I'm the same I'm happy, but sad. It's a lot when you didn't want the ending. Your not a failure you can only do 50% of the work. No one can fault you, are any of us perfect no. But we can all work and if she chose not to what else can you do. You will trust again. You have to retrain your mind. Just because it happened once don't mean every woman is that way. Be slow to trust but willing to trust.

I appreciate it, I'll cheers to you. It was tough and I couldn't see a way to climb out. Everything fell apart at once. Im relying on no one else for my happiness now. I build my future.

The better question is why dwell on these kind of things? What's happened has happened, make your life better, be happier. I was stuck in a revolving door for so long thinking what I could have done differently all these things about me but not realizing it doesn't matter what I did. She choose to do what she did and all I can do is live my life for the better. Don't sulk or live in the past, live for tomorrow. Make your situation better. There are other women who will treat you better and care …

Thank you, I've been through worse and it can't hurt me now. I'm here to have fun while I can.

It's been over a year since divorce and I have been in another relationship that i ended and had a few flings. I don't feel this is rebound. New girl and I decided to be exclusive to each other a few weeks ago. I think it's just old wounds but I'm just trying to make sure it's in my head so I was asking what y'all saw as typical cheating behavior.

Sorry I edited the question, we are exclusive.

We swap every two weeks, 6yo,6yo and 5yo. It seems to work well, the kids have the chance to settle at each house.

Brother the scale always moves. I would have said my ex was a 10/10 in the bedroom, my scale has now moved and ex is a 6/10. I felt I was going to have the hardest time finding someone. It took a while but this girl is a honest 8/10 and 10/10 in the bedroom. She is into everything I've always wanted to do. What's is perfect now will change and you will find someone better.

They are 6yo so kinda young to make that distinction.

I have a very similar story to OP. Trust me it does get better. You will be better 65% of the time then 90% till one day you realize it may have been the best thing that happened to you. You will suddenly be happier than you have been in years. Work on you, eat right, sleep well, work out and find a new woman when you're ready. Better days are ahead of you.

Exact same for me, I could get it up but not for long. It took forever to finish to the point of frustration, not even from the best head I have ever received. It was a real killer in the room for a short term relationship.

Her mother's side knows we can't be in the same place as each other. They invited me and the kids to SeaWorld without the EX we went and had a good time. The EX was pissed. We also had a bday dinner for me and I told the EX she was not invited. Her mom's side is aware she wasn't invited and is cool with just me and the kids.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
