Cut yourself off from her 100%, really. This is the only way. Work on yourself Time I'm in the exact same boat sorry to say

Honestly, I didn't read all that but have two takeaways... 1 You need new friends 2 Once you hit 40, sex is not that important

I personally find it helpful to type it out, even if I don't always get a response

I'm 1 year out of an 11 year relationship. Holidays are tough. You will be okay. Yoy got good advice, stay single for a while. Write everything down that you didn't like and what you did in a relationship. You will be happy you did when you start over.

Exactly right. As much as I want to meet someone again, she will need to be very close to what I'm looking for. Until then, im worried about me

You make a lot of sense. Thank you again for your comments. I guess I really need to find myself again and resist the urge to try to find myself with someone else..... right?

Thanks again and I really hope you are right. The lack of interest from the dating app really hurt me, especially since my ex moved on so fast...

Just knowing that someone gets what I'm dealing with means a lot. Years ago when I was single, dating sites were the place to go to meet nice people who DIDNT want one night stands... I guess that has changed

Thanks so much for this response. I thought jumping into another relationship would help make me feel better about ynself after the betrayal I experienced... I guess I'm not ready

Hi, thanks so much for this. Things have improved for sure but it's still difficult. I have gotten better, then worse again quite a few times. I volunteer at a local hospital . I appreciate your thoughts

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
