No? I was replying to someone who said "Women get this idea from r/FemaleDatingStrategy". I agree that the woman in the pic is full of crap though.

The average Manhattan apartment is 3600. 2400 will get you a broom closet.

Completely off-topic, but if you've got an excess 20k a year, you should reaaaally look for something that gets you a bit more return than a savings account. Those just make you lose money slower.

One of them even told me that they want a guy with enough money so that she doesn’t have to work and can stay home Yeah, don't we all. Can I trade my husband for one just as great, but with double the income so I can sit in my ass all day? I'm up for retiring in my 30s! Slightly more realistically, if he made double his income, we'd both keep working and retire together in our 40s.

You mean "don't date men who don't contribute to a relationship emotionally and financially" is now gold digging? Because that's the gist of what I'm seeing over there EDIT: I just noticed what sub i'm on. That explains the downvotes.

Very much so. It used to be about entitled women not getting the special treatment they so badly want. Now it's mostly just dickishness and violence.

If you want a feminists opinion, here's one: Fuck that bitch! Yeah, turns out that being in favor of treating men and women the same, also mean you loathe female abusers. It's pretty simple really: If you want women to receive special treatment, you're not a feminist. So, send her to the courts, judge her and throw her in jail for just as long as any man with the same record would be. Also, I hate how the r/feminism mods delete every post about this. Realizing that women and men can be equal…

Honestly, there are a number of posters here who are more like female incels than smart independent women who know what they want. Mostly this sub is pretty good, but the whole "men must be pay for everything ever at all times and men are all uniformly terrible" crowd is really too much for me too. Thankfully it's a minority. I'm totally with you on this. It took me a long time to find an actual mentally adult man who loves that I earn more, because it means we earn more! Someone who can say "do…

He mostly cleans, since he's way taller than me an can do ceilings and windows without needing a stool or ladder. He does floors because I loathe it. He makes bread and makes lunch for work because he likes it. I usually cook (80% ish) because I like it. I do laundry, we fold our own stuff. Our garden is uhhh... made for people who don't like gardening, and it's mutual suffering there. I do a little more there, because the herb garden is mine, and no touching!

It honestly has nothing to do with looks, and everything with attitude. My husband looks fine, but he's like... half a Hemsworth. That hardly matters though, since he takes care of himself, stays in shape, stays clean and healthy, is funny. Is smart. Is kind and caring and clever and honest and realizes we're equals. This a bunch of weird, and mostly wrong examples piled on top of eachother that completely ignores the fact that most sexual assault is not physically violent, and you completely misunderstand risk. Women don't generally get pulled off the street. The majority of rape is via manipulation and guilt. It happens, of course, but that's a minority of cases. Similarly, the streets around your house ARE more dangerous. They're full of turns, parking cars, pedestrians and sleepy commuters doing complex …

Walking home alone might be less safe, but we're not tallying the statistics this way. In the real world, most sexual assault and rape happens from people you know. Statistically speaking, you're much safer getting a ride from a perfect stranger than from your uncle.

You are entitled to some privacy and to only share your story with people you know and trust. Trust has to be earned. This is the key. Don't trust a random you've barely gotten to know. The whole point of dating is building familiarity and trust; you don't start at the end.

In case you are curious, statistically speaking, the police in the US don't really shoot people. 325 million Americans. 1000 shot to death by police every year. 17 million Dutch people. About 1 person shot to death by police every year.* So, comparatively, the US police shoots and kills a LOT of people really. About 50 times as many per capita. That's actually very normal for shopping malls and high-density business areas. If you have two women's hair salons already, adding another one would be bad for all three businesses, and bad for a fourth business who now isn't adding more usefulnes to that shopping area, AND to the whole area, because a shopping place with three hair salons isn't as useful as one with two salons and some other store. The barbershop probably got the place based on not competing with previously existing businesses…

indeed. The sidebar now shows: Oh and just so you know. The Nazis lost in WWII and they lost here. Any of that altright BS shows up here help us out and use the report button so we can deal with it.

Maybe in the us... here its no more valuable than spending the same time on a soccer team.

Maybe I'm biased. Other than highschool, nothing from before university is really on my resume. A >25 year old with "eagle scout " on his resume really only gets an eyeroll here, unless you're working with kids I guess.

You put the boyscouts on your resume? I can't imagine doing that unless you happen to apply for, say, climbing course instructor or something.

Of course! No TRUE Scotsperson would ever tweet something like that!

So, if you have a problem with that, either: A: Run for office. B: Get that 50.8% female majority to stop voting men into office.

Its long enough to tell each other the things that might be a problem in the long run.

Yeah, but at 2%, you can rake in 40k a year. And thats a very, very safe investment.

I could manage too, but neither of us has a "my wife is a celebrity" lifestyle ;-)

Neh, not enough to comfortably retire one. But that's 40k a year simply in interest (if you don't do do too well). Not great, but doable.

2M enough to retire on at age 30 if you can keep a house too

I just had another thought because of your post. If you market a "non-gendered" bottle, it'll be mostly bought by women. So, you only barely tap into the male market. So, you change your marketing. You put a slightly cheaper bottle on the market labelled "For Men", it has to be slightly cheaper, because male shampoo is obviously more utilitarian cause they don't need that fancy bullshit in women's shampoo. You'll go down a little in your profitmargin because you're selling the same thing for les…

Hasn't Head and Shoulders usually been marketed pretty heavily towards men? I don't recall any other shampoo advertising with male models, only women.

But you can do that yourself, right?

No we don't. Diva-cup all the way! 18 bucks, I've got a pair that I've been using for years.

So do men, btw. If women can meet the actual physical requirements (not the, you're-just-a-little-girl requirements currently set), they should be right there in combat.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
