You just described one of the guys I asked out. I had your two guys in one. lol He was exactly as you said : anytime I'd pull away becaue he played hot and cold with me, he'd come back all lovey and as soon as I fell for it, he'd get cold again. It's depressing how long it took me to notice the pattern (I was also super young). And I was always the one planning our dates. Never once did he plan it himself. When I'd offer a meetup, do you know what his answer was? "If you want"... He didn't even …

Everytime I asked a guy out, his interest in me dropped instantly. I've seen men go from super interested, everyone telling me he was falling hard, to cold in an instant. As soon as you make the first step, they all lose interest. If a guy is not ready to take a little bit of risk to ask the girl he likes out, then he's not worth it in all honesty. It doesn't matter how handsome he is. The best advice I've taken from this sub is "It's not the egg that swims to the sperm". It's so accurate. All t…

What.. the.. what? I'm racist because.. what? This is just insane. And you say "us" but are you from an African country or are you American? You said you went to a school in Texas, where is that "us" coming from? Are you one of those americans that claim heritage from a place they've never been to? You are a white European, shut it and don’t speak for us with your generalizations. I don't believe all Africans are poor and suffer gender inequalities but to say to it's not one of the continent w…

The part that's economically struggling? Did you want me to make the list of the African countries that suffer poverty and economic challenges? Did you also want me to make the list of the countries with heavy gender inequalities? A lot would be on the list so I didn't think I needed to specify, I assumed it was ok to make a general statement. If you wanted to pick a fight about generalisation this isn't it. Sometimes generalisations aren't bigoted or wrong, they're just simplification and cutti…

- Joke about how it's the woman that carries the balls for the husband is edited because it can be taken as racist, and I understand how it might hurt some people - Joke aside, Africa is lucky to have african women. They're the future of this continent. As a white european, you inspire me women of Africa. Women of Senegal, women of Cameroon, women of Mauritania, women of Cote d'Ivoire, women of Nigeria, Lybian women, women of South Africa, women of Ethiopia and Kenya, women of Tanzania, women of…

It does change quite a bit actually. I think it ignores a lot of the nuances. Security implies there is going to be enough and healthy food on the table vs money means there is going to be an 8 course meal, served at the most expensive restaurant in town. Security implies comfort, while money implies excess. Ok, so you mean women don't necessarily want millionaires, just guys that are financially stable. Yeah I agree. At the end of the day, you are still considering the financial security in p…

It’s not that women care less about sex than men, it’s just that women care less about sex compared to security. Ok, I see how that makes more sense. The idea that women care more about money security. I think you’re so wrapped in wanting to disprove the original content about money. You’re ignoring the modification I made. At this point, you are arguing a strawman here. Security is the word! As I said it’s both financial and emotional security. As far as financial security, it can mean a guy …

Yeah, but I don't agree with it being a general thing. I think it's confirmation bias and survival of outdated sexist stereotypes. The idea that women care less than men about sex is outdated but men refuse to face it. The idea that women care more about money than anything else is every delusional rich man's dream but reality is women are making their own fortunes now. I think people look at social dynamic with their own bias. But if you tell any man they could only have one, sex or emotional…

Ok, so I read your edit and the thing is, when men say we want money they mean just that. I was arguing with their bullshit argument. As for your idea that women want financial and emotional security, well yeah. But so do men. Just as much as us if not more. Porn has destroyed men's mind so much that they go their whole life with something missing and they don't know what it is. Men try to fix their loneliness with sex and porn because they were never socialised to seek companionship the way wom…

I really disagree. I don't need men to get money, I make my own. Money is a small part of my life and my life does not revolve around it more than it needs. I will never ever put myself in a situation where I depend financially on anyone but myself. Dirt poor men bitching about gold diggers can relax, I'm not after their money any more than I'm after their subpar dick. If sex is all that men wanted, I would have given up long ago on their company. It turns out they do need more than sex and I'd …

