No. They asked how you weed them out in the first place. What you’re talking about is when you’re already living with them.

Yes. I agree with all of this. I haven’t argued otherwise.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/08/25 06:50 PM

For those who can, yes.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/08/25 04:42 PM

Yeah it’s pretty obvious OP posted this in hopes of reconfirming their biases.

1

No I mean anatomically they just can’t.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/08/25 02:42 PM
2

Yes but skill doesn’t supersede anatomy. My point is that it doesn’t matter how skilled you are, some women cannot and will never orgasm from penetration.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/08/25 12:46 AM
1

It cannot be merely a skill issue, as a significant percentage of women cannot achieve orgasm solely from penetrative sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/25 11:27 PM

Most women cannot orgasm from sex unlike men.

OP I love how you just had to throw in that humble brag!

I would take generalizations from bitter men on here with a grain of salt.

Sometimes it’s because they personally would never smile at anybody unless they’re trying to signal that they want to fuck them. So it’s impossible for them to understand that some people smile to be nice and not because they’re horny.

Okay. Can you help me understand why it gets said a lot then? What is the goal? To me it just sounds like they want a pat on the back. Oh and I do not represent the entire group of women. I’m not special.

Men do it to. They love to virtue signal how less shallow they are by mentioning how they would fuck fat/ugly women.

How many women do you know that complain about marriage benefiting men more while simultaneously pursuing a guy to marry them?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/25 02:33 PM

If a woman is pressuring a man into marriage, it’s because she sees a benefit.

Normal humans are perfectly capable of being friends with the opposite gender. Those with issues cannot. These same people project and will try to convince you that everyone is like them. Do not listen to them.

Would you say you’re objectively attractive? Have women told you you’re good in bed? Are you bigger than average?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/25 05:44 PM

I have no idea how those women do it. My husband is the biggest, the best, and the hottest I’ve ever been with.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/25 05:33 PM
1

Nobody is attracted to literally everyone. That’s not how attraction works. Most people find some attractive, some neutral, some not at all. Saying you “guess so” just makes it sound like you don’t actually mean it. If someone really was into 99.9% of people, that wouldn’t be normal, it would be creepy.

Your logic is flawed. Assault isn’t caused by clothing or independence, it’s caused by the person choosing to commit the crime. If your reasoning checked out, then children, modestly dressed women, or men wouldn’t be assaulted, yet they are. And let’s say you were right, all it would really say is that men are so incapable of self control that women have to constantly manage men’s impulses by restricting how they live. That paints men as predatory and dangerous by default, which is false and ins…

No woman was ever more attracted to me because I called it out, though, so I see why somewhat decent men don’t really see the point of calling it out often. You think women are asking you to call out other men just so you can be attractive to them? Lmaooo this is hilarious. You sound like the main character. Women do not have men brains. Just because everything you do revolves around women and their approval doesn’t mean women are the same.

I wonder how many women can confidently say “I’ve been harassed/attacked more while walking with bf than when I’ve been alone.”

The OP asked a direct question and I gave a direct answer. I’m not arguing for legal or moral consequences, just answering whether victims are always blameless. That’s it.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/25 11:39 PM
3

So what? OP asked, and I responded. It’s not illegal or immoral to lie to yourself and get preyed on. It is immoral (and sometimes illegal) to prey on others. I never argued otherwise.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/25 11:01 PM

No, they are not always blameless. Anyone who believes otherwise is full of ish. Sure, there are a lot of people that lack certain awareness, skills, or experiences that would help them avoid toxic dynamics. But there are times where the victim knowingly takes actions that increase their likelihood of experiencing harm.

The most common stereotype I can think of is a fit guy at a military base What does success look like to you? Being in the Army, none of the guys I worked with ever had problems getting women. Not even the “ugly” ones. The majority of them are now married and have children.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/25 06:03 PM
3

I wasn’t talking about men finding younger women attractive, that’s human nature. I was referring to the idea that marriage is framed as “accepting” that your husband wants other women more than you, and you’re just the one he settled for. That’s the part that’s disheartening and disinterests people from marriage, not the fact that attraction exists.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/25 03:20 PM
1

Correct. They don’t care about personality for hooking up. However if you open up any post about age gap differences on Reddit, you will find that the majority of men wouldn’t get in a relationship or marry a 20 year old.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/25 03:11 PM

Yet you're still married? thats weird that you accept that yet choose marriage. Do you like being the cuck to younger women he wants to fuck more than you? ^ This exact type of thinking

The fact you quoted only the first part of the comment and left out the “you’re probably a woman if you ask such stupid questions” bit tells me you know exactly what the hateful part was. So when you said “what hate?” you weren’t confused, you were just pretending.

