Nice work on breaking down social climbers vs truth seekers. I would suggest another bullet point to your “how to spot a NARS”: Do they obfuscate their findings or arguments through word salad? Are they unable to break down complex ideas into more manageable chunks for the layman? NARS

Agree with you sadly. Given the concept of manufacturing consent is an actual thing it absolutely stands to reason that certain elements within the halls of power are testing the waters like you said. Any big manufactured polarized issue like the vaccine issue can also be used to distract people attention from politicians sneaking through all kinds of bills, laws etc
/r/TheRedPill26/07/21 10:14 AM

But I'm thinking about it for the vaccine pass. I agree with you that the vaccine is not some giant worldwide conspiracy for population control or whatever but it’s the above statement that does concern me. I am pro vaccine but anti authoritarian. Hence coercing people into doing something so they are allowed to travel is a concerning trend which is where the real issue is IMO

Exactly it’s far better to think in terms of probability when taking population stats down to the level of the individual. That’s where a lot of people, both red and blue pill fuck up with their thinking
/r/TheRedPill17/07/21 01:35 AM
3

Correct. The issue is with the distribution of IQ. Men’s is more platykurtic, women’s is leptokurtic . The difference is small but leads with a population of billions it means many many more men sitting at the extreme ends when compared to the number of women at the tails

Sure, he’s saying that we have a choice in how we react to our feelings on events. E.g a lot of guys are complaining about girls on only fans or general thottery. There no point in getting upset, you have to realize that girls doing x y or z is something you as an individual cannot control. You can recognize that this creates feelings of unfairness, rejection or bitterness but then cast those aside. You can control your emotional response. So fucking what, that’s their choice, maybe they’ll beco…

Marcus Aurelius made this realization around 2000 years ago, he summed it up quiet nicely: You have power over your thoughts on outside events rather than the events themselves. If you realize this you will find strength. It seems you discovered this little trick too. The challenge will be to keep on remembering it!

No actually we Europeans see the US for what it is - extremely polarized and extremely overly emotional/tribal about team red vs team blue. As evidenced by the majority of screeching in this thread. It’s like looking at a dumbbell.

Well arguably she’ll have highly attuned social media marketing skills and a “portfolio” to back it up. No official qualification in said area but maybe that doesn’t matter is she stays in her wheelhouse and, say, offers her marketing for the up and coming fresh “content creators”

Choice is a bullshit word, and they know it. You fell for a re-framing tactic so much so that you then spent enough time to construct this post trying to logically argue against it. The framing of choice was used to shift dialogue away from the topic which was the morality of cheating.

But wait this would mean that women compete with each other (for attention). And the APA has clearly stated that competition is a “toxic male” behavior. Therefore you’re hypothesis must be wrong... lol at the nuns all meowing like cats, that’s some next level mind control.

Sounds to me like shes feels out of her depth as a mum. First child, young infant and she’s forty. That’s got to be tiring at that age, especially after 40 years of only really having to think of herself. Old dog can’t learn new tricks etc. Maybe your guy suggests hiring a babysitter 2 evenings a week and they both go out for a dinner date. It’s a bit of a break for BOTH of them. That might help her pull herself out of the depression and help her FEEL like she’s back in control a bit.

Sample size is not the problem with this “study” but rather the sampling strategy. Increasing sample size from 1000 to 100,000 won’t make a big impact on the power or precision of the results. Asking 1000 soy boys their opinion on crying at weddings vs a truly random sample of dudes is the real crux of the problem. Plus a poorly defined construct of masculinity.
/r/TheRedPill19/10/19 04:56 AM
1

I hate dog shit “studies” like this for one overarching reason - they never properly define the construct(s) of masculinity but just pull a bunch of popular talking points/vaguely associated synonyms out their arses and slap a likert scale next to them. Lazy psychometrics at best, disingenuous at worst.