Oh, there is definitely such a thing as "too much internet". haha! I Have to keep myself from falling down rabbit holes too. There's so much depravity on the internet, it's sickening. I recently decided to spend less time online and spend more time reading. Ok, I understand. Thanks for explaining. I know nothing about anime and the trends associated with it (thank god) so I'm just going to trust your judgement here. Ok, it's interesting to know her history. But today she looks fine though. You arguing that she still looks like a 12 year old and I'm just not seeing it. Her history as an anorexic doesn't really change what she looks like today. I'm totally unfamiliar with anime, so I can't really judge her looks based on that universe. However, the photo you shared isn't the photo of a childlike bodied woman. She's very thin, yes but thin ≠ child like. A lot of women looks like her and it's a bit insulting to…

Well, you say you don't mean it literally and was only describing her childlike attitude but then you go on to say she has an "underdeveloped" childlike body. I'm sorry, but I don't see it. She looks young, yeah. But not underdeveloped. She's thin, yeah. But not in an unusual way. She's absolutely not stick thin (unless maybe by modern american standards), and she would have been considered normal 40 years ago. I don't see "no curves", I just see "no kardashian-like" curves. police officers often use silence as an interrogation technique. Say nothing and the suspect spills everything, because the pressure is too much. Hey, that's right. I never thought of it. Yeah, I've noticed this with a guy that negged me once. Giving women the fear of aging and the notion that they are worthless as they age was only a diversion for men to distract from the fact that they age much faster and become irrelevant much sooner than us. It's projection at its finest.

Yeah, it's always the best answer because it's always the one that makes them the most uncomfortable. When you justify, you lose (this goes beyond dating by the way). Best answer : no answer. When you stay silent, it forces them to self reflect or at least to feel self conscious. If you answer, he wins because you're giving him attention and you're taking attention away from his own neediness or lameness (which is way too kind). Whereas when you stay silent, they're stuck with the last thing they said or wrote and that eats at them because they see how cringey it is. I've always heard the "being emotional" stereotype associated with periods was a myth. A study showed that where period stereotypes didn't exist (amazonian tribes for examples), women did not report having them. In my country it's not a big stereotype and myself and all my female friends (and mother) were never more emotional when on our period. Yeah, it's a weird story. It's common sense that these boys are racist arsholes and that this girl needed to be defended. Why does he even question it? In my country, these guys would get a 2 week ban from school at the very least. But I've never witnessed this kind of racism in a classroom when I was a student so I'm not even sure how high the. I think you're right, this guy could be virtue signaling. You're right to stay away from guys like this. I've heard black people (men and women) can be …

You mean as in black guys are worried black women might prefer men of other "races"? Could it also be a case of internalised racism that's projected on to women (because it's coupled with misogyny)?

This is the third time I'm reading about black women having trouble with black men. I'm white and I'm not american so I'm not really familiar with the dynamics between ethnic groups in America (in my country, there is less of a breaking up into different groups). But this is the third time I'm reading something like this, what the fuck is wrong with guys?! Edit : Rereading it, I'm wondering if this is fake. It seems a little "too perfect" like fanfiction writting.

Yeah, that's why giving a chance to these men is useless. They don't make our lives better, just worse. Life isn't always rosie in the garden and when it gets rough, you want someone that can handle it. A guy that freaks out like that is not someone you want to live with. Yeah, we're supposed to pretend getting the right to vote means we're essentially men now. As if our rights should come at a price. I had guys argue with me that wanting a chivalrous man that opens doors and is protective meant I wasn't a feminist. No guys, I really am a feminist. And I'm also a STRAIGHT woman. Men like pretty women and women like resources to invest in their or their offspring's future, hobbies, health and beauty. Well, yeah but these women also like pretty men. Anna Nicole Smith didn't have her kids with the 89 year old she married. Women care about looks too. I personally, care more about looks than anything else. I don't know, maybe we have different definition of "no makeup look". To me the no makeup look is looking fresh and healthy with the least amount of makeup (no visible foundation, only mascara with maybe just a bit of brown eyeshadow at the eyelash base, blush and that's it). That's my "no makup look". I don't think there is anything wrong with spending time making yourself pretty while trying to make it look effortless. It's so good to be here and meet likeminded women! I love the way you think. That's story is very interested and says so much about how much we internalise "looking good = feeling good". It's very important to be able to analyse our own behavior like this. But as you said people can get defensive. I love this sub because I don't notice this kind of defensiveness here. Everyone seems opened to different opinions and don't take things personally.

