Trust me, it's not because of overconfidence. You started out by thinking you needed to hit the gym to get a better physique but then you don't act accordingly to your plan. When our cognition (decision to gym) don't match our behavior (hitting the gym), we experience a cognitive dissonance (mental discomfort). In effort to reduce that, you align your cognition with your behavior and start believing that you don't have to hit the gym (thinking you're good enough). I'm heading to bed but I'll wri…

She has negative expectations for the relationship (can be unconscious) and she's emotionally preparing herself for the potential end of it.

One thing you did not mention about your diet; what's your macro ratio? Specifically, how many percent of your daily calories come from fat? The healthy range would be at least 20-30% because fat is essential for hormone production. Furthermore, I suppose it's been said countless times already but high stress is harmful to our testosterone levels. Our body produces higher amount of the cortisol which lower our testosterone levels. It gets worse with chronic stress when the stressors remain for a…

Then your anxiety about other's opinion makes sense because like you said it influences your future prospect. You're simply intelligent enough to recognize what's important. So I'd say work on your social skill to make people associate a positive emotion with you. There are many ways to make a person to like you; the best being perceived similarities. If we think a person and ourselves are alike, we're more likely to like them because in turn it fuels our self-esteem by thinking that we're a lik…

Your frame is how you perceive the world; having a strong frame means you're absolutely confident in your views which can be achieved with the backing of solid logical facts and evidence. If you have a strong frame over a person, anything you say will most likely be accepted by the person with less resistance.

Yes and no, there are certain attributes that are objective; face symmetry, clear skin, average faces and many more because it indicates a higher probability of the person being disease free. So people who preferred the above qualities we're more likely to procreate successfully and pass down their genes and preference. However, there can also be qualities that are unique to certain cultures and due to a specific individual's upbringing.

You're overestimating the degree of impact other people's opinion has on your future. It's a natural evolutionary trait to worry about others opinion; especially in the olden days, our ancestors who were prosocial and stuck in groups were more likely to survive and reproduce. Thus it's most likely to be passed on genetically and culturally. If you're looking for a solution, quit the benzos and get yourself busy with learning a new skill or working on a project. Simply put, direct your energy to …

Work on yourself being a person of value and people will be attracted to you. People like being seen and associated with high value people because that raises their own value as well. Furthermore, social skills don't matter as much after a certain point as much as similarities and proximity. Unless you're trying to gain power in social group, social skills will matter more and your personal value will matter too to command respect from respected people.

I had the same problem when I was younger, I could get hard anytime but not when I needed to perform. What solved it for me was getting more experience which removed the magic curtain of the act of sex; made me realize that it was a natural process and life doesn't change much after that. It gave me much less pressure to perform and make sure everything goes perfectly. Nothing has to go perfectly because real life is not a porn movie.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
