I'm too high to think of something witty to say. You win the internet for today, I'm going to bed. Seriously, good night.

I work at MIT- a school where the ratio of women to men has turned in the womens' favor. So... they have plenty of fucking chances.

If by "Please help" you mean "Please help me break up with her", then no, that's your job, unfortunately.

It's nice to vent sometimes. If we can't do it here, we can't do it anywhere.

You're raised by parents. You're raised by a dad AND/OR a mom. It doesn't matter whose hole you came out of. That little girl should feel comfortable calling you dad, because not being able to call anyone dad is... horrible

It sucks that they can't just call you Dad.

Feminist trolls. I've been banned from various subreddits for making "horrible comments" to feminists, and I'm fairly certain that they stalk me to downvote any offensive comment I make.

While I do agree, I think that they have a choice to make together, and that makes it a bit more complicated. Think of the kid as a car: A couple goes out and buys a car, splitting the cost. It turns out to be a clunker, and they didn't get what they bargained for. She wants to just keep the car and deal with it, he wants to get rid of it. What should they do? If they can't agree, they break up. Well she wanted to keep the car, she keeps it. But then it is HER responsibility to pay for any maint…

Good luck getting her consent. So sorry for your brother, if this happened to me my life would be ruined, I'm 22 and trying to finish college. For the legal aspect, make sure that he never says the word "abortion" EVER again. Make it seem like his stance is have the baby, then give it up for adoption. Abortion is a difficult subject because of the whole "her body her choice", but adoption is (or should be) an equal decision.

Very true, though the OP mentioned that the woman is against adoption.

I would love to twist one of those quotes about how "men who are falsely accused of rape should give up their rights to protect women" to say that women should give up their rights, but this is just too fucking sad. I'm 22 years old, and if this happened to me I'd be ruined. Fuck everything about this.

How an you say for sure that rage comics are played out? Is that not subjective? You don't want to see them here. That's great. Clearly others do, since they've been upvoted. You're batting a thousand here buddy.

Everything you've said in this thread so far. And you're also wrong for continuously coming back to argue with me. You should just drop it. I would have, but you keep asking questions, and I'm not the kind of guy to leave questions unanswered. That's Mulder's deal.

No, it isn't. If you wish to counter with an actual statement of rationalization for posting that in mens rights, please do. Or you can keep making smartass comments.
/r/MensRights28/02/11 06:47 PM

no. Stating that women aren't rational isn't a point, it's an opinion. This is not a mens rights issue, and you're not helping.

I am a 22 year old male, living with my girlfriend of 2.5 years. Our relationship is exactly like yours. Additionally, our parents both also have great relationships. I am in love and I am excited about the prospect of spending my entire life with this woman. THAT BEING SAID, my last girlfriend before her was a complete cunt. She treated me like shit, stole money from me, put me into situations where I had to get involved with her own life issues, and eventually lied to me about having STDs and …

I think the issue is shelf-life. You start the women's rights movements, and all these organizations. You get the right to vote. You get jobs, better education, rights to protect against DV. And that's what you wanted. But hey, why stop there? After all, you spent so much time putting this organization together, now that you have what you want, why stop? So you keep fighting and fighting. And pretty soon, you're obsolete. But you're still pushing an agenda. Until you get to the point that you're…

Is it racist to cross the street when you see a sketchy looking person who just happens to be african american, at night, with nobody else around? No, it's just being safe and trying actively to not get mugged.

When a woman decides she didn't actually want to have sex, a week afterwards, even though she was so drunk she doesn't remember that she actually initiated it, and could use some extra money to pay for college.

I feel like I'm being hated for the things I have as well. My family has always been about hard work, and everything I have I've earned. My parents aren't rich, but they're well off because they've worked their whole lives. My stability is now something to be ashamed of? Why do I get scorned for not giving a homeless person money?
/r/MensRights07/09/10 07:15 PM
3

alright alright, I'm not saying I'm being oppressed, its just the enforcement of stereotypes that hurt us in the long run. This is why men aren't trusted, they're seen solely as sexual entities
/r/MensRights07/09/10 06:58 PM

I don't even mind that. The fact is, she was checking the girl out herself! Then to tell me she believes that all men check out all women all the time? That's like a grocery store cashier saying "What, no watermelon? I thought all you blacks eat watermelon all the time."

HA! I never even thought about how much easier it would be to parallel park in Britain...
/r/MensRights17/08/10 11:46 AM

Here's something interesting: it's more likely, in the event of a car accident, that the passenger will die than the driver. So if more men are dying in accidents, who's driving?
/r/MensRights16/08/10 02:55 PM
3

thank you! I mean look, my girlfriend's a great driver. But I don't know a lot of women who can parallel park. And that doesn't mean that all of them suck at it. And there's no proof either! "after studying a lot of traffic data" means... nothing.

Why didn't they mention "women know when to shut the fuck up better than men"? Oh wait...
/r/MensRights16/08/10 02:53 PM

This is the world we live in, eh? Don't just give up though. In fact, I think it's easier to adopt abroad. I'd say move, get out of the US (unless you have a career and support system here). But most people are really supportive, it just scares me to think that kind people will be harassed for adopting.

I'm sorry, I forgot that we were speaking troll-talk. What I meant to say was shut the fuck up and go die.

dude. dude. dude. Bad move. You should've had her served while Daughter was in your custody. Find a friend to be around you for the majority of the next 24 hours as a witness to ay events that occur. and... give your daughter a hug. I feel bad for you, but 60% of my sympathy has to go to her. Good luck.

I just hope she's ok with it. I know, personally, what it's like to need a pill to get by day-to-day. Getting off my meds was, at first, the most liberating feeling. But then I had the issues again, and realized I had to take care of myself better. Good luck to you and her.

I'm not saying dump her, I hate that advice as well. I'm glad it's being taken are of, it's sad that it has to be through medicine. But everyone has to love someone, right?