Put your mind at rest, these men always come with many redflags. It's just that some women don't know how to detect redflags yet or refuse to see they're there. Don't for one second think these guys can play you. If you have high standards and know what behavior is appropriate and what isn't, these guys can't play you.

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy16/01/20 08:36 PM
6

Yes, you're right. But we can't improve ourselves if we are blind to what we do. That's why it's important for us to be honest about this type of behavior. You're right when you said it is our conditionning, we are so focused on our looks that we completely internalise it to the point of not being aware of it anymore. But the harm of our conditionning is still there wether or not we are aware of it.

Yes, me too! It just always seems a bit hypocritical to me. Just because we don't do it for guys doesn't mean we do it for non superficial reasons. It always seems dishonnest when people phrase it that way. I get what they're saying, yes we enjoy those things, but we do it because we care about our appearance (which is natural).

I see people here advising you to befriend her. I'd be wary of that too. You have no idea maybe they both get something out of keeping their friendship ambiguous. Just because she's a woman, doesn't mean you can trust her aswell. Maybe she'll play nice on front of you and totally flirt with him behind your back.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy16/01/20 06:38 PM
66

Yes. I would anyway. If he texted her as much as you, it would still be concerning but MORE than you?! Yeah, I can totally understand why you'd find that problematic. You text a lover a lot, a 10 year old friend : no. He should be texting her a lot less than you. 6 months is still the honeymoon phase but even if it was 6 years.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy16/01/20 05:09 PM

And then the woman is gaslit by everyone around her if she is anything but supportive of her husband "wonderful journey to his true self". That's why so many transgender men are narcissists, they found a way to get away with it. If the wife so much as wants to prioritise her wellbeing, her feelings she's shouted at for being unsupportive or transphobic. When the trans thing fades, they'll find something else to bully women into compliance with.

I have to respectfully disagree here. I find that to be a half truth. It's true that women enjoy makeup and fashion because it makes them feel good and men are foolish to think it's to attract them. In my personal experience, it's men that overestimate how good looking they are. It's to the point that my friends and I know that if a guy describes himself as "average" they're going to be pretty unattractive. Take a walk outside and you'll see plenty of average guys are happily married or in relationships. The key thing to understand though is that their partners are rarely supermodels, they usually are average in looks too and the same age as them. Rome is far from being a "first civilisation" though. If you look at the whole time the human race has been present, Rome is actually very recent history. But, yes. In Rome, monogamy was the norm. Men could get away with cheating while women were killed for it but the whole society was built on a family unit made of a man and a woman. Open concubinage was only accepted (but still criticised) among the ruling elites. In fact, when political men wanted to eliminate an adversary, accusing him of wa…

Patriarchy weakens our species genetically. Patriarchy prevents female sexual selection, which is essentials for the production of a new healthy generation. Look at the amount of disabled (both mentally and physically) children in countries where forced marriage is the norm. How do you think we got into a patriarchal society in the first place? The whole core of patriarchy is about keeping female sexual selection under control. Forced marriage, taking the husband's name, adultery severely punished for women, the whole concept of (female) virginity, men's psychosis around paternity testing, there isn't a single thing in patriarchal societies that does not go back to the idea men can't handle having to compete for women. You're wrong ig you assume women don't want novelty, lol. Big mistake. I remember reading a study saying women's libido doesn't go down after having a baby if they get a new partner. The theory they proposed was the idea that women don't care about sex after having kids is outdated and the idea that women don't seek novelty has to be reviewed. Basically, women are less enthusiastic about sex with their current partner but lusty for a new one. The evolutionary explanation behind this makes totall…

Why do you think I'm mad? lol You lack self awareness, I do know something about you because I can read what you're saying. And this is where you're incredibly naive if you think the way you speak about women and sex doesn't reveal what kind of person you are and what kind of life you have. Your view of love, sex and relationships is so distorted that it's pointless for me to even argue to your last sentence.

