My wife is owning her part. Just as my mother is owning hers.

Never personally encountered someone this evil.

When I talked to her, she said I should get even, and she was willing to help.

I'm not sure what the term actually is. Maybe swinging might be the closest

Rationally, I know she is not mine. But I love her all the same. Love is rarely rational.

Wish I had a clear path forward. Seems that no matter what I do, someone has to make a sacrifice.

Hey, I just wanted you to know I am spending time with my daughter. She has so many questions I can't answer. All I told her was that I love her and will always be here for her. All I can do right now.

I have been her dad the whole time. Have been spending time with her without my wife around. It has been rough her asking why to so many things. I have no answer to.

So, telling this guys wife will be a waste of time and just cause me more damage.

Was more like an explanation. Why? She was 20 at the time and was curious about their lifestyle and got drawn into it for about 2 weeks before she realized what she was doing and changed her boundaries accordingly. Guess that covers the how and how long too. She thought the baby was mine until she turned 3 or so. She noticed her eye and nose structure resembled his.

Sorry, I have been lost in my own thoughts and returned to work last night at midnight, being punished for taking 3 weeks off

Sorry, I was in shock for about 2 weeks. I just fell off the grid . Have been looking for lawyers and with the holidays have just been keeping to myself. I'm trying to come to grips with my new reality

No, she never told him it . What occurred between them was years ago. And was a huge mistake her words.

I'm not sure if that is an option at the moment. She wholeheartedly believes we can survive this and remain a family. And we just need to work through this. I think my wife is delusional or something.

These are some of the questions I asked. Why did you do it? Are you in love with your affair partner? Why did you have his child? What made him approach me the way he did? Does he want in his child's life? What makes you think you have any hope for reconciliation? Knowing what you know, would you forgive me if I did something similar? Be honest If I wanted an open marriage, would you agree to it? Why or why not? Who else knew of your affair?

He was a friend of my brothers. And my brother is on my side, I believe.

So, I was banned for a few days and was unable to respond. I am in no mental state to be her dad right now. And I know she is just another victim in this as well. And yes, I have a bond with her, which is a source of most of my pain. So I have to choose either to sacrifice myself and any possible happiness and be her dad. Or save myself and divorce her mom and leave them behind me. Unless you can come up with a better option?

Got banned from reddit for a while. Didn't lose my job. Met with a lawyer. My parents keep trying to get me and my wife to talk this out. I am still avoiding her to the best of my ability. She has been by every day after work with her daughter trying to see me. And I just can't.

Her company had thier office holiday party on a night I was actually able to go. And had one of her colleagues introduce himself while my wife wasn't standing next to me. My daughter had his eyes and nose. And the way he greeted me was creepy and just set my gut off.

During my ban from reddit I have gotten a lawyer. I didn't lose my job, my boss gave me half pay personal leave until the 2nd. My parents are still pushing for reconciliation, but I am not able to do that.

She was waiting at my parents. Her daughter was at her parents, it seemed. I was in no state to deal with her. She attempted to hug me, and when I rebuffed, she fell to her knees, holding on my legs. My parents took her home. I passed out in their guest room.

Well, you were partially correct , she was at my parents' house when we got there. She was 100% devastated, but she didn't do the darvo thing. She basically threw herself at my feet in a blubbering mess. Was in no shape to deal with her and asked her repeatedly to leave. My parents drove her and her car home. And passed out in thier guest room.

Still all over the place, angry one moment crying the next. I'm not too happy with my mom right now she called my wife and told her I was with them.

I don't see any possibility of a future with her. I have never hated someone like I do her right now. Why I left I was scared what I might do. I have never hit a woman but wasn't sure I would be able to control myself.

You're right. I felt better just getting it out.

I am sitting in the back of my parents' car getting a lecture. Bad part of being a pastors kid.

That's something, at least. I'm just waiting for my parents to arrive and the lecture to begin.

She does now, being I ghosted my job. And yes, I thought she was 100% mine. So, I took full responsibility for her.

Just don't know what to do. I feel like I am just bumping around in the dark. And yes, it's only been 2 weeks since I left and already hate myself. Should just go play in traffic.

Guess I should call my parents, maybe let them know I am alive and what's going on. I am so ashamed that I am this stupid and gullible. God this hurts so bad.

I can't even look at her face without seeing my wife's asshole coworker. It's eating me up inside.

I am sure I have pretty much lost everything. Even had thoughts of just ending myself yesterday. What I am doing now is just putting a motel room over my head and 30 bucks a day to survive on. Spent a few days sleeping on the streets. Feel asleep, hoping not to wake up.