I think these visceral reactions you have to women with tattoos can be explained by what we know from psychology. Women are more likely to be higher in the trait neuroticism. A facet of neuroticism is impulsivity and poor emotional regulation. The tattoos are probably a visual cue for those women who are higher in this facet and its overarching trait, thus your revulsion. Attention seeking/validation is also another contributing factor. Highly neurotic women are a pain in the ass to deal with le…

You don’t understand the definition of hypergamy. Hypergamy = seeking someone of higher socio-economic status. Women seek men of higher status in their respective social circle. And tend to date serially. Guys want good genes, so we look for biological cues (I.e. “hotness”). Very very few guys give a damn about her socio-economic status because that’s what WE bring to the table. Also guys will prefer, if given the opportunity, to date in parallel. This IS NOT hypergamous behaviour as defined by …

Absolutely agree. Everything has been pushed to the extreme in the west in terms of “beauty” which I think of as the socially mediated part of sexual attraction. Men and women both are creating caricatures of themselves based on comic book depictions of “hotness”. If you read the twatter posts it seems very obvious to me that the thread is lampooning the common excuses that these women/the media say that guys use on women when they cheat. But they have recontextualised them. These women are not actually advocating anything, this is a “see how you like it when we repackage the excuses men give us for their cheating”. Except this is too logical. The feminists who stirred up a moral panic when this sexbot issue was brought up a few years ago presented a FEELZ argument, something like: “Sexbots Will allow men to unshackle their dark natures and we are scared that they will then carry this (bad) behavior over to their relationships with real women which will be dangerous.” But what about dildos!? Good for you! Sounds like you’ve got things sorted out but definitely work on one part “My job and life are boring.” It’s easy to inject some adventure into life. Take up an adrenaline sport or art or music. Something to give you “an edge”. Seriously: how do women not understand that when they’re 40, they’re not going to find a hot 40 year old guy who’s going to marry her? Two simple reasons as far as I can see: 1) sunk cost fallacy. Can’t afford to settle for less so late in the game so cost of access to her goes up, rather than down. 2) mapping HER selection criteria for LTR Mate to what she imagines guys would also be looking for because she’s not a guy and can’t empathize with their own selection criteria.

Good points about enjoying P4P. I too see nothing wrong with it as long as its part of your larger "tool kit". I would also add another well known maxim in the P4P scene: "You're not paying her for sex, you're paying her to leave after" In essence she is forfeiting her access to your commitment and attention in exchange for short term access to financial resources. Have at it lads, stop worrying about it "not being real true love" and just bang her brains out like an animal for YOU.

Mate, you lucked out! You got to have a good time with a cutey while she was reeling in her Beta Bucks dude. Don't sweat it. She's 32 prime Wall territory. She's cashing in her looks for babies and a provider. You gave her some feels along the way, maybe her last hurrah.

So tldr - drugs cause loss of emotions, leaving only logic. So therefore chicks on meds invent feminism. Feminism isn't logical tho. They can't even understand how women seem to EARN less than men ON AVERAGE.

Your definition of how men perceive "love" sounds an awful lot like LOYALTY to me. And I'll take loyalty in a woman any fucking day of the week over a chemical "love"

Up voting for comment on Psilocybin. The benefits of it have been massively suppressed yet the few studies that have looked at it have shown overwhelming benefits to depression and no addictive properties. It also alters a personality trait over the long term - increasing Openness to Experience. This probably explains, in part, your willingness to take point on trying to open up people, go to new places, do new things and hence open up your social network. I think everyone who isn't clinically p…

Hi mate. Glad you're trying to Temper your inner Beta that has been allowed to reign unchecked. Keep at it. You feel like part of your core persona is dying it seems. You named him gregarious, warm. I would name him Doormat. I don't mean that as an insult. You can still be warm and friendly but you MUST enforce boundaries. Case in point your next actionable issue: Your wife no longer "clocks off" from parenting the minute you get home from a brutal workday earning the FUCKING money that feeds th…

