For those who are out of the U.K. this also has another possible negative impact in that if you can’t sit the exam for that topic for one reason or another like severe illness, death in the family, etc etc. The exam board will grant you the predicted grade your school submitted. So a girl predicted A+ and a boy predicted C+ will get those grades if for example they both couldn’t sit that exam. Despite of course the real results being different otherwise.

Reminds me of a short stint I did at a cafe when I was 17-18, I was the only man other than one older barista. In the eyes of the law yes, they're equal. In terms of employment, it depends on the field as Turkey still has very traditional gender roles. Men are preferred for things like construction whilst women are preferred for things like teaching roles. I've mentioned this before but the UK Rape law actually hurts lesbians quite a lot. I've said before, if you false accuse more than once your name should be on a registry. Anyone man or woman should be able to look you up before a hook up / date / meet up etc and see. It's only fair people should know if you've falsely accused 3 people in the last 2 years.

Dating apps always have more men then women on them, sometimes as uneven as a 1:3 ratio. So they have GREAT incentive to keep women on the platform. And a height requirement serves that purpose as its a common compliant from women that they can't tell a mans height from selfies. What's even more infuriating is (not to blow my own horn) but I've helped and volunteered more of my time to everyone in the family (hers included) than anyone else.
