My ex throws the term “default parent around” while simultaneously complaining to my lawyer that I arrange my own childcare and show up to their sporting events even when not “my time”.

We forced them to file their financials at 1year + 1 day and requested assignment of the master. Should have one appointed any day. Status hearing sometime this week and then we should get our first hearing with the master sometime in March. I was told APL will continue until we’ve received the masters opinion.

I need my lawyer to get in front of a judge to be able to make the imputed income argument. Thats the problem. Not that we don’t have an argument to make. It’s the delay. 2 months to the first opportunity to challenge it.. then the judge is sick and now it’s another 2 months… In my state medical debt is martial debt and not like student loans. Which reminds me.. I also have student loans Im paying…

I mean…. Let her until you have enough to modify? Remember it’s overnights that matter. I’d love love love if she’d give me more time with my munchins.

The estimated 6k is just in temp alimony. If we can’t find compromise over that, what chances do you think we can compromise over final settlement? I would gladly pay 6k more of the marital estate to wrap this up, but that’s not what her side is doing. We’ve had a “agreement in principle” on all items including inventory, custody and distribution. Until: I stopped giving in to her little tantrums. So that’s where we are… now she’s continuing to throw a fit by refusing to compromise on the suppor…

Oh, we tried. Thru everything at it. But it’s just the support officer ;-( she can’t really deviate. On to a judge. Although I question if we should take our stand here or wait for the real settlement.
