How do you know I'm not an introvert? And Tinder has gotten me some great results (although not very often). I'm certainly not going to quit using Tinder if it works for me.

Okay, I will, thanks. Hard to motivate myself to start conversations sometimes, but I'll keep trying. I've probably been doing it wrong before--randomly interrupting conversations, etc. The only reason I've done this is because I've felt like there are literally no other options (outside of online, which I've been doing).
/r/seduction04/07/22 03:35 PM
1

Okay I'll try that. Like I said there isn't much in my area, but I can probably find something if I look hard enough.

Good idea--there aren't many classes like that in my area though unfortunately. I've thought about going to specific coffee shops repeatedly.

Last sentence wasn't necessary, but you make good points with the first questions. I probably am doing something wrong in either the way I'm approaching or the contexts I'm approaching in, but I'm not sure what to do about that either.

I will, but the tough part is I've never gotten the reward from it yet

For me it was 1 out of every 5 or so. But a number actually leading to anything happening? MUCH lower ratio.

Or she could just be keeping her options open in case she gets bored of you. Just sayin'

Definitely start approaching women. Look up Mike Mehlman and read his stuff and join his WhatsApp approach group. He didn't start approaching women or have any experiences until age 25-26 at least, now he's in his 30s and is basically an expert on it, getting laid constantly all just from cold approach. You'll have to fight through a lot of anxiety and doubts when you do this, but it will be well worth the effort. 28 is still super young.
/r/seduction29/07/21 12:20 AM
1

Yeah you should absolutely approach. Look up Mike Mehlman to learn more about approaching and getting over approach anxiety. Good luck.

You haven't missed your golden years at all. I'm 24 and in the same situation, but I recently started approaching women. Bottom line is you're not going to get the results you want unless you work for them, so you'll have to approach a lot of women and face your anxiety about it. Look up Mike Mehlman. He had no success with women until 25-26 and now he's 34 and getting laid a ton just because of how much he approaches. You can talk with him for free on WhatsApp too and he has some great advice. …

The only solution is to start approaching. I have had an inferiority complex when it comes to attractive women for a long time but I forced myself to start approaching them. I still have an inferiority complex and anxiety but the anxiety gets much better with repeated approaches. But you have it backwards. You can't fix your mindset before you take action, the only way to fix your mindset is by taking action even when you don't feel ready. Look up Mike Mehlman.

yeah it's tough, a girl who was excited to see me literally flipped in 10 seconds and blocked my number and all other ways of talking to her. Always gotta be ready for that. You should always have other women you're talking to. Not saying being a player but just have other options and practice cold approaching
/r/seduction10/07/21 01:59 AM

Good, sounds like a great experience. I'm 24 and in a similar situation as you, just now expanding my comfort zone and being open and vulnerable with women. One thing I'll caution is that as hard as it is, to try not to develop strong feelings for her just yet. Sometimes when i've thought things are going well and did something like that, I ended up getting ghosted. I hope it works out for you, I'm just offering a word of caution to be careful with your heart.

Yeah I still get the fear too, I'm pretty new to it still too. But nothing bad happens. Like today I straight up walked up to three chicks outside and called one of them attractive and I literally interrupted their bible study lmao. Which would be mortifying to some people but I just laughed it off. Still asked for her number too lol. And I almost didn't do it cuz approaching groups is still hard for me too, but I'm glad I did even though it can be super awkward. Think of it as being curious abo…

yeah for sure. You gotta just accept that at first it'll be really awkward. And you might be visibly scared. but that's okay, gotta do it anyway. Some girls will think it's cool ur approaching and admire ur courage, some will be attracted to you and give their number, others will be indifferent, others might be irritated/creeped out. But it doesn't matter how they react, you gotta just keep doing it and realize the fear is irrational, you're not actually putting yourself in any danger. But it de…

You gotta stop looking for the perfect situation and girls by themselves. Approach girls in groups even just walking down the street. It'll be terrifying and embarrassing at first (was for me) but it eventually gets better after a few dozen approaches. You have to really WANT it. If someone offered you a million dollars to approach a girl you'd do it. Ur capable of it u just have to commit to doing it and don't worry if you embarrass yourself. I used to be Terrified of it for years and had liter…

You say you "can't" approach women. Bullshit. If someone offered you a million dollars to call a girl attractive, introduce yourself and ask for her number, you'd do it. You're perfectly capable of doing it, you just don't want to bad enough yet, that's all there is to it. It's really not complicated and there's no magic solution. Yeah you'll feel embarrassed and even scared a few times but if you really want to do it, you can't let a little temporary embarrassment and anxiety stop you

