Just more tribalism and throwing shit into boxes so they can pretend to understand it easier. But its everything men related. MGTOW, black pill, involuntary celibate - basically they lump everyone together so they can dismiss us all as a group.

Switzerland says it all. Look up the immigration numbers. Look up how divisive or polarizing their news is (hint: not). Meanwhile the UK? The US? You cant point to a single day in news where some domestic group wasn't blamed for something. Fr we should go back to just hating other countries, there were less domestic attacks back then.

It really shows the inherent privilege that they think being a bigger victim entitles them to victory of any sort. No, youre weaker, so you lose. Things would be much worse if they actually won.

From my understanding, guy one was being a twat and dangling a scarf over someone's head. Sure, its wrong. But not dangerous? Not an attack? Where did defending one's self come into play? My analogy is the 'I'm not touching you' thing kids do. Would the person not being touched have the right to break the not touchers finger in response? I'd consider that a gross over reaction. Then again, I'm canadian, and we can only use force equally applicable to the force used against us, so I could be digg…

You linked a breakdown of the results at the box office. I suppose I was more referring to internal market research. It's safe to assume that they hit their market, sure, but until the studio outright says 'we did make this for x demographic' it's just supposition. Well founded and educated, in your case, but still supposition. I think I may be caught on semantics here so feel free to ignore me, but I find assumptions to be the leading cause of... gestures vaguely everywhere So yea.
/r/MensRights25/01/24 01:17 PM
-21

That's arguable. Has the studio released that data yet? Or is that just what you assume based on the movies content and how it made you feel? Follow up: did you have a significant other of the heterosexual variety? Because spoiler, movie looks like it was made for couples too but I understand if that's not in your realm of experience.
/r/MensRights25/01/24 11:47 AM
-10

That's not fair? Not going to defend the movie but don't act like enjoying things is gender related...
/r/MensRights25/01/24 11:33 AM
9

That also goes without saying. We can't act as if everyone will assume the worst of us. Of course no attempts to diminish womens issues are being made here. This is about education and observing the data. Implying otherwise is ingenuine and duplicitous. TL;DR learning about apples doesn't mean I hate pears
/r/MensRights18/12/23 01:35 PM

Lmfao do you have any idea how many lawyers have called for tech support because they don't know how to change their email signature? Not more than five this year, but it's pretty telling. You're claiming to be better but I bet you still get some acne ridden kid to fix your phone for you when it breaks. That makes him better than you by your metrics, doesn't it?

Cool. You ate your way into your disease. I touched my way into mine. I'm so sorry that yours isn't recoverable and is preyed upon by corporations. Luckily, mines recoverable. Stop straw manning me by the way. I said porn was bad. It IS bad. It is a problem. That is scientifically and empirically validated by those much smarter than I am. It's not up for debate. I didn't say it was the ultimate source of societal woe. I didn't even say anything should be done about it. I just said porn bad and h…

No. The issue with porn is that, like a lot of modern entertainment, it is designed for a quick release of dopamine and for some, testosterone. Reducing those levels in yourself has effects on your mentality over the long term. Source: ex porn addict. I suppose it's not porn that's the issue then but porn addiction, at least in the scope I'm talking about. Not healthy, especially for young men whose brains are still developing and that is disgustingly the market for porn so...

Was the joke an attempt at mocking an assault victim, or an attempt at making people think the commenter was someone who commuted committed assault? Either way, not a joke. Your attempt at condescension is quite hilarious though, so I guess a broken clock is right twice a day.

Are you high or just wilfully ignorant? Men get raped, whether by other men or women, just as often if not more (based on projections of unreported VS reported). Do you want to know where? Everywhere a woman could be raped. It's not exclusive and straight up saying it didn't happen isn't very feminist of you.
/r/AntiFeminists05/10/22 08:07 PM

Of course, let me just solve your problems for you because I dont have any of my ow-oh? Men are being raped by men too? Huh, sorry I'm busy. Ask the white guys apparently they have no problems at all and they can save us

Oh for sure she wasn't mature or smart or whatever we want to say about her, but she put her name onto a legal document so she quite literally signed up for it. I don't think it's a situation where someone being shitty excuses someone else for being dumb.

