Sorry you are feeling down today man, holidays are a hard time of year for a lot of us in different ways. As far as “missing” your ex in a way, it’s really not surprising. Toxic people tend to carve out a huge part of our life for their own, which feels weird when they are gone and you have this huge empty space now you’re probably not sure what to do with. My advice would be to fill it up with hobbies and people you enjoy spending time with and never look back.

It's normal to feel this way, don't torture yourself too much and you will get over it eventually. Try to keep your mind focused on something else this year.
