I ran coolcicada's PPL for a while and saw some great results. It's an intermediate-level 6-day program. If you can't dedicate 6 days due to your schedule, a PHUL routine may be better as it's only 4 days and hits the big muscle groups pretty nicely.

Don’t get a credit card. If you can’t pay for it with cash, you can’t afford it. This is completely foolish. The real advice should be to get a credit card, use it for what you normally would have anyway, and pay it off every month. It's extremely important to build credit, and it helps teach discipline as well; plus you get cash back/points in the process.

I find awkward social situations like this to be highly entertaining and viewed it as an experience worth sitting through. My take is that their relationship was going south for a while, he proposed, she declined, and then shit hit the fan and she dumped him. He will get over it. Maybe he'll even find this subreddit. No they don't all go for the most dominant male. However I would argue that even most betas have at least one alpha trait, and that combined with their other traits, some girls would still find said mostly-beta-guy-with-one-alpha-trait to be attractive and worth pursuing/sticking with. My example would be a gamer chick who's into a fellow gamer guy who is mostly beta but is dominant in the gaming world in some way (guild leader, for example).

REFINANCE. I cannot stress this enough. You will save thousands in interest on that loan. There are a few companies that offer student loan refinancing (SoFi and Citizens Bank are the 2 big ones AFAIK). If you have a high income (you do) and a very good credit score (you should) you will get a great rate. I was able to slash my rate from an avg of 6.5% across multiple loans to 3.5%.