Idk man it was run by a New Mexico National Guard one time and he had no issues. He was there as part of our Spring Ex (3 day hike through Niagara) and helped out with the Para tryouts. But just because I don't know the difference, how does one do the very specific United States Crayon Hang? Is it with your feet or something? Weights hanging? In full kit? Slip-bar? One handed? There's only so many ways one can hang from a bar, so I'm genuinely excited to hear how it's done.
/r/MensRights09/09/22 06:37 PM

In an ideal world, yes. But if you're about to look some fresh 19 year old who just graduated in the eye and say he needs to stay and die so some other lady and her kid can leave, then argue that this action would be fair, you're straight fucked in the head. It's about choice. If he wanted to abandon the women and children, he should be free to do so (obviously with all the social consequences of doing so.)

Then calling someone mature when they are not is praise.
/r/PussyPassDenied18/08/21 08:06 PM
1

Is calling someone immature an insult?
/r/PussyPassDenied18/08/21 07:51 PM
1

Apparently far away from where they either: A) teach children that every little thing should be celebrated B) assume that by paying bills you're somehow worthy of praise in any way I won't clap for a girl that pays for herself, because it's expected. I wouldn't cheer for a racecar driver based on the virtue of him not cheating, either. Lack of fuck up does not a good deed make
/r/PussyPassDenied18/08/21 07:39 PM
0

That was so sexist? So what, a woman actually paying for herself is considered mature?
/r/PussyPassDenied18/08/21 06:59 PM
11

If you can give me one good reason why men should pay for dates and women shouldn't (i.e. yes there's a social expectation but there shouldn't be imo), I'll agree with you
/r/PussyPassDenied18/08/21 05:37 PM
14

It's not mean. If you go on an outing, everyone pays unless it's otherwise agreed upon. Typically though, girls don't bring money on dates because they assume otherwise. I had a tinder date who used me to go to a dessert place, ordered a whole fucking cake to take home, then expected me to pay. I did, then left her there. Oh yes, we were leaving, but I went right to my car and drove away without a word. Those types ain't worth the time of a child, let alone a grown ass man

/r/MensRights13/08/21 11:34 AM

Dude if you hedge your statement that much it means nothing. Thats like saying 'Hitler was probably in the top 20 worst Germans, depending on the sample group' And they have the insecurity to ban you for it?
/r/PussyPassDenied12/08/21 11:29 AM
5

I think it's more along the lines of most people don't hear about men's rights or MGTOW until after they've heard of feminism, and the feminists like to portray guys as just wanting to keep the women down so these groups are seen (wrongfully) as anti feminist.
/r/MensRights05/08/21 12:37 PM

I'll admit I'm wrong in that I didn't see the other changes. This job was 2 years ago. It looks like it's been made better since. But don't try and tell me our suffering didn't fucking exist. CPP and EI (Not UI, this isn't America) are mandatory for an employer to deduct for anyone over a certain amount of hours (something low like 10-20 I believe). That is not, in any way shape or form, some sort of benefit in the context of an employer providing it.
/r/MensRights27/07/21 07:00 PM
1

I may be biased, but having a partner (ex) who had done both, I found a lot more got done around the house when she was also working, and that I was more willing to help. Also, give it 10 years and Tesla+Roomba will have you covered for all of that.
/r/MensRights27/07/21 06:43 PM
1

Ah yes the POS COVID response plan. Are you Canadian or are you trying to get all your information from the internet? Just in case you're wondering, typical (not legal) full time work culture in Canada gives you around 2 week's vacation and a week of paid sick days. She got fired after calling in sick because her job had a year long probation she was 3 weeks from passing. Shitty employers will do absolutely any and everything to save money.
/r/MensRights27/07/21 06:41 PM
1

I'm not, but if I can pay Walmart $20 to deliver most of it and someone else to do the rest, I'd happily pay to make my literal life partner get a job. It's not fair for only one to work.
/r/MensRights27/07/21 06:06 PM
1

Ontario, my dude. Employer made contributions to EI, CPP, taxes, etc. Just kept her below 39.5 hours so that she wouldn't get bonuses, health plan, paid sick days, etc. The various things that part timers aren't entitled to in my province. It's bold of you to call bullshit on someone this soon, especially without knowing the surrounding situation. I imagine you're skeptical of a lot of things?
/r/MensRights27/07/21 06:04 PM

Who pays the gas? Who pays the car? Who actually buys things, and who is a glorified errand runner?

