| 16 | As it should beSwimming is a fantastic sport and works pretty much everything. I’ve been a competitive swimmer my whole life. I am now starting to see shoulder issues, but that’s because I was a butterfly swimmer, and from maybe age 8/9 to 18 I trained 3 times per week every week bar maybe 5-8 weeks a year. At one point I was doing 7 times per week for a year and a half. Shoulder problems shouldn’t really be an issue with people who just swim for fitness if you have good technique.
