They do this every time. I am starting my master in forensic psychology and dudes will tell me that I will be a bad therapist. Because they dont get the difference between literally judging someones mental health and helping someones mental health. They will literally start a fight over me telling them that I only learned about the bare minimum of clinical psychology, since "its psychology, you learn to do therapy, duh". I am done with fighting with idiots. I will laugh in their face and block them if they try to tell me something wrong about something I actually know lots about.

One time...ONE TIME my then-boyfriend tried to smack down my input on a subject related specifically to my profession. One he knows nothing of. I went off. Point blank told him, what the fuck do you think I sit around reading graduate level textbooks for in the evenings? For the funsies of it? He admitted he was being an ass and apologized.

Last week we were on the same trivia team and even though we fucking won he spent so much time mansplaining to me afterward.
