I’ve been doing better in controlling my anger and have been utilizing STFU, I’m going to edit this post to clarify what I mean. Those moments are rare. But I agree with you- that’s been my idea since I was little and the older I got the more it was confirmed. There was never really any reason. I’m also in the same boat as you where arguments make me overwhelmed.

The grooming is worse by the DAY! I’m thankful that I’m mostly out of it which is why I want to squash my resentment.

I’m not really seeking or reading blogs that vilify men. I’m reading blogs written by men, and videos, blogs and forums of redpill or traditional wives and husbands. I select based on relationship longevity as well. I reject intentional hate/ slander of men to the point where phrases like “why do men” and “KAM” irritate me. It’s more of the fatigue of constant learning and not coping well with the points men and women clash at. Being told men are simple when I’m reading the complexities of their…

I don’t expect all men to treat me like crap, that’s why the hogging attempts were so disturbing because everyone but the hoggers and bullies treats/ treated me well. I put my best foot forward at being nice and polite and it showed in what I got back. Yes, I’m vigilant against that. I’d treat a good man like a good man and if cheating happens and I want to fix my relationship, the only way to continue is therapy, accountability and well… treating him like a good man.

I deeply appreciate men, I don’t hate them. I just have resentment over how they think and act sometimes. I actively reject hate and mistreatment of men and after reading the blogs, I can see how the world can really smother a man’s spirit and I put my best foot forward so that I’m not an enemy to men. My issue was frustration because when you’re young and have liberal family members, they try to hammer it in that men and women are the exact same, and other lies. And learning the truth this late…

I’m not intentionally reading parodies on how bad men are, I’m reading blogs written by men and finding aspects of how they think and how what they want, hard to cope with. I’m sincerely happy that you’ve never experienced a hogging attempt because they’re jarring to experience. And yes, I go outside and talk to both genders, spanning age groups and marital statuses regularly. Thank you for your response.

The “strange exception” is a well-discussed phenomenon in males called wife goggles if you didn’t know.

I’m a 21 year old in a major city in the us after all… women like us are in college and are shamed for cooking and not monetising it. :( I really respect cultures where women learn to cook early and often!

From your profile I see you’re Australian haha! In the US we still have filled dumplings with a skin but the “dumplings” in chicken and dumplings are bready and soft like a dense boiled biscuit (or scone, i believe it’s called over there?). Its rich and comforting and you may like it if you try it!

Risotto and lamb chops sounds amazing… food is certainly an art and when you cook it saves you money and restaurants become less appealing unless it’s something you can’t cook or are craving.

I have no idea. I’ve stayed with friends who don’t cook often and they seemed to subsist on snacks, sugared drinks and takeout once every few days…

My mother was a cool girl, non-pickme who enabled abuse and remained overweight. Now I’m in nun mode at 21 because I simply couldn’t get my sh-t together because I was raised with no structure. My disappointment in myself bubbled over until I finally got tired of my own BS. I too do not want to become my mother, but for other reasons. I love her but she is sloppy, has no standards for people she surrounds herself with and Is a ginormous enabler. The result is that I’m losing my concept of myself…

A pressing issue in the new “trad” community is devaluation of the opinions/works of people who used to be liberal, or promiscuous, or what have you. The problem with this is that they could be, most likely are, promoting a traditional lifestyle because they learned the hard way that living that way was unproductive, sinful, and/or hurtful to their well-being. I’d much rather hear the benefits of modesty from someone who used to be immodest than someone who spent their whole life with that virtu…

What question did I miss? And yes, I’m overweight and in nun-mode.

I found a good strategy and I’m working my way down to the right weight. I actually started nun mode because I knew I’d be a good match for a good guy but my body and appearance weren’t up to par. :( but I’m gonna keep on keeping on.

Showing the curve more is now on my priority list. It feels so foreign to strategically style myself but I’m really for the journey. Cheers to curves!

Thank you for this fantastic response! I’m in the camp of girls who are good on girl game and don’t really have an attitude and my personality makes people smile, but I’m shy, isolated, really overweight, and my style isn’t coordinated. So while my personality is good, I can’t even get “in the door” in terms of looks which is the focus of my nun mode over the next year. Thank you for those suggestions. I want to show the world that I’m a unique, feminine lady while still engaging the protective …

I’ve been many weights but I’ve always had wide hips, small waist proportionally and visible collarbones. Basically I don’t lose curve when I gain or lose. Hourglass leaning towards pear. I might implement changes similar to yours because I’m not really attracting guys that are a match for me/what I want. It seems like the key is radiance and that’s a tough thing to tap into. Thank you for the input <3

Yes, most men would cheat given the opportunity…… If their wife was quarrelsome, withholding sex, and gained 100lbs. Most men in the anger phase of RP, and /all/ dusties (I hate that word) would cheat if given the opportunity. that’s about it. If redpill is a delicious bowl of homemade soup, f+f and justpearlythings are a moldy can of Campbells. Also if I’m not mistaken RPW doesn’t recommend RP aware men for LTRs.

This is such fantastic advice and I’ll check out Plant Paradox ASAP. And the bit about being a woman and not just a female is super profound. I’m going to keep every bit of this response in mind! I’ve got my work cut out for me. Thank you:)!

I don’t have an exact photo at the moment but I’m a deep autumn! Think the women in this google result. I think I’ll go with the warm oranges and rich navy next time I shop. I’m glad you brought up proverbs 31 women because I love reading up on that concept. It’s hard to lead with strength and dignity at times but I’m gonna keep on trying. Thank you very much :)