I highlighted what stands out the most in what you're saying. You're pretty clear about how you view sexuality and women. Which means it's also pretty transparent how you came about those beliefs, it doesn't take a genius to analyse where you're coming from. lol There is no challenging to be done, you're entitled to your opinion. I'm not sure I'd be disgusted if my bf called me hot at 15. I'd assume he makes the comment from his 15 year old self perspective. It's like when I saw picture of my ex when he was 8, I thought "Oh, he was hot even as a kid!". I can safely say I'm NOT a pedophile, but I was thinking two things. It's a stereotype for a reason. I never said sexually active men don't hold regressive views, I meant that the probabilities of them spending time online to put down a woman for being a woman is lower. Men that are bitter for being virgins do spend an insane amount of energy trying to put down women. I'm just poking fun at that pattern. This is just a "man going his own way" type of fantasy, it's a revenge fantasy where women lose their power. This woman he's talking about does not exist, only in his mind. She's a figure that represents how powerless he feels that women : - can cheat (hence why he focuses on virginity and paterntity testing) - are the ones carrying babies (hence why he treats her as a brood mare) - are attractive (which is why he made her look like a model) - can make their own life decision and weed out losers…

This corner stone of patriarchy is really damaging to our species if you think about it, because is eliminates female choice. I always said this. Thousands of years of controlling female sexual selection must have had a few consequences. Absolutely and this is why women have different tastes. This is what low value men…

I disagree, age matters tremendously. If we were talking about people in their 30's then yes, no marriage after 5 years could be a bad sign. But no marriage after 5 years from people in their late 20's is not a redflag. At least, not where I come from. Where I come from people are considered foolish for marrying in their 20's. You're right high value men don't probe. But they are open to hearing you talk about your past. I think if a guy asks, that in itself is enough of a redflag. But in a healthy relationship, a man should be able to handle the fact that you were sexualy active before him. Which is why I don't see the point of hiding. I think it might have more to do with the fact there will always be more thirsty desperate men than thirsty desperate women. I'm small boobied but I hear from my big breasted friends that the type of attention they get with their breasts is the kind they'd gladly do without. Unfortunately. So, I don't think you can really compare. I think women will always get more attention than men of her equivalent level of attractiveness. Men are not always as picky as they like to claim. Another thing, wome…

Honestly, there's more to attraction that just simple things like usefulness of fertility. Of course, it's to be taken in account. I like young, strong guys because in the back of my head, my reptilian brain thinks they're the best mates for reproduction. But the truth is, I fall in love with smile and eye contact. You keep referring to "old men" with a tone of contempt and say you're not desperate enough to "dig up graves." Again I wouldn't say 10 to 15 years is a narrow window. Fertility slowly declines at 30, it doesn't drop dramatically. I've had a guy once hit on us (my group of 19 year old friends) while in a bar, he was 38 and got rejected by each and every one of us after trying to get us seperately throughout the night. He still waxed poetry about how young women love older men to his group of friends. Sometimes they just make up stories to tell their friends and then their friends just have to one up that story, that's how they end up enabling each other's fantasies.

I don't know where you are from but I live in western Europe. Women in long term relationship with slightly younger men are not rare. And young women in long term relationship with older men are extremely rare. I have no idea what you're talking about. In Paris, women that are deemed the most attractive ARE NOT in their 20's, they're in their 30's and 40's. I've been rejected many times as teenagers because men wanted slightly older women. Even my fucking president is with a woman 20 years older…

My point exactly.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/19 06:08 PM

Again you didn't say they'll find different men desirable. You said they'll find men more desirable. Young women like guys their age no more/no less than older women find men their age desirable. This is about as delusional as the trpers claiming they're beating off younger woman with a stick. Of these two categories, which ones spend the most time on the internet bitching about not getting sexual attention?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/19 06:07 PM
3

So 40 year old men are more attractive to you when you are 40, than a 22 year old was when you were 22. Ok, it's just your personal experience. I haven't heard of or noticed that trend at all. I do believe women get more sexual as they age, though. Uh, yes. Young women are attracted to guys their age. Which means when they are neoteenies they are attracted to neoteenies.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/19 06:04 PM