Yes mate seriously all the best. It's nice to hear some positivity on here now and again! But perhaps you'll permit me some final thoughts for the road across country as you set off for new prospects: - 1) re-reading your OP, you guys sound young-ish maybe mid twenties? So her "I never want kids either babe" should be read as "I feel right now that I never want kids either". There is a large probability driven by biological imperatives that she will change her mind on kids. This will be regardle…

Good luck buddy. Glad you found someone who is a good fit for you. Just beware that as sure as day follows night she will begin attempts to manipulate you once you're married or in any long term relationship. If she's thinking about kids she WILL try to make you more beta. It's is inescapable biological hardwiring. Stick to your principles (frame) and you may just make it through the other side. When the kids get beyond a certain age she'll suddenly be craving the old alpha you back. If you neve…

These women are of the "materialista" archetype. All women exhibit the following behavior to some degree:- The active exchange of attention, fake attraction and sex for material provision. The fact that they've self identified the greater part of their psyche to you by being in such as site makes the game easier! Now you need to find out the next parts of the game: Is she high self esteem or low? High sex drive or low? Anyway with this type of girl you would be best off putting her to work. I.e.…

I've been reading "female psychology a practical handbook". This is a great read and explains quite simply the issue. Men have Logical Reasoning and can dissociate emotion from their thinking (to lesser and greater extents but more so than women). Women have Emotional Reasoning. They think about the world through their feelings. They cannot parse the feelz out of final decision making (to lesser and greater extents but more so than men generally). That's why trying to solve a woman's problems by…

I'm reading "female psychology a practical handbook" right now as it was suggested by another RPer in another thread but has relevance here. Very interesting read. In that book the authors suggest that women can be categorized four ways High self esteem high sex drive High self esteem low sex drive Low self esteem high drive LOw self esteem low drive Now these are actually all continuous traits rather than discreet but this helps us conceptualize typical likely responses regarding sexy times. Ab…

Also in the case of S2 it seems to me that you entered her frame. You were reacting to her demand to qualify yourself, as though she's the authority that is screening you. You should have just got up and walked off in my opinion. She sounds pretty stuck up. Or maybe agree and amplify to deflect her.

I may have disagreed with you regarding your views on historical warfare and make genetic lineage but you nailed it on housing. Think Goldilocks - not too big, not too small. Evidence/ estimates from the website "ourworldin data.org suggests for non-state societies (tribes) the number of violent deaths per 100,000 people per YEAR between 20 - 1450 individuals. Assuming that's ALL men from war alone gives 1.45 % of men per year failing to procreate per year. This is sloppy maths so even if we x it by 10 and be hugely generous it's still waaaaaaaaaaaay off your original assertion. Yes, life was hard back in the day. But it's not as bad as you're making out

Black Swans. I already made this argument to you. I know humans can be very brutal towards one another, I know battles were deadly, I know Slavery was a common warfare practice. Those are not the argument. The argument is your claim: "Most men failed to reproduce because they were either dead from the battlefield or captured as a slave and not allowed to breed." I'm saying this is not physically possible for the majority of men to have failed to reproduce from these two factors ALONE. To field a…
/r/TheRedPill17/07/17 12:39 PM

Your theory still has the limiting factor of stability. For war and slavery to be the main cause of male failure to reproduce it would need to occur at such frequency it would be unsustainable because of bottlenecks is supply and provisioning of the invading force. Also you can't have that many slaves suddenly captured and forced into servitude without a huge revolt. So u then have to commit man power to watch over them, punish etc. so your raiding team is reduced by death on raid plus now some …

I find the wars reason insufficient as sole cause. It is an argument that absolves guys of their complicity in their own failure to reproduce. Across time wars were an ever present fact of human existence, yes. But they were incredibly rare event for individuals within any particular era. I would even go so far as to say even individual soldiers probably saw combat far less than we imagine. Like modern armies lots of dudes are REMFs. Lines of supply, garrison, policing etc. It just doesn't follo…

