Or by accident. I was with a LVM who refused to use protection and I let it happen. Now I'm almost 7 months pregnant but moved on. Growing up it was always "get married and have kids in your early twenties". I'm glad so many women are realizing this isnt what our mindset should be, but rather a way to keep old traditions from oppression times alive.

Everyone wants a long marriage, not a healthy one. Theres a reason marriage rates went down and divorce rates went up when women were fighting more for our rights. Theres a reason why so many women are focused more on themselves and education rather than getting married and having kids. Sociologists agree that most people marry (at least in the U.S) due to societal pressure and tradition. I wish everyone could realize that being happy and loved (whether by yourself or with a partner) isnt shown …

I think of those still as red flags, but just the tiny lawn ones. They sure do add up

My ex of 2 years did this. Anytime a new movie would come out, we would talk about wanting to see it. I would suggest times we could go, even plans for dinner then movies or another date idea. He would put it off, then go see it with his friends. Happened four times 🙄 sad thing is back then I would always pay for our dates, so I guess it just saved me money

Sadly this incel is a reoccurring troll on that subreddit. Always posts about his racist and pedophilic fetishes

Sorry women arent meant to be your personal incubator. Pregnant or not, wanting to have kids or not, it doesnt define her as a person. She is her own being and it shouldnt matter whether the man wants kids or not, dont force it upon women

I sadly dont have the funds to live a lavish life (currently 18) but after dealing with a LVM for two years it's helped me know that even smaller things count. Clean up after yourself, make your living space look nice and not like a frat house, take me out to eat and on dates no matter how long we've been together. Basically, dont get comfortable. Men tend to put effort into their looks and their homes, shower you with gifts, take you out on dates just to get with you, but after a while they jus…

I'm in my second trimester and let me just say that almost nothing is comfortable to wear. Even maternity stuff isnt as comfortable as an oversized shirt and shorts. Maybe he should try carrying a baby for 9 months and see how he likes it

Oh god, my 2 year relationship was formed on this. Definitely not a good idea unless you want to be mistreated and have your time wasted

My dad straight up told me if a man ever treats me how he treats women, I need to get away. Theyll acknowledge their behavior, but only when it's to keep their own daughter from getting hurt.

But how does this affect her parenting? She did it in the past before she had kids, moved on and made a life for herself. This man is just digging up the past. I'm sure hes done way worse

My ex (and baby's father sadly) was still texting other girls and his ex's form the beginning to the end of our 2 year relationship. Trust your gut, it's trying to tell you something

Is the subreddit for pregnant women too? Just curious. I am having a child with a LVM and I'm not dating him, but hes around often. I cant vent to family because they still like him despite all hes done. I'm proud of you for getting out of that situation. My ex did the same thing and ended up cheating on me and making me feel crazy for being paranoid. If he cant restrain from doing something so simple, then what else is he not willing to do? Know your self worth, and that theres better men out t…

You can have perfect supermodel looks and a man will still look at other girls. Theres always an excuse for them. Take pride in your looks, look how you want. Be the bad bitch you want to be and dont worry about what men think. There'll always be plenty that think you're a goddess even when you don't think you do 💞

Due for labor in december and glad I left my man baby of an ex. Imagine if the roles were reversed and the man had to give labor. They'd cry if you so much as let go of their hand

My ex literally called me mommy. Had my buy clothes and food for him. Had to be on him all the time about doing chores and getting his schoolwork done. Had to nag him to shower and brush his teeth and to god forbid take a 10 minute break from his gaming to actually take care of stuff. Refused to get a job or try to do anything in life. Now imagine if a woman did that, would men be okay with it??

My ex (and baby daddy) is over often since I'm pregnant. He knows I have no pleasure or sex drive when it comes to him but still has the audacity to ask me for head 🙄

Either way you're crazy. If you seem levelheaded and use their same tone, you either don't seem to care or arent listening. They call you distant. But if you show emotion you're 'overreacting ' or 'not being logical'. You can never win 🤦‍♀️

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