How about - and we were doing this up until the 13th century so it ain't too crazy - you don't get fucking married until you're ready, and we keep divorce as simply the nullifying of a marriage certificate. Like, say a dude makes a bad decision in his wife, has a kid, she cheats and divorces, and now he pays child support or alimony or whatever. Fair, right? Women makes a bad choice, husband cheats, she divorces, and ends up getting paid. Still somehow fair apparently?

If you'd like to just dunk on incels, go over to FDS. We have no room for your assumptions and negativity here. To clarify, nobody said anything about the double standards of sexual partners. Nobody is talking about the lack of paternal parental leave either. It's because men and women are not equal, and should not have equal things, and are not given equal opportunities, because they are not fucking equal. All citizens should be treated by their government equally, but that's it. That's the pro…

Someone has to win, someone has to lose That's quite possibly the most naïve take on the world I've ever seen. It's like when a teenager tries to write a jaded, grizzled old guy. "War never changes. First I want you to tell me why you think a popularity contest can function as a predictive judge of quality. This answer^^ does not apply to the question I asked (reminder below). If you demand a question answered, then you need to answer one first if asked. Fantasy tropes, mythology, common courtesy, the social contract all agree on this. Well you're clearly an expert. Please, inform the peasantry: what, precisely, does an upvote represent? But, as a sign of good faith, I will let you know tha…

I didn't make any mistake. I was critiquing your previous comment, where you said, and I quote: its hilarious you consider them "Large words" that speaks volumes of your intellect. Large words (Capitalized, so a proper noun.) that speaks volumes (Here's the incorrect pluralization. You already pluralized the Large words, so you would use 'speak volumes' here. If it was only a single Large word, you would be correct here) The rest of it is fine. Well, other than using a possessive "its" without a…

No capitalization, missing apostrophes, adding in tense (or an attempted plural) where none was necessary; Your sentence as it is read implies that I am considering the concept of Large words (capitalized so a Proper Noun) that are speaking extensively of my intellect (with no implication of either superior or inferior, so these Large words that are speaking could just be ranting about average intelligence). Grammar is important.

I know I agree I'm just saying that this situation would probably never happen for a cop so there's no reason to train them. Usually when an officer arrives, it's in uniform and with flashing lights, and the entire atmosphere of the area they are now in changes. Hard to sneak up under those conditions (not impossible, just very unlikely and therefore hard to justify the money spent to train)

You really need to care less about what people think of you. MGTOW. Men Going Their Own Way. Fuck the website, and whatever douche is trying to profit off of this. It's solely about doing what makes you happy despite societies influence. No. You don't get to speak for MGTOW. MGTOW is about going your own way, in whichever direction it takes you. You can't say this man is not going his own way, even you are upset by him not going your way. That means it's his way, and that's fine. This is about acceptance of reality, not making a list of cult rules.

You're wrong. That's the subreddit, which again has strayed far from its roots. I wont defend any groups of people or subreddits, but the movement works for those it works for. If that involves staying away from relationships until you're happy in your own skin, then all the power to you dude.
/r/AntiFeminists12/05/20 06:09 PM

I never once said the sub was helpful. It was hijacked after the banning of r/braincels. The movement is helpful. It's an ideology of self-care, I don't know how that would be harmful.
/r/AntiFeminists12/05/20 06:07 PM

Again, the subreddits do not reflect the movement. MGTOW is, at its base, about being the best man you can be, doing what makes you happy, and not falling into wage slavery via debt. It helps young adults learn to "grow up", it helped me kick my depression, and it all had nothing to do with women. Just because men are going one way doesn't mean women can't come too. I consider myself MGTOW, and I've been in a relationship for three years to a wonderful woman who supports my choices as much as I …
/r/AntiFeminists12/05/20 04:07 PM

