Thanks, i will pm you. I have actually already bought and done Transformation Mastery. This paradox of "stop trying" is an age old one, it's the subject of enlightenment and is not simple. I am going through step 3 exactly as you describe. I did all the feverish self improvement for a couple years, including some very awful psychedelic trips to hell, and i have now arrived at a place of total hopelessness where i feel myself to be literally dying of loneliness and misery. thanks for your response, yes I have been noticing that "social overlord" effect after getting over the stifleyness of the first couple sets, and i'm generally pretty good at playing that role of the relaxed dude saving people from boredom and making new connections between sets, and it's a great flow to get in. I see them as the same. The mental agony of depression is inextricable from the limiting, delusional belief that there is no process by which you can get what you want, or get away from what you hate, or stop wanting or hating said things. Depression is maybe the state of mind resulting from the learned belief that things are helpless.
