I just had a great convo with my husband last week. I have IUD and if I ever feel like I don’t want it/experience complications/ it’s starts to hurt he’s fully open to getting a vasectomy. However, I personally love not having a period and only worrying about a 45 minute appointment once every 5 years. If your man isn’t willing to share the responsibility of birth control and won’t make changes for your physical comfort and happiness he 👏🏻 isn’t 👏🏻 worth 👏🏻 your 👏🏻 time 👏🏻

I’m going to get my manager to give me a consistent day off so I can start a martial arts class! I’m also going to find time to watercolor again, I want to paint tree frogs.

This is crazy, limiting education is almost never a good thing. I have a vivid memory in 8th grade where we had to go to an assembly that outlined the dangers of porn addiction in young minds because people kept using the school WiFi to watch porn during class on their phones. Sure it was laced with scare tactics, but there were also testimonials about people (mostly men) who watched porn multiple times a day from age 12 to 25 and now had no idea how to interact with the opposite gender.

I’m really proud of our girl gang. A few of them have formed their own little support channel for the members who are struggling with eating disorders and like 5 other members offered to help my friend move.

Well, I have a year to fill her life with so much female positivity that there is no point in considering it. Wish me luck!

Okay but Carrie is also trash. Throughout the full show she 1) throws food at Big in a fight 2) punches Big in the face while he’s asleep 3) shows up at his door in the middle of the night constantly. Later in the show she cheats on her fiancé with Big and then tries to force them to be friends.

I re-read through this entire thread. Other than AOC herself saying the behavior she endured was a behavior that all women have to deal with, where are you getting people advocating for her being the representative of all women? Women can be role models to other women without representing an entire gender. In fact, some women can say they have a person as a role model without forcing everyone else to also follow that role model. So again I ask, other than you... who is saying someone should make…

Living your life to avoid stereotypes men have placed on our shoulders is still living your life at the will of men. I'm glad she's angry, she should be. *People* are dying. *Children* are dying. To be anything less than irate in the face of current American policy is indecent and dehumanizes the victims. Also, wasted potential? She's in the US House of Representatives, what public office have you successfully run for (against an incumbent from your own party) in the name of shifting the narrati…

The ability to curate a space is something I am sooooo envious of. It is such a great skill to have and really does immediately pop out the second you walk into a well-curated home/office/apartment.

- It's cliche, but my smile! I have a face like a chipmunk, but my smile is infectious as hell. -My public speaking abilities. I did Mock Trial, advertising teams, speech & debate and now pitch work for my career. I can hold a crowd's attention if I need to. -I'm resilient. I'm only a few years into adulthood, but so far I haven't found anything I can't bounce back from. Unemployment, trauma, death and even a worldwide pandemic haven't been able to stop me! -My strategic thinking, I don't have a…

My husband and I waited 7 years to get married. I know this sub rags on “the forever girlfriend” but, we also started dating in high school and wanted to get our degrees out of the way before dealing with a wedding. Two years in I started asking the questions I needed answers to continue moving forward: Do you see yourself building a life with me? Do you want kids? How dedicated are you to paying off student loans? Are you cool with the fact that I will never take your last name? Where do you wa…

I would argue it’s the most important thing to level up. A stable career, finances and exercise regime is much easier to achieve when you have successfully wrangled your brain.

I need women to stop giving mental illness the power to be such a pass. My husband struggles with depression and you know what he does when he feels himself slipping? Tells me how he’s feeling, books an extra therapy appointment, calls the doctor and asks to revevaluate his med regime, gets stricter on his diet, gym habits and water consumption. Mental illness is an awful thing to experience and people who are suffering deserve patience and sympathy- however not to the point of self detriment!!

Sarcasm can be funny as hell, some of my best comedic moments have been using my deadpan sarcasm. However, if you have to say “I like sarcasm” or “that was sarcasm” as a warning you’re probably pretty f*cking bad at sarcasm.

I got an IUD because the pill was leaving me nauseous and vomiting up every other meal, I also didn't want to replace the arm insert every 3 months during college. I just got mine replaced and only had about a day of cramping upon replacement. I also don't have to have a regular period which is great. One 30-minute appointment and now I'm baby free for 5 years! The worst-case scenario isn't necessarily the standard. However, I'm agreed that changing your birth control method so your short term p…

That’s literally the joke. That they have small dicks. They are a comedy duo... so the name is a joke.

My mom always says you shouldn't fully commit to anyone until: you've seen them sick you've navigated an airport with them you've built a piece of IKEA furniture with them So I guess the easiest option is to order some new furniture or ask him to help with something around the house that requires executing technical knowledge.

A guy from my friend group in high school decided he was interested in two of my female friends at the same time. He started sending IDENTICAL snaps/texts to both of them. The worst part is one of the girls fell for it and now they are married. He dropped out of college and put on 150 lbs and she went on to be top of her nursing class and land a high paying job at one of the best hospitals around. People can be anything with a chance to edit their texts before pressing send.
