I wonder if the Y and Scouts and the other men run organizations are just better than their female counterparts. Hence the reason the traffic only seems to go in one direction

This is a great cartoon. Speaks volumes. However to more accurately represent my life I would like to see a daughter, son, and wife all lined up each needing pieces and the father giving them to each one, again looking like he is missing peices

Days off you just start making yourself unavailable. When she starts to complain, and she will because you are taking away your time. Not the other way around. you happily suggest that she go hang out with friend. Sorry. I'll edit. I mean unavailable. You find better things to do.

My wife drinks. But she always, always ensures that I know she is with me, and always comes home to me. She knows if she strayed her shit would be on the curb. OP she has all power in the relationship. You have given it to her.

What country are you in? I'm in Canada, in the western culture dancing is great for meeting people. Generally women will associate how well you dance with how well you fuck, at least subconsciously. That being said, you can dance, or not dance, it's up to you. But being able to dance definitely Increases you ability to meet and pickup girls.

Own it. Girls like confidence. You introduce yourself as the weird awkward guy, make jokes about it. The less serious you take yourself the more confidence it shows you have. Now, other guys and even girls are going to try to shit test you too. Don't let it rattle you, it's a good to have some witty comebacks for when they make shitty comments. How you handle those shit tests is up to you.

Wait till said friend is getting handsy with one of the other girls in the group and not your LTR. Point it out make a comment like: "I cant believe any girl would allow him to be like that. She must have really low self esteem to allow him to disrespect her like that. Im sure glad you aren't like that, I couldn't be with someone who allows such disrespect"

As a men's rights advocate you need to fight for the message you want to send. Just like feminism the overly hateful become the loudest and it becomes seen as a movement for hate. So what the supporters of both MR and feminism need to do is shut down those "haters" quickly so their message is muted.

Someone else had a response for a similar question. It was something like "My wife/girlfriend does not ......" So in this case you just keep repeating "my girlfriend does not sleep at other guys house" And incase you missed it, what is implied here is that it is her choice, but if she does she forfeits the girlfriend title. Ie; breakup

I would think that being comfortable with whatever turns you on/gets you off that is legal is as alpha as you can be. People on here are going to continually chant workout. But this is about lifestyle and making changes to get you into a position of weight training. I know how you feel to have no energy and no desire to take care of yourself. The simplest tasks like cooking are hard. To help rectify this you need to take baby steps. So it's alpha to ridicule her and make her feel like she can't fix stuff too? /sarcasm A real man would have led her and worked with her to fix it. Made her feel good about trying those things but remembering that she can come to her man if she struggles

The rational male has a good article called "giving her best". I think you should read it. I agree. I also think it is a balance. Both me and my wife owe it to ourselves and each other to be the best version of ourselves. I am very new at this so take my advice with a grain of salt. I would confirm that the date does coincide with your cheating window. Sit her down (because couples still talk and communicate). Ask her when you both became exclusive. Then ask her when that wedding was. Then tell her that you know she slept with him then. That is cheating. Then get up and go to the gym. Let her hamster spin off that fucking wheel.

First off, a bunch of internet strangers throwing random durations of cheating/not cheating cutoffs is arbitrary. You need to decide what you think is cheating and go with that. As far as MRP standard operating protocol goes, that is tough, i think many guys first response is to "next" her tegardless. But that is difficult. If you are willing to forgive and accept her action, if it was cheating, I am pretty sure that this would give you a bump in the dread level with her. If you can maintain fra…

I'm going to go against the grain of the advice on this sub. And yes it is true that I did just post angry at her. But a few years ago I went from almost a dead bedroom situation to having it 2-3 times weekly. I sat down with her when we are both calm and said something along the lines of: "I love you and want to be with you. But I am not sexually happy. when I initiate you turn me down and you never initiate. You have no idea what it does to my ego. I want to be with you, and whatever you need …

It makes me sad that "feminists" who are all about "equality" and removing of gender rolls do not see how wide spread the inequality is when it comes to these kinds of issues. I would support feminism again if the loudest voices started agreeing with some of the messages of the MRM

When she realized that it wasnt working making you jealous she came back. Or he turned out to be a massive cunt. Then she realized why she left and did again. She got tired of living by your rules. You either now have to shit and get married or get off the pot. PS. She fucked him.

