Yes! I wish I ended it when I realized, when no other woman was in the picture. It’s much much uglier when there is. I realized in hindsight that it would have been more brave, and more right at the same time, to end it once I knew. Your feelings won’t change. When u know u know!

Sounds like you really have tried. I left without cheating either but even just talking to another woman will infuriate her. I wish I had left first. I wish I had the opportunity you have. You will move down the street and divorce her for your children and yourself. I am so happy now. It’s a hard year or two. But you will now be so much more aware in picking a new partner...and you will get back in touch with yourself first. And you can hold your head high knowing you gave it everything you had …

Be careful about recording. Talk to your atty about recording devices. You can openly request to your wife that you want to put cameras in the house and record everything. They will say no. And that’s a big help for you just for her not agreeing openly to it. If you are all these horrible things, her saying no flies in the face of that.

This. My wife started saying the kids were scared of me. This is normal, unfortunately. Many friends had same exact. Do NOT play into it and blow up. Stay calm...as much as you can. Get a great atty. Tell her that you will not be in the same room with her when u are home (if you are still living together). Think of your kids with every interaction and stay above it.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
