| 60 | What is confidence?Lurker here, had a drink so gonna post for the first time. Confidence is knowledge that you can do something. It's earned through successful repetition. Case in point, I'm a junior doctor. In my country, it falls to us to cannulate patients - that is, shove a needle into their veins so they can get meds, fluids, you name it. It's a bit harder than just taking blood because you have to slide a thin plastic tube off the needle into the vein.
