1	This is beautiful, thought I’d share it here. In divided with how I feel about step-dads. On the one hand, I do think that a decent step-dad is better than “no Dad” for a child and, hopefully, the child’s life has a better outcome for it. On the other hand, let’s face it, most single mothers are single mothers because of the poor decisions they’ve made. Often, they blow up their marriage (and their kids’ lives) and throw an otherwise good man (husband/father of the kids) to the curb because they think they can do better. 3	There is always another guy. I’m not big on shaming men for much (we get plenty of unwarranted shame from all aspects of society), but we ought to start shaming men that fuck around with women who have children, especially young children. The children suffer because men give these women opportunities to become distracted from raising their children.