No
/r/seduction27/06/21 04:46 AM

Idk, to me it's weird unless she's looking and smiling at you. I wouldn't confront a guy on it though unless he's obviously harassing her
/r/seduction25/06/21 04:44 PM
1

yeah ive gotten numbers but not many. you have to do a lot of them to get good results i think. but it'll be worth it
/r/seduction19/06/21 12:22 AM
1

go direct and straight up call them attractive. dont bother asking for directions. the anxiety gets worse that way because you know deep down thats not why you're talking to them. make it clear in the first 30 seconds of conversation why youre talking to them and you will feel better and there will be less tension
/r/seduction18/06/21 10:04 PM
1

they're not all that way, some hot girls are very nice, in fact Ive found the less attractive ones are more mean than the really hot ones. I def wouldn't stay with a 41 yo unless youre absolutely convinced youre in love and even then don't commit to anything. you might regret it. just my two cents lol
/r/seduction18/06/21 10:02 PM
2

same thing happens to me. I think the only thing to fix it is practice and forcing yourself repeatedly into situations that are uncomfortable. That is helping me a bit
/r/seduction18/06/21 05:41 PM
3

Nice. I've just started too. I've done like 32 but I'm still very much a noob. it actually gets harder because youll get some bad reactions. the key is to become outcome independent and keep doing them anyway, which I'm still trying to work on myself.
/r/seduction18/06/21 05:39 PM
11

yeah I can see how it'd be scary for women to be approached. I always try to be as respectful as I can when I do it and never say stuff like that. To be fair tho a lot of the guys who say creepy stuff are probably harmless, they just have no social skills. it's not easy for a lot of us guys to know how to navigate the dating world lol and it's hard when we're always expected to make the first move yet never taught how to do it appropriately.
/r/seduction17/06/21 09:54 PM

Yeah it's normal, just ignore them and keep approaching. Unless you said something really weird or creepy it's not your fault.
/r/seduction17/06/21 09:50 PM

Like "hey how's it going, just thought I'd say hi." and she would be like "hi" and then I ask what her name is and tell her mine and then say "honestly I thought you were attractive" or something like that. Sometimes I talk about something in the surroundings first or ask what she's doing. Then ask for a number as she leaves. Idk. I'm not good at it yet. Every conversation can go differently.

Not usually immediately, but I'm trying to within the first few sentences of meeting them. I used to be afraid of going direct like that but I decided to start doing it. Like I said I'm a beginner too so I haven't done it that much. Usually they like it and say thanks for the compliment. Yesterday I got the funniest reaction from a woman when I called her attractive, she's like "I'm VERY attractive, thanks for noticing." And she was insanely attractive and dressed really well so it was pretty ob…

ok, sorry. but i think you should approach women you find attractive. that's what I'm doing, I'm only approaching the hottest girls
/r/seduction07/06/21 12:43 AM
1

yeah it's good that you're starting though. I"m a beginner too. My "template" for the interactions is to make sure I let the girl know I think she's attractive, then make some small talk/conversation and then ask what kinda stuff she likes to do, if she would want to hangout, then ask for number
/r/seduction07/06/21 12:41 AM
1

You say you don't feel fear, but yet you don't approach them even though you're attracted to them. I used to be the same way. The reason you feel no anxiety is because you know you're not going to approach them, because you subconsciously already made an excuse not to and don't want to badly enough. You haven't actually committed to approaching, you're just fantasizing about doing it someday. Once you actually make a conscious decision to approach and start walking over toward the girl and start…

Nice, also try to make it clear to them you think they're attractive and try to get their number/set up a date
/r/seduction06/06/21 11:48 PM
2

yeah idgaf about what they say. Most women I approach in the daytime say thank you for the compliment and I probably made their day. Some are annoyed by it but they'll get over it in 5 minutes so I don't really care
/r/seduction05/06/21 03:57 PM

You're not an idiot, you did great! Next time just say, 'it was nice meeting you maybe we could hangout sometime, do you have a number or snapchat or something I can get'

She seemed flattered at the time but maybe she was just being nice. I'm pretty much over it

I approach lots of girls but this girl was literally 10/10 face and body and was super super friendly. And my last few approaches before then the girls had horrible reactions to me, really bitchy or creeped out so I started thinking maybe something will work with this girl because she was so nice and willing to give her number and wanting to hangout. I know I'm too obsessed but it's hard for me not to be

We did plan to go hiking and check out some parks this week later. She just didn't know when she'd be free to do it yet so we didn't plan a specific time. She definitely seemed attracted. She hand wrote her number on a piece of paper for me and she seemed super open and ultimately asked ME if there were cool things to do around here. Why would I wait three days to call? That's a dumb mind game imo but what do I know lol

