I’m going through the same situation. Getting Divorce from a 19 year marriage. Worrying how the outcome will be. She wants the house we bought together, but does not want to buy me out or sell it. Drag this alone all the way to a trial Feb 3 , 2025 . I don’t understand why make the lawyers rich when this could be resolved and over with . Thank you for giving advice and hope.

Going through the same pain as you . Stay prayed up and focus on the positive things with your children. Then the darkness with the divorce. I cry every other night. But when I pray I sleep with a peace of mind and no worries.

I woke up because of constant thinking of how wrong she never gave me a chance. I had these same feelings. It’s amazing how god put us around positive people to cope with our problems.

You guys here are really helping me . I’m anger because of the divorce and hope of no solution of making the marriage work. Alcohol does make me think the worst and I need to stop.

I want to say this . You right is best to go To trial . She does not want to sell at all . I’m leaving it up to the judge.

No cheating or anything else . It could be she changed a lot when she became a jehova witness . It’s like she focused more on her beliefs than the marriage and we went downhill. And I feel she probably trying to please someone she met or her children to get everything.

I’m feeling you on that one . It’s deep on why she want the house so bad . She took all the equity out in 2022 . And she knows the only way to keep it is to refinance it to buy me out . And she can’t. So it has to be sold . And there’s no children involved.

He didn’t tell me about a preliminary. But he did tell me that he has been trying to contact her lawyer for a month and no response back

She is a scammer. It’s just funny to me when I show up at the house to pick up my mail. She runs to the master bedroom and locks the door. And I’m definitely not a violent person. And I just shake my head and leave because it’s so sad . We cannot negotiate before we head to court .

Man I thought I was alone 18 yrs and it feels like somebody hit me and rob me blind in 2023 . I lost everything and tried numerous of times to make it work but was denied so many times. Now I see reading from everyone that been through this I’m not alone . I’m still healing and it’s hard being with someone new . I can’t trust the love again when eventually it will be taken away from you again.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