...are you sure about that? Yes, there are those that are still mad about the incel takeover of the original sub. They're giving the rest of us a terrible name. MGTOW is most definitely NOT about sleeping with as many women as possible. The subreddits do not represent the movement. Teenagers are dumb. Ignore them.
/r/AntiFeminists12/05/20 03:49 PM

MGTOW2 is for actually following MGTOW, woman hating isn't welcome there though just self-improvement.
/r/AntiFeminists12/05/20 01:11 PM

There's also a lot of parents getting depressed when their kids leave the house, and then lash out in hurtful ways. Like hell I'm living with my mom when she tells me "you turned out rotten despite everything I went through"

Lets do an excercise in the stated point. If I understand, you're saying that while each individual may have different tastes, there are certain performers that rise to a level of undeniable "best"-hood. Who, then, is the greatest drummer of all time? John Bonham? I can name others more technically proficient, others that are more innovative, and easily as skillful if not more. Why then does he get the spot of "greatest of all time"?
/r/MGTOW206/05/20 09:35 PM
2

Dude greatest rapper of all time is like saying greatest potter of all time: It doesn't fucking matter because everyone sees art differently. There is no objective "best anything ever".

No just tired of people seeing "white" as a race
/r/MensRights26/04/20 03:18 PM

You just called Europe and canada the same thing. It would be racist if someone corrected you if you said they live in China when they live in Taiwan, and you reply 'same thing'.
/r/MensRights26/04/20 01:24 PM

Very much not, racist.
/r/MensRights26/04/20 12:29 PM

This sub is about men that actually go their own way, not pathetic political hate.
/r/MGTOW205/04/20 04:30 PM

The subs that call them out get banned too, don't forget that.

RIP MGTOW. They were invaded just like you, used to not be woman hate just a bunch of supportive dudes sharing their hobbies and solitude.

Because every time I open my favourite app, there's a little red thing in the bottom corner. I press it, hoping for polite convo, and it's just your dumb ass again. Stop assuming. I'm not too good for anything. I only told YOU to mind your own business. And finally, I feel you're either intentionally missing my point or just dumb, because you keep talking about shit I never brought up in a tone that says "HA GOTCHA" and to be frank I'm not sure why you aren't embarrassed.

You're^ And there's a lot of assumptions being made. And a whole lot of not minding your own business. Go talk to someone who gives a shit.

No, people need to learn to mind their own business and not tell people how to live their life.

There's a lot of free content, and loot boxes are strictly cosmetic from what I remember. DLC might grant you a gun or two, but the game is complete in its vanilla form. Maybe look at the sequel, though I haven't played it, if you're concerned about longevity.

PvP is meh, but cooperative is a blast. The base is small, but consistent, and friendly. I played a lobby for a few hours and it seemed like everyone knew each other. Voice input is preferred but there's enough in-game communications to make it work. If you end up getting it, I could go for another play through if you want to have some co-op fun.

I never said that speaking critically made you dangerous, I said gathering in dangerous areas makes you dangerous. I still can't believe you think that a protest has the right to shut down freeways, but your "legal and civil rights experts" apparently agree despite being un-named, and therefore un-qualified. I reiterate that vague mentions of alleged experts does not hold any weight in any sort of official debate forum, so please try to keep things civil and productive. Finally, my sole example …

Places where you become a danger to the public? Yes. Illegal. You cannot congregate pedestrian traffic on an interstate. That's the epitome of ignoring road safety. Might as well play hopscotch over a blind hill. Fuck your civil rights experts because my civil rights experts disagree. Vague mentions of alleged qualifications mean nothing.

Dude, the supreme Court is where some of the most vile people in history get what's theirs. Obviously there's no protesting in front, because with how politically charged America is, that protest could easily turn to a mob, then to a riot when law enforcement try to protect someone that is - and this is important - innocent until proven guilty. All it takes is one unhinged citizen pushing too far, and then you've got chaos in the streets out front of what's supposed to be a symbol of order. It m…

My point wasn't cabs over ubers, it was that one has an established tradition of leaving tips and the other was formed in a day and age when most people think tipping is stupid, and so are less likely to do so.