I just approached a drop dead gorgeous girl laying in the grass studying. I thought she would be really offended by it and was scared and almost didnt do it but she was super receptive and ended up giving me her number and asking ME about things we could do. Idk if anything will actually come of it, I'm very cynical because I've gotten my hopes up about shit like this before and then nothing happened. But my point is that you don't know how a girl is going to react to your approach unless you ap…

yeah a woman on here once told me it's "wrong" to say even say "hi" to women in public places during the daytime because it "scares" them and personally attacked my character for doing it
/r/seduction01/06/21 06:46 PM

it's not always about getting the girls number, it's about doing things that are out of your comfort zone because you want to and not letting fear hold you back
/r/seduction01/06/21 06:31 PM
5

It's hard for me too and I'm still trying to get over this so I'd be interested in reading the answers. I've done it but it's hard. You basically have to realize it's not normal or "socially acceptable" and do it anyway because you want to. Easier said than done I guess. I've seen girls who thought it was really cool that I did it and said they admired my courage. Other girls are annoyed, others get creeped out. I guess you have to just not care about outcome or reactions
/r/seduction01/06/21 06:30 PM
14

Nice, that's awesome. Also, if you keep doing this you're gonna get some really negative reactions once in awhile, so don't let those stop you or bring you down. As long as you're not yelling out sexual comments or something lol, it's not your fault if girls act rude or weird haha.

Same, I'm 24 and was basically a loser with women all through college, barely had any friends. I just started cold approaching, have approached 14 women in the last 3 weeks, got at least 6 Snapchats, 1 number, but only one girl responded. It's a numbers game I think. I just wanna keep cold approaching to improve my social confidence and eventually get an attractive girlfriend who is into me. Cool, yeah, you have a nice day too. I admit I probably shouldn't have stated it's a made-up disorder as an absolute fact. Prolly shoulda just said it was my opinion or somethin

I don't know if dyslexia can be measured on brain scans or not, but most of the time, the diagnoses are done anecdotally, not by scanning the brain. I guess what I'm saying is, I think it's true that some people might have a harder time learning certain skills and behaviors, but instead of attaching their entire identity to a label, they can just realize that they need more help/practice in those areas than others. I think overall we're on the same page about this. I appreciate that you can actu…

Anxiety definitely exists, because it's a measurable, quantifiable disorder. You can actually measure the increase in heart rate and blood pressure, shaking, etc. My main point is that I don't think it is productive to label kids with disorders, and it negatively impacts their self esteem. If you tell your child they are "dyslexic" or have "Asperger's", how do you think that impacts their self-esteem and dedication to improving their skills longterm? I was socially retarded for years, and said a…

Of course it is. I used to be terrible at math. My worst score on the ACT was in the math section. So you know what I did? I worked for 4 hours a day for the next 4 years to improve my math skills, and got a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics. I didn't label myself a victim with a bullshit disorder. Anything can be achieved with enough work, but those who are lazy would rather depict themselves as being a victim of a "disorder" rather than take the initiative of doing the work. It's a lot easier a…

You hope I get hit by a car? Lmao. You're gonna go far in life with that attitude, kid...NOT. You're bitter about the fact that you don't have the balls to work on yourself and your own social skills with women so you come bitch to people online because you won't take responsibility for your shitty life. You sound like the next Elliot Rodger, dumbass.

No, Asperger's Syndrome is a made-up disorder, and this is coming from someone who has been incorrectly labeled with the disorder as well. Social skills can be learned just like language, mathematics, driving a car, cooking, playing an instrument, or any other skill. Similar to ADHD, it's nothing more than a label that lazy parents put on their children who have naturally lower baseline social skills and need to work harder than the average person to learn them. But, they can still be learned, i…

You sound a lot like me actually, and I'm still working on these issues, but have started to get better at it. I had CRIPPLING approach anxiety and social anxiety for years. In college around your age I couldn't even talk in class without my heart pounding and almost having a panic attack (I'm 24 now). You mentioned your parents don't give you any relationship advice. Is their relationship bad? For me, I think a lot of my issues stemmed from the fact that my parents have a bad relationship, with…

That's awesome. Keep it up. I've done 9-10 cold approaches in the last couple weeks and I just started. There's definitely no magic to it and it's still really hard. If you're serious about it you have to find a way to keep yourself motivated with either positive or negative reinforcement because otherwise you're gonna get discouraged. All of this alpha male "theory" is a bunch of bullshit and 95% of guys who read this crap don't actually approach women. I know because I read this kind of stuff for YEARS without doing anything. Then I finally started taking action and learned way more. My advice would be to never read another alpha male/cold approach blog again and just start approaching and see what happens.