Hey mate, nice summary of some basic fundamental security measures for an online life. One thing I do instead of black book: Have an offline separate device that NEVER gets hooked up to the net or wifi. It's encrypted and can hold any important docs - e.g. Passport copies etc. passwords can be referenced in here but as code hint. E.g. I know my favorite animal is a Jaguar. My birthday is 1984. I have to disagree. Correlation does not imply causation. There were far more significant issues going on in the Roman Empire that are better candidates for causative agents: Over extension of administrative capabilities Multiple ethnic social assimilations creating complex internal politics Cut throat politics in the capital causing politicians to fight each other rather than deal with social issues Are but a few. Also I would add, since the early Middle Ages (after Black Death outbreaks) I wou…

Sadly I have to agree with other earlier posters. This survey does not pass muster for a number of reasons: 1) spelling, punctuation errors 2) poorly/ confused phrasing statements 3) catch-all approach. This survey seems like a pilot. What construct are you measuring? The questions seem much too varied and don't measure a single focused construct repeatedly. 4) if this survey is not based on earlier established research/survey then you need to show reliability and validity for this survey. I can…

OP outlines a few life events and how they helped him learn a valuable lesson about PEOPLE: "Knowledge is power" Best of luck with your battles and keep building a better you. Also I agree. Never splurge your innermost concerns/feelz/weaknesses to women, or colleagues (male or female) for that matter. What a lot if you young guys need is a mentor/father-figure who would be your confidante etc. I guess that's part of what TRP takes on in this age.
/r/TheRedPill29/05/17 10:27 AM

Well said mate, TRP gives us a better model of reality so we can succeed more often be it with women, other men or re-building ourselves.
/r/TheRedPill16/05/17 10:57 AM

Or you could choose to look at your life and think: I got to where I am because if me. Everything in my life I created with my own hands, through my abilities. I carved out my space in this world. Freeloaders (women and men) are dependent upon the efforts and talent of others. How shameful they must feel to be like children to the adults who provide for them! Be proud of what you made for yourself!

You need to realize that your depression is just an emotion that is unchecked. It feeds itself and you spiral down. I can assure you there is nothing "wrong" with you but people (women) pick up on your negativity and don't want to be around you - this deepens your spiral. You need a plan of action to get yourself up in to the light again. Feel free to adapt this but if I were you I would do the following: - 1) LIFT. Go to the gym starting TMRW. Three times a week. Start putting on mass. Heavy we…

Very well put. I think the system you theorize has indeed existed since the dawn of man. The issue is not a case of "before the rewards for men were X but now x is y". Rather the case is that the rewards for altruistic behavior have been reduced and in their place we have consumerism as the new catharsis.

Guys guys guys. You're over thinking things... 1) some women will always whore, most won't (in the common sense of the word). Legal or not it's the oldest "profession" after all. Thus legalizing won't change this dynamic. Most women will not be able to bring themselves to accept this "lowering of their status" in their own minds. 2) stop comparing a fuck with a "real girl" vs a hooker like they're on the same measuring stick. Apples and oranges. Both are tasty for different reasons. A diverse po…

Well the cultural divide does make navigating a relationship tricky. But in some ways i have found TRP principles to have helped. The core masculine image we try to develop and hone by applying trp is not cultural it's much deeper and so it is through our actions that women judge our fitness in a sense. But as to children - yes they would never have fully, two feet firmly in one culture - a blessing and a curse. And you are correct about them being at the whim of the mother, as primary caregiver…

Weird. I'm in Asia now and have had the exact opposite experience in my "liaisons". Hypergamy for sure exists I never claimed it didn't. But depending on where you are in Asia the state is less likely to facilitate its execution on the part of the female in cases where she wants to divorce you, keep your kids and most of pay checks without any output herself. You were worried about having kids. Kids need a stable relationship between two parents. Both parents need to invest in the marriage and w…

"Change it up a bit, she gets upset about you coming home late because she needs help with the kids' extracurriculars. Hi there. I actually quite like your interpretation but I don't see it at odds with Mr. Tomassi's teachings. When I read his essays I very much interpret them as a series of hypothetical components of a framework aka - Feminine Imperative (iirc).