Waking up old men to reality is not pushing a narrative, lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/19 05:59 PM

Yes, because they chose to see the 25 year old their friend in his 50's is paying for sex and use that to hold on to the idea that young women will throw themselves at them. I'm not saying guys can't find example of it happening, I'm saying they are delusional when they use exceptions to come up with a rule. They see it more because they want to see it more.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/19 05:57 PM
6

Yes, it's a reality for 1% of older men. It's a fantasy for the other 99% that try to push the narrative. And I said, older people DO see it because they are more likely to be delusional about what they can get. This is my personal experience talking after meeting hundreds of these men.

I'm naturally nice, smiley and social so unfortunately I had to learn to do what you said the hard way. Hahaha, that's a funny story and I know what you mean. 40 year old women have different priorities than 22 year old women. Yes, different priorities don't mean they'll find men more or less attractive. I still don't understand. Men dating at 22 have more competition than men dating at 40 Nope. I'm approaching 30 and I never received more attention, much more than when I was 19. Or it's because people see what they want to see. As a young woman I've rejected tons of older men who were delusional enough to believe they had a chance, I've personally witnessed all of my female friends do the same and this is a joke among many young women. What we've noticed is that old men are convinced that the myth is grounded in reality and truly have trouble understanding why we're rejecting them. You said a 40 year old man is more desirable to a 40 year old woman than a 22 year old man is to a 22 year old women. You seemed to be implying that men grow more attractive to their peers as they age. There's no reason a 22 year old man would be less attractive to a 22 year old women.

Not in my experience. It's normal to feel a sense of belonging with peers your own age, growing in the same decade brings people together. It's also normal to feel a bit alienated with people that didn't experience the same thing as we do. I feel closer to people that like me, are old enough to remember the world pre internet but are still young enough to have grown up with it. Yes, and I've seen women say having children simply made them realise that they didn't want to be mothers. Sometimes, it's a simple and sad reason. Everytime I meet a guy that's a lot older than me... I just can't. I can't get myself to waste my youth on someone who is even only 6 years older than me. I rather be with someone my age or slightly younger. Being with older guys ages you prematurely. It doesn't matter if they take care of themselves or not, they still have 10 years ahead of me in terms of life experience. You meet people halfway (at best) which means you age yourself 5 years and he youngers himself 5. I just can't. I want someo…

I don't know about this. Poor women had higher death rates, so it's not so much that they were healthier. It's more that the ones that weren't died quicker. And when a poor woman died it went more unnoticed. The "woman are weak" is nothing new. It's always been there in most western societies. I think as usual the simple explanation is the most likely. Humans observed that female humans had less physical strenght than male humans, and so ancient societies started building a whole set of beliefs …

- A partner shouldn't have to educate you. You're both adults. And to me, that is definitely a redflag. If it happened more than once, I'd be out the door. But then again, he is right that being on the phone during dinner is really rude and immature. So I'm a bit divided here. It really depends on how it happens. - Coming home in the cold and having your boyfriend not propose to pick you up when he can is a bit concerning too. I'm european (french) and I don't know if it's normalised. Most people where I am would agree that at that age a difference of 5 years is HUGE. I like my men to have the same sexuality as me which is "being strictly attracted to the opposite sex". Maybe it makes me a homophobe, but I don't care. People are free to sleep with whoever they want and I truly don't give a fuck. But I'm also free to not sleep with them. I'm not interest in men that have homosexual tendencies and that's it.

There are cultures that are worse than other when it comes to women's rights, this is a fact. Cultural relativism is cancer. In Yemen, there are 10 year old girls that have to have sex with adults. Is he going to go to prison for marrying a child? No? Then, that means the government condones pedophilia. End of story. Come back to me when western countries allow children to be raped legally. Whenever I am on a date with a man and he starts to shit on the women in his country because they are "too feminist" or "dont take good care of themselves" I know immediately there will be no next date. hahahah! Yeah... I've met these guys.