A line I used the other day on a girl in the park was, "Hey how's it going, I was just bored and you looked like a cool person to talk to." And then we talked about random shit for 5 minutes and exchanged contact info. As far as how to get yourself to do it, well it's pretty simple, if you want to do it, you will, and if you don't do it, it's because for whatever reason, you didn't want to. For me that day I had bitched out on talking to so many girls that I felt like I had no choice so I just d…

The more you have this bitter mindset, the worse off you're gonna be. You're already sabotaging yourself by avoiding approaching girls because you think they're all self-absorbed jerkwads. So maybe try meeting new people. Try approaching random girls to start conversations, that's what I've been starting. I know it's not easy, but if I can do it I guarantee you can. If you wanna do it, you have to just do it. You don't need to ask random strangers on the internet to make you approach a girl. Only YOU can decide to do it for yourself.
/r/seduction05/05/21 04:17 AM

There's no magic trick, you just gotta do it. For me asking for a number or snapchat is easy and a natural way to end a conversation with someone, the hardest part is walking up and starting the conversation.

Most if not all youtube channels with pickup videos are just self-improvement porn that doesn't do guys any good. I'm learning far more from actually approaching girls than I ever did watching tens of hours of dumb PUA videos. If you wanna approach, you just gotta experiment for yourself with what works.
/r/seduction04/05/21 11:54 PM
1

Well it's impossible to be confident if you're in experienced, that only comes with practice. You have to accept you're gonna be nervous when you start out, thats why a lot of guys won't approach girls I think
/r/seduction04/05/21 08:11 PM
2

Yeah. Which doesn't even bother me. Most of my cold approach interactions have been really positive and the girls seemed to like it because I was always respectful. I think it could actually work if I do enough of them. The problem is it's so hard sometimes to actually decide to do them haha.
/r/seduction03/05/21 05:02 PM

What counts as a rejection? I've done 5 cold approaches in the last week. 2 were rejections, 3 exchanged snapchats, so far haven't heard back yet from any of them but hoping maybe I will from the most recent one. I'm super new to it but it seems women give out contact info pretty easily, but how often do they respond/meet up from it? Not sure yet.

It's a 99.75 percent survival rate buddy. Any other generation would've just dealt with this virus as a part of life and not put their entire lives on hold for a thing that's barely worse than the flu. People in the 21st century are just spoiled and pampered and would rather give up an entire year of their life they'll never get back than accept a small risk. Honestly if you're going to get drunk don't even think about driving to where you're going. The last thing you need is to screw your life up forever because you drove drunk. And if you dont think you have enough confidence you'll end up drinking too much. Idk what you mean by 'drunk' but when I get drunk I can't drive for 8 hours. If you're gonna get drunk, find a place to approach that you can walk to or get an uber or something. I did my first cold approach drunk, and I def drink too much so…

If you KNOW and are committed to actually approaching if you get drunk, you could get drunk once and do your first approach drunk and realize that the reaction won't be that bad, then start approaching sober. But I think a better idea would be to just keep working through the anxiety. I have had the same issue and still do, I've only done a handful of cold approaches, but I'm working through it. Yea, except she looks 14. Even if he was just trying to better his social skills, it's always a bad look to be a grown ass man talking to children who are complete strangers.

He is an absolute creep and probably was a predator. And don't get me wrong, I'm all for cold approach, I'm trying to learn it myself. But this girl looks really young, probably a child. Not OK and totally wrong. I never approach anyone if there's any chance they're under 18.

I did 2 cold approaches last weekend somehow but then some days I'm too in my head. It just takes practice. you have to literally force yourself to walk up to a girl and say something

It's ok, I basically had the exact same thing happen yesterday lol, you sound so much like me it's kinda scary lol. Have you done cold approaches before?

Only do it if they're not alone and you're in a well lit public area with other people at least somewhat around

I'm socially awkward as hell and I just started cold approaching so if I can do it you definitely can, hit me up if you want

Your college campus. As far as how you do it, well, you just have to do it lol. I know easier said than done though, it took me literally YEARS of wanting to before I actually tried. So just do it and don't be like me lol.

Friends house? Or your car. Or a hotel room if you can afford it.

I'm the same way. I'm just starting out by forcing myself to say hi to as many girls as possible. I don't know anything about real cold approaching, but this is how I'm trying to start

I like the video game analogy. The challenge is trying to actually view it that way. I gotta learn how to stop freezing up when approaching.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
