore I still love it and so does my husband.

I also tend to wear a lot of red, purple, black, and white. Most other colors make me look sallow. I used to hate wearing dresses and skirts but I'm coming around - especially in the heat of Texas summer, they can be so much more comfortable. I like tight jeans and basic crew neck fitted tees. I am also not "over" basic hoop earrings and I wear a lot of gold even though I prefer silver because gold pairs with my coloring much better.

The older I get, the better I get at realizing what looks good on me, not just what I think is cute on the rack, or what I saw in a magazine and thought looked good on an actress or something. Most guys don't give a shit about trends or brands, and if you have a nice body to begin with and play to your strengths, it's a win.