Aaah yeah, of course if it's to install a hierarchy it's never good. The example I had in mind wasn't that though. It was comparing cultural practices which can be done without saying one is above the other.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy04/12/19 11:43 PM

You don't think you can spot differences between cultures when you go out with foreigners or live in another country? Because I know I have noticed differences. Of course, it's impossible to generalise but there are cultural traits that I notice as a trend. I'm from a double cutlure (my two parents are from two different countries) and my boyfriend is from a third country, so I defnitely notice differences in ways of thinking, solving problems, expressing problems ect... I notice differences in …

The problem isn't that the revenge cheating was wrong towards her cheating boyfriend. The problem was that the revenge cheating was unhealthy for her. Throwing yourself into sex with (possibly a stranger) is never good in terms of physical security as well as emotionally. At least, I know it wouldn't be good for me so I'm projecting this onto her. She owed her ex boyfriend zero, she owed herself self respect. And if she expressed no awareness of why that was a bit reckless, I would too have left…

I'd even generalise and say it's a bad sign any time a man puts down any kind of women. It's fine for a guy to compare a little and say "hey, french women are more like this. Italian women are more like that". But to say "X women are trash" is always a redflag. There's a difference between the two. Good guys never need to denigrate any kind of woman, I find. Guys with grudges are never good news.

I think I would have left her aswell if she was a man I was dating. Not in the same way the guy did but the once thing that stands out the most in what she said is this : I found myself telling him things I couldn't even tell my therapist, let alone a partner. She seems to have a lot of baggage and I couldn't handle that. The revenge cheat would be another redflag to me depending on how long ago that was and how much they've matured since. Cheating on cheater isn't a problem, but it might si…

I've been there too. That's why I'm telling you that if you feel something, it's because there is something. It could be something as simple as body language that your eye is picking up on a subconscious level. When a guy looks perfect but you can't feel him, it's because there is something wrong. Maybe it's lack of attraction on your part or maybe it's something more sinister. In my personal case, through talking to him, I found out that the nice guy really was the opposite of a nice guy. He lo…

And sometimes, for some reason, the guy can seem perfectly nice and we still don't feel it. Sometimes we can't pinpoint why, but something feels off. That's why it's super important to learn to trust our instinct because we're pretty good with it. It's important to shut out all the other voices (yours included) telling you you're being unreasonable or not logical. Trust your gut. =)

Always trust your gut reaction. You're not feeling it, don't go against that. You're not unreasonable, I wouldn't go on a holidays with a guy I met not so long ago. I'd go with a new boyfriend that I trust but not some guy I just met. I feel a bit prudish as well, but I just don’t want to go from 0 to 100 with someone I really don’t know that well either. So what if you're prudish? It's only an insult salty guys throw at women for saying no to their dick. Women throw that insult too to other w…

That woman is so lucky. That loser dropped her and she didn't have to lift a finger. It's so funny that he misses her support the most and wishes she would mature and realise her mistake. Oh, oh, I think not my man. And I'm willing to bet that breaking up just before college wasn't a coincidence either. No, it's not snooping around because when you are in a relationship with someone you're entitled to know about this person. That means what goes on on his phone or his computer. It's perfectly reasonable. I have no problem with my boyfriend looking into my phone or my computer because even the stuff I could potentially be embarassed about I'd be ok with showing him. He's my boyfriend, not a stranger. A partner should know everything about you. It's fine to not say every single detail of your lif…

I would tell you to drop him. You've been ignoring a lot of redflags, trust yourself more. 1 - Takes too much time to respond. hours are fine, we're all busy. But days? No way. It shows a lack of interest. As you said when you fancy someone, you make time. This is where you should drop the man. 2 - He speaks about himself never wants to know about you. Walk away. 3 - He used to apologise and now stopped. He is intelligent enought to be aware that what he was doing wasn't nice but then he stopped…

If I was in your place, this is what I would have done : "Don't worry about it." And then never respond anything else ever. It basically puts him at ease, keeps a cordial front and it's a way of turning the relationship back to its professional state (the one it should have never left really). "Don't worry about it." means literally there is nothing for him to worry about, you will be the professional coworker that you are and you will move on without a problem. And that's the thing. There is no…

