An absolutely beautiful town. It is the most visited spa town in the Czech Republic.

No need to worry about that. The vast majority of Czech residents are temporary, and are only there to work during the popular spa seasons. Since they are temporary workers, they also change frequently.

Apartments are dirt cheap, due to the low demand from the temporary workers. The apartments , that are located in the center of the tourism attractions are obviously more expensive. You can get your 600 sqft if you are willing to live 15 minutes by car from the center of the town.

The town has an international airport. A medium sized hospital, is located a very close to the border with Germany and the best part? ZERO RAPEFUGEES!

This is one of those "rebel" EU countries that refused to let them in. In addition, there are cops on every corner around the center of the town. It thrives on tourism, and does the maximum to protect the tourist population.

Mid size midwestern cities. Louisville, Nashville, Lexington, Cincinnati etc. Inexpensive and the climate is not bad. Don't go too far north or you will freeze half the year, too far south and you fry for 9 months. Of course you can forget about California.

Well, I'm sure you can find that in almost any state but it has to be the right area. Personally, my criteria is cost of living, tax levels and 2A friendliness. While it's not necessarily the best move from a financial perspective, I would never live in a state that has an income tax, for instance. I'm offended enough by having to report my dealings to the feds, much less another entity. Take Texas, for instance. No state income tax, but property tax is somewhat high as is sales tax. It's a net gain if you're earning money, but depending on how your retirement is structured, it might not be. However, somewhat 2A friendly and no additional income tax reporting.

For Europe I like Budapest.

The economy has been shitty forever and a half but it's a beautiful largely well maintained city. I wouldn't bother buying given that I'm not a citizen, don't understand the language, any lawyer could fuck me over and I don't see their economy ever improving. If you can't be helped though, studios start at 65k EUR which is about 17 years in rent. Renting is cheap and hassle free though whether via AirBnB or long term.
