Friends With Benefits

Very well put. I can't really imagine any sort of relationship, be it FWB or not, with a woman if I don't like something about her. It's tough. Oh and hope is a fickle bitch.

That's the thing: we were each other's type and would have done something long term had it not been for grad school. Messy, messy end to that FWB deal. Live and learn, I suppose. *edit: I developed feelings for someone who could do something long term, and when I ejected it all went to shit.

I just went through this. Initially, yes, FWB can work, but in our case both parties got too emotionally invested and it blew up like Chernobyl. It CAN work for the duration of the FWB relationship, but I think it's a very fine line to tread.

Thanks, mod. I've started getting back into my hobbies as of late. Reading a lot (non-seddit material), playing guitar, painting, drawing, focusing on my school writing and other material. I'm definitely keeping busy, but with the lack of the "out of sight, out of mind" idea due to us being the same major and seeing each other frequently has made it tough. The thing that she's doing that has made it easier is that she's been talking shit about me that a mutual friend told me about the other day.…

Someone told me earlier that it was sold out in print on Amazon. If you get it on Mark Manson's site you get: A 296-page ebook, in Kindle, ePub and PDF formats A 1-Hour Bonus Audio Interview and a Bonus Ebook on finding your Life Purpose. 60-day Money Back Guarantee. Instant Download. I think The Game works for guys who want to mask all the issues that they have inside by creating some bullshit exterior. With all of the confidence issues and mental breakdowns Mystery has chapter after chapter th…

Buy it directly from Mark Manson's site. http://markmanson.net/books/models It's $14.99 but you get the PDF, epub, and mobi. You can read the eBook while you wait for the physical copy. EDIT: I don't think it comes with a physical book... Sorry..

No problem. I started off with The Game, but I got tired of reading it about halfway through. None of it felt natural in the field. I heard about Models and Manson's ideas, and I love it. It has helped me develop a more organic approach to the whole thing. I think that comes from his approach of working from the inside out.

You're bragging and I accept it. Really though, great job. I don't know if you've read Models, but you have a lot of True Confidence as described in that book. Keep working it my guy. Best of luck.

There's tons of AMAs in the side bar.

I shared the same view towards Mark Manson's Models. I picked it up after his second AMA. It was eye opening. Conversation feels more natural in a set now. It's helped me with a lot. I can't recommend it enough to those in the sub that have pushed it aside.

"So invite her to go bowling or something." God damn it, Roman. She's not his cousin.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