This is incredibly good advice. It's like we're all stuck with stockholm syndrom and believe it should be fine for a guy to be secretive and we're being unreasonable. If a guy is reluctant to show his phone or his computer, he's got something to hide. It's not even worth finding out what it is, the guy should be dropped immediately. If history is squicky clean, that's also strange. My biggest concern isn't even cheating honestly. I just want to see what kind of pornography he's looking at and at…

O.M.G... You did very well by staying longer to try to talk him out of it. Whatever "it" was. This is an extreme redflag. I'm looking at videos on youtube for fun on "statement analysis" where experts analysis the statement of parents of missing children to find out what happened to them. In many cases, it doesn't long to read between the lines and see the parents killed the child. We naturally feel something is off when someone says something wrong, but we can't really point out what it is exac…

Don't be scared. If you learn to be strong and happy with yourself, without needing a guy, you'll be fine. When you learn to be self relient, you automatically raise your standards and that's always a good thing. I've noticed patterns in the guys I meet too and I noticed that I can change those patterns by first aknowledging they're there and then by focusing on the opposite quality I want to attract and forgetting about it. So for example, if I keep meeting commitment phobic men, I'll say "Ok, …

haha, yeah I would walk away too. It's fine to have a preference, but there's no need to denigrate. Any man that puts down other women as a way to compliment me will end the evening on his own. I can't stand cruelty in any form. Oh and while I'm at it, putting down other men is also a redflag to me. It reeks of lack of self confidence and that's never a good sign.

I think they're trying to artificially add value to their profile by appearing picky. A little bit like how you can sell a shit quality t shirt for 100euro and (foolish) people will think it's a luxury item. I really doubt their tactic works, except with the poor women that desperately want male attention and play the "not like other girls" card.

Exactly, I have yet to find it used in a way that doesn't reinforce that. It never fails to make me laugh everytime I see a poor loser talk about how his sperm is so precious and he needs to spread his seed or else humanity will fail. It's self agrandizing mental masturbation. Truth is, for most of the animal kingdom, it's female sexuality that dictates the evolution of species. We select the individual worth reproducing with. I had to cut friends like that out of my life. Eventually, I just realised that true friends should give me sound advice. It's one thing to have friends trying to sort out how things work and might not be in the best position to give great advice. But after a certain age (I'm in my late 20's), I can't be friends with self destructing people that advise me to do the same. I feel much better when I surrounds myself with people (both male and female) that respect themselves and look out for me too.…

I absolutely hate how there’s this completely unnecessary hierarchy of high value-low value women in this sub. And these self proclaimed “high value” FDS women like to assert their superiority over these other women, and hence are more suitable for “high value men.” Barf. I do see that aswell. I just don't understand why. Women here should be DELIGHTED not to be like those women anymore, if anything we should pity them not trash them. The only thing I do understand is the frustration when one girl comes here trying to advocate for her trashy partner and make excuses for him. That's very irritating. But the ones that choose lowly guys and don't bother us? It's up to them, to each their own..

I'm new here but it rings wrong to me too. I'm all for empowering women and sharing the wisdom each and everyone of us has gathered through the years (often the hard way). I love having a place to hear advice from wiser women and being able to see younsters come here to learn and not make the same mistakes I made. But I'm not ready to take a shit on another woman. If only. If only those redpilled losers would come here to find out what would truly make them stand out in the sea of men we have to chose from. I don't like the evolutionary stuff. It's still very male oriented. People forget the part where women also enjoy having multiple partners and are not necessarily looking for "the one". I've seen a study recently that showed women don't lose interest in sex after having a baby, they lose interest in sex with their current partner after having a baby. It made scientist wonder if there isn't also a drive for women (as it is widely believed for men) to seek multiple partners and not put all their e…

I adopted a different strategy because I've noticed men feel entitled when they pay. The amount of guys that genuinely expect sex after having paid for dinner is insane. I even had one almost tell me "but I paid for.." and just stopped himself barely in time. I'll usually offer to pay and when met with assertive refusal, I'll let them pay. If they let me pay, I make a mental note of this. If they don't let me pay at least they know it's not because I'm grateful but because they insisted.
