What kind of racing? I'm just getting into motorsports for the first time in my life.

Damn. I read the first post (wife) and am in the process of reading the second (LTR), and both times I just want the story to end before they take a turn for the worse, especially the second. I really dreaded reading the second because it truly seems like things were about to get better. It's like a Nicholas Sparks book, only opposite. And real.

One of the reasons it's so difficult (some say impossible) to cure is because they're so manipulative without realizing it or even intending to be. I don't think an average person with BPD can fathom having hurt someone by what they consider innocent actions, but it truly is draining and damaging to people around them. I'm generally a happy person, but when I was with her I was miserable beyond description. The only time I ever seriously contemplated suicide was when she had guilted me into driv…

It can't be feminine because at 29 I seriously don't know any women who can cook. All girlfriends I've had up to this point can hardly even put a sandwich together (let alone have made a meal for me, as used to be tradition) yet all guys I know--self included--could pretty much cook most dishes.

I think Jurassic Park is the perfect movie for today's woman. The "clever girl" scene.

At the end of the day, nobody is happy. Except the top 10% of men, and even they have to deal with an endless parade of users and flakes. I promise you that with the threat of diseases, women trying to trap men with pregnancy, and lunatic stalkers, these men are not having any fun. No matter how much they brag about getting X amount of pussy, these guys are playing roulette where the bet is (in one form or another) the rest of their life. If they're unaware of this then they're foolish, and if t…

Nice. I'm learning Python and am into writing GUI's at the moment, and will be moving on to Java (mostly for Android development). Since Python seems to play nice with any language out there, collaboration is a definite possibility. I'll save your message for future reference. u/anewplanet.... Programming! :) If you're interested, a great place to start is the sidebar for r/learnprogramming.

Gotta love his credentials. "Political Blogger." Now there's a background you can't mess with.

Marriage laws aren't changing anytime soon. More men and women are opting out of it. Women are becoming more and more a pain in the ass to deal with so this causes more and more men are just saying fuck this I'm out. Maybe I'm just an optimists. I just want to point out that this is hilarious. And true. But the last sentence is perfect.

There is absolutely nothing appealing about this. I mean.... Seriously, every idea in this ad is repulsive. If I was considering Apple TV this would make me change my mind.

Where did the femininity go? San Francisco.

Exactly. The women with whom I'm acquainted over the age of 25 talk incessantly about not needing a man--aggressively not needing a man, which is interesting--and about how incredibly lonely they are, how all men just want thin and young women, etc. etc. etc. It's a serious identity crisis. Meanwhile, the guys I know (that are single) are sharing pics of video games, projects they're working on, and so on. You can tell there's a serious difference in mindsets. If one is going to even approach a …

Warhammer 40,000 novels. No, seriously. Some of them are actually pretty incredible (especially the works by Dan Abnett, and there are a ton of those). They're especially good if you're into the action of Star Wars and logic of Star Trek, only without the family friendliness of the former and the "peace for everyone" themes of the latter. They also generally don't require any outside knowledge before reading, as long as you're starting at the beginning of this or that trilogy, or reading a one-o…

Don't ever feel bad about the video games. After I broke up with my fiancee I dove headfirst into games, reading, and (learning) programming. Since middle of last year I've beaten all the Dark Souls games multiple times and through their immense challenge find similarly immense accomplishment. I actually was very depressed and lonely when I started the series and it helped me deal with sadness by showing how valuable it is to hold on and never give up. That's the whole message of the series: No …

It's like most scams where building and maintaining the scam for a small reward is more work than just actually doing the work itself, and IMHO the reward is laced with so much risk it's not worth having. I know they think they're slick and cunning tricking every woman they come across, but if you can step back and look at it objectively they're foolish for even trying; engaging in something risky for a highly questionable reward. I'd rather just turn on my PS4 and relax. If it's all about an or…

Seriously, I don't know what a lawyer could do to salvage the current standard divorce. On a good day someone still gets the worst scenario possible; the only way it could get any worse is incorporating the death sentence. Well, it sounds like it might make it easier, actually....

What movie is this? I'd be interested in watching, but I suspect they're setting him up to be grossly wrong, and he'll find belonging and meaning in love and marriage. :|

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