I would encourage all men to sign this. Particularly men who belong to this sub. I have heard numerous times from women that the MRM is nothing but a reactionary group of men who do nothing for actual change. Here is the opportunity to prove them wrong. Effect positive change. Get other people to sign. Approach feminists and ask to sign. Of any group they should support this.

I agree it is a derivative for sure. But the RP philosophy of how women think works very well in your marriage, it is just less focused on picking women up and spinning plates, and more to do with being able to manage the constant shit tests.

How to handle this? Stop whining about having a shitty mother. Stop putting your shortcomings on her. Sure you may or may not have a shit deal (hard to tell without examples) but what does sitting here going "my mom was shit" do for anyone? Not to mention there are a lot of perfectly normal people that were raised by one parent (mom or dad) to use as examples. It's not the ideal situation, but again, you don't tell us for the reason your mom was alone.

MGTOW is the idea that men will not follow the current societal expectations of pairing off with a woman. They will simply live their own life for their own happiness. But it also attracts a lot of shit posters who just hate on women. In a way it is understandable the hate they have. You would have to develop some pretty negative feelings to turn your back on one of societies most perpetuated social norms of pairing off. But whatever the reason each guy here has, that is the general idea. MGTOW …

I think whatbwe are seeing is a huge social dynamic change. For the better, maybe, for the worse, maybe. How things are going to look in 20-30 years will be interesting. I would caution you on making broad generalizations. At best this discussion could provide some anecdotal talking points. That being said, it would make sense that people who have had bad events as a child at the hands of a male for this discussion, or never had a strong positive male role model would most definitely have different points of view on that gender.

It's interesting. Your post made me think. My perspective is that you make it sound like a difficult game for the girl to play and that at the end you are her prize. The illusion comes from you making it sound like not many girls win this prize, you have to be good to win. I wonder if it taps into the primal brain we all have that we want what we think we can't have.

Ghosting is something I am on the fence with. I can see it as a necessary evil in a world where we completely plugged in and have multiple Avenues of communication. However, I do not think that every situation (including the one the author talks about) deserves ghosting. If you just want out of the relationship the other person deserves to Know. You watch any fight, any fight, and when the fighter stops showing that they are in control of their actions the ref steps in. The phrase is "intelligently defending yourself". It doesn't matter if the ref or the fighters are men or women. I am not really sure what your point is. This is a combat sport, many people enjoy doing it.
/r/MensRights02/01/17 04:55 PM

If you don't understand the sport you should not be commenting on it. Men and women athletes doing this know the risks and the women are treated exactly the same as men. In fact, I would be willing to say that MMA (UFC) does not even care about the sex of the fighter. If their ass sells PPV then they get paid more. Man or woman it doesn't matter. Looking for men's rights issues where there are none is like feminists looking for women's issues where there are none. Stay objective
/r/MensRights02/01/17 04:31 PM

I have firmly believed that men have suffered in silence because we were willing too for many years. We consciously rationalized it in our heads that this was our role in life. We had our roll and women had their role. Now that society has changed we are no longer accepting that our suffering is acceptable. It is also why you see a decline in the amount of men wanting to get married. We no longer see marriage as a benefit to us.

Have you ever been in a group of guys and one guy doesn't understand a concept or topic? All the guys rag on him and then "dumb it down for him". Men don't "mansplain" they dumb it down when a person doesn't understand. We do some friendly ribbing and then get on with everything else. I agree that they should be allowed to get some time off for personal issues. But I also think it should be equal for both sexes. My solution would be to allow any employee to take 2 days paid personal leave days. Perhaps more could be allowed as unpaid. But it also depends on the job. I think a good way to approach subjects when faced with someone who is particularly vocal and into social issues is to ask them open ended questions. It allows them to do all the talking. If you allow them to express themselves without actively arguing with them it makes for a much better, calmer conversation. Also when people are throwing out words like feminist, it is important get them to define that word for you. If they say they are a feminists, determine if they are a "hate all men" or a "…

Not only is it pathetic that these women make a HUGE deal about this, but I honestly think that women who do make a huge deal are just insecure and extremely jealous. They are jealous that these "men" feel comfortable enough to do that.

Good point. It is the same on the other side too. Most white males are not racist or sexist. But if people keep accusing them of being that it really pushes them that way too.

Not anymore. If you are a man, and you explain to a girl, she takes offence to it. It doesn't matter if you know what you are talking about, or you talk to her like anyone else.

