Sit in the middle of the couch. Let her decide which arm she wants around her.

It is an attempt to remove the bad, yes, not simply cover things up. Obviously, the brain is an interesting thing, and knowledge of cognitive behaviors and hypnosis may not always work, but that's why we try. Locus of control teaches those who are external to be more honest with themselves, those internal to be less hard on themselves (yet both still realistic about themselves and their goals). Knowledge and application of this principle helps balance psychological health and pride in external a…

I think we're talking two semi-different things. That's the thing cognitive psychologists try to teach as a skill. Finding the root of the problem, why they're speaking so poorly about themselves, etc. and fixing that. The problem that's underneath is ultimately our own egos and self image. It attempts to strip the guard we have to protect ourselves, not cover anything up on top. A way for you to eradicate those negative thoughts to improve upon yourself as much as possible and turn you into a m…

I wholeheartedly disagree with not responding after it being sent. The fragility of self-esteem of many women becomes evident when you don't show approval of her willingness to display/the actual display of something you have expressed interest in seeing.

I don't condone cheating, but I don't have any problems trying to hook a number and maybe hang out with a girl in a relationship. If their relationship is healthily built on trust and they are true to it, hanging out with new people (opposite sex included) shouldn't be an issue.

Put your hand on your stomach and try to expand that before filling up your thoracic, upper chest cavity. Then you sort of push out the air in your stomach, using the diaphragm. That's the best I can describe. If warmed up I can inhale for a count and exhale for 16 or so.

People can be in relationships romantically while still seeking other relationships, romantic or not. Your post seems to be a diatribe to men asking these women out.

As an apparent fellow short man, OP would do well with squats and deadlifts. But it's extremely stressful, I do love it. And to OP, as men with more bulk, squats and dead lifts should be easier for you to put up higher weights. Worry about improving as a person, weight is more a factor in lifting than height. You can get strong and cut later for more aesthetic appeal.

I've been preaching macronutrients for a few years now, as a former athletic training student. Your advice is good. I like generality. Personally, I'm a "listen to your body" trainer (work out 3 times a week, only 2 if muscles are fatigued). Aside from diet, I do HIIT training, which is what allows for constant, substantial strength gain. It may not always translate into a six pack, and humans love aesthetics and are still learning to respect strength and health, but it makes me healthier and co…

5'3 or 5'4ish here. I get written off immediately because of height. If I'm already sitting I have amazing game. It shows that women are beings of emotion, and everyone can dig a personality they connect with (chemistry). Height has always been seen as a social/power dynamic. It always will. It sucks, it really does, but you gotta keep pushing. Bitches will be bitches.

and the girl will be rooting for you. Why wouldn't she? Great line. If there is the slightest bit of interest, chances are she's hoping that you're a catch. And being the confident, controlled guy that you are, she's rooting for you to be even more intriguing than you've already shown.

Semantics. It's not easy finding the perfect words to say. I fumbled over the being a dick part for a while, but I'll stand by it for simplicity. I respect the father being proud. It is a victory for his son, to stand up for himself and ultimately make his own decision for the betterment of his own life. I never disputed that, and that should be clear. I'll be sure to rephrase it next time. I'm attempting to convey that there are other means of going about the situation. Maybe that stems from my…

Damaging your reputation with false ad hominem claims is a clear case of defamation. You would have trouble as a male winning a sexual harassment case, although there are unwanted sexual advances. However, if you go to management immediately and simply state that your firm belief that the office is for professional matters, regardless of age, sex, national origin, religion, etc. then you should be in the clear. That is, provided that you have a good, reliable manager.

I'm having a tough time with this one, personally. If there was a known problem/history, then Caleb should have done something formally. The mother threw ad hominems toward Caleb, to which she realized were wrong to say in front of Parker. Just raw emotion. Parker is 14, a ticking time bomb of emotion. Although completely within his rights, I believe Caleb was simply "being a dick" which exacerbated the situation. Both child and mother were calm and collected and the mother seemed very loving fo…

Likewise. Squats and deadlifts all day.

A little late here, but composure through breathing. Just a simple deep breath in, and slowly exhaling, pausing when you've released most/all air. It's a short period that slows the heart rate and centers you in.

Charmed the shit out of my old boss about 3 years ago. Had her smiling and giggling and flirty. Had a boyfriend which I took respect to, but it never hurts to flatter them a bit.

Wit isn't a skill, per se. If anything, it's observance. I personally think it's about connecting things. To elaborate, if you're in a group and the a girl was to say "I can't believe it's raining today, I hate being wet!" The key is she hates wetness. For example I'd respond with, "And to this day she still won't do papier mache!" It keeps the conversation light-hearted and builds easy rapport by being a little odd.
