9	Imo, women sometimes really do verbally provoke men. Men are powerless and can do nothing. Therefore, women don't see themselves provoking a man, let alone see any fault for it. What do you think, Purple Pill? I think what OP may have purposefully or inadvertently been referring to is the cultural dynamic that men just avoid going "too far" most of the time due to this expectation. If a guy said something waaaayy over the line and in my face, I probably wouldn't hit him, but it seems that men avoid doing so because they there's a possibility of a physical repercussion. 0	The Six Scientific Principles of Persuasion Applied to TRP An example I thought of could be "I know". That could replace "I think" pretty simply, but with "if", you can simply do away with it. It's less about the exact meaning of the word "if" alone, but more of the uses it follows. For example "Hey, if you're not busy later, I think we should go get some coffee sometime." It's pretty obvious that this statement is pretty sad, but it shows how using if too much shows uncertainty on your part.