Yeah, fuck clementine Ford. She is a substandard misguided terrible human being. People who think like her are actually ruining society and creating a bigger divide between sexes. Men joke about all sorts of terrible things. It is a giant game of 1-upsmanship. Who can say the most offensive thing. What they joke about has nothing to do with who we are as human beings. Most of joke is knowing that it is a joke and would never happen.

Okay I want to be captain obvious here. If you can't afford to be a father then don't have sex. Because every time a penis and a vagina come together there is always a chance. First off, relax. You talked, and expressed your concern, she responded. I am not sure what you can do legally, inwould start looking of legal rights if you are that concerned. The best thing for the both of you is to be supportive of the whole thing.

How is this a men's rights issue? I am having a tough time rectifying it in my head. A change in sex laws is a change in sex laws, men get raped too so this is a good thing for men as well.

I really don't disagree with anything he said. I agree, the modern man is being attacked, or what we feel is to be a man. I think feminism is throwing the baby out with the bath water. Feminism is trying to get rid of the bad parts of being "a man" but they are also inadvertently getting rid of the good things too.

Well it's not crippling. And it is not making imperfect. And it's not violently removing a body part. See the problem with people like you is that you want to use all sorts of trendy buzz words that incite some sort of emotional response to further your social justice cause. It's the same thing the pro life movement does when they call abortion "murder". Or whenever the media uses all sorts of adjectives and adverbs to entice people to watch. I'm not going to use any other word other than "modif…

I would hardly call circumcision a mutilation. That's insulting to anyone who has had it done. He expressed his opinion. If he wants to suck circumcised dick, good for him, it his mouth and his choice. He also provided some decent facts to support his claim. He is not right or wrong. He has an opinion and he expressed it well. You on the other hand used inflammatory and offensive wording by saying mutilation.

Taking sex out of it. No physical altercation should end up with anyone in that condition. When you get physical with someone you have to expect there is a chance of being badly hurt, whether by malicious intent or by accident.

The way I see it. The amount of men are saying yes to marriage is going down. Adding a male birth control pill is just going to have the amount of men saying yes to children go down. Combine that with the fact we live in a "hook up culture" there are going to a lot less satisfied people wondering why can't they have a meaningful relationship and family.

This guy speaks the truth on so many issues, he could do so much good for equal rights. But it is all lost when he proclaims himself a troll, and doesn't condemn shitty behaviour of his followers. Watch it, collect facts and rebut the claims made in the show. By simply refusing to watch the show you are giving your media teacher a simple out. You can be accused of being closed minded or whatever buzz word they want to use. The best thing you can do is watch it, understand it, rebut it if you disagree

Good for her. Discus throwing, I bet she is an amazing athlete. I am sure there are many other women who are #1 in their sport as well. The only people telling women how they should look is other women. You see an amazingly athletic woman in a room and the guys respect her. All the women tear her down. So societally speaking it is women keeping women down. That's really demeaning that we watch women's sports with a curious eye. Actually that statement is just plain ignorant. Where do you get tha…

You should have it both ways. You should be able to rely a man for all the attributes that he provides that compliments your attributes. You should be able to feel safe in more environments than you do. But the extreme feminism people are throwing the baby out with the bath water. The movement is alienating many many men and who agree with the above statements. They are slowly becoming jaded and hateful because that even though they are good men their "opinion doesn't matter because they have a …

It was a tongue in cheek answer. It was not a condescending answer at all, and I am not sorry if you were offended. Long answer is that it is an easy to rally around campaign. We live in world were everything has to be "sexy" and "trendy" before anyone takes any notice. So the whole breast cancer awareness/pink warrior campaign is it. It is easy for men to generalize and give you a response like I did and support it without being overly emotional. While this campaign is garnishing that much atte…

It is another SSRI. I took Zoloft and hated it, then switched to cipralex and was on it for 3 months. I was depressed. It doesn't really sound like you are depressed though. The nice thing about SSRIs is you can stop and start them with no issues. So I would try them for the duration of the prescription and see how you feel. In the meantime you need to force yourself to go to class. The only person you a fucking is you by not going. The class doesn't care, your prof doesn't care, nothing.

That's bullshit. What his comments represent is the fact that our society puts money and fame above anything else. If he is indeed telling the truth about them just letting him kiss them it says a lot about us as a society. His comments are less about what the Washington post and all those other papers say and more to do with what it represents. We as a culture worship guys like Michael Vick and Dan blizarian and Chris brown regardless of behaviour. And many women and men let them behave that wa…