It's just that men aren't prone applying social media to the real world. Why the generalization? We all know that people, including men, come on this sub and post social media links and attempt applying it to the real world all the time.

Just compare yourself to the beauty standard. Is your face symmetrical? Is your nose small? Are your eyes large? Are your teeth nice? Do you have clear skin? Are your lips full? Do you have high cheekbones? Do you have a feminine jawline? Are you thin with tits? No. Literally none of this. This sounds like a model.

What I want to know is as a woman, how do you know you’re actually objectively attractive? Based on the attention I got from guys growing up, I assumed I was hot. But then as I got older, I learned even ugly women get attention. Also, I’ve never experienced “pretty privilege” in the sense that I get stuff for free, strangers offer to carry things for me, etc. So because of that, I realize that I’m most likely not as attractive as I thought I was.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/25 07:29 PM

You're probably a woman if you ask such stupid question. Really? You’re trying to tell me that this is “sexual admiration?”

Do you think this would change if you were very attracted to these men?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/25 03:03 PM

However, that failure will be blamed on personality in order to hide how shallow women are. If it makes it more palatable, men are also shallow, they just don't have as much leverage to pick and choose as women do on average. Pretending to not be shallow has always been so silly to me. I don’t get it. It’s the equivalent of saying you don’t need oxygen. Although, I know what often seems “pretending” can just be a communication gap.

So many words to say you don’t have any sources.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/25 03:49 PM
1

Yes. You’re presenting a stereotype as if it’s some undeniable fact. Being more expressive doesn’t mean someone is more emotional overall, and being less expressive doesn’t automatically make someone more logical. Research shows women are socialized to express certain emotions more openly, while men are discouraged from doing so. That’s not biology, that’s culture. If your claim is so factual, it should be easy to share your sources. I’m open to discuss.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/25 04:45 PM

They could be testing double standards. That’s my guess.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/25 05:55 PM
1

You have misread my comments. I didn’t claim women aren’t more hypergamous on average. I agree with that, yes, it’s supported by both research and experience. What I said was that both men and women can be shallow or hypocritical, just in different ways. Women might prioritize status, and men might prioritize looks. Saying women are more hypergamous in behavior doesn’t mean they’re morally worse, and that’s the distinction I was making. My apologies if that came out as dishonesty, it definitely …

It's been proven that women are more hypergamous than men. It's a fact that would require pretty extraordinary evidence to question at this point. I know women are more hyper famous. I’ve never argued otherwise.

It’s not a gotcha. But a good amount of people on this sub think being good/bad (and lots of other traits) is gendered.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/25 09:53 PM

No, you see, unlike women, men are dtf women they think are ugly and fat. This outstanding generosity makes them less shallow than women which they need to be reminded of constantly. /s

1

I see where you’re coming from and I agree with most of what you’re saying. Hypergamy is real, both men and women can be shallow and hypocritical. I’ve seen women say they care about personality but still filter hard by status, and I’ve seen men act like they don’t care about anything but then ghost someone over looks. I don’t think either gender is more guilty of it. I think these patterns are worth discussing, but when it turns into blaming women or moral superiority, it stops being about unde…

You mention “lived male experience” like it’s some kind of universal truth, but your entire worldview is filtered through dating apps and resentment. You’re not describing reality, you’re describing your bubble. Sure, hypergamy might be more visible in women on apps, but pretending that means most women operate that way in real life is just lazy logic. Also no, men don’t get a pass for chasing looks just because they “admit it.” That’s not honesty, that’s deflection. Owning shallow behavior does…
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/25 08:41 PM
-7

You’re describing your own frustration, not reality. Blaming women for liking attractive men while excusing guys who treat women like collectibles isn’t insight, that’s projection. Men chase looks too. Hypergamy isn’t exclusive to women, it’s human. And saying women “won’t put in effort” while sitting in Reddit threads complaining about rejection is ironic.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/25 07:50 PM

I guess I just can’t relate. The only person I’m interested in having sex with is my husband.

We will never know. I have a feeling enough men would but they wouldn’t admit to it.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/25 06:43 PM
7

If this is the case, what’s up with all the bitching about how women are shallow, don’t love conditionally, are hypergamous, etc? Like there are men literally trying to convince us that we are the “worse gender” meanwhile they have no shame about cycling through women like they’re collectibles.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/25 06:39 PM

Men can tell women they're hot, either paying her a genuine compliment or to the end of trying to have sex with that woman. Yes, and I’m debating that men in these less than average women’s DMs boosts their ego. However, despite the ego inflation, it shouldn't be confused with men wanting to do anything with that woman outside of sex. Some women get that confused. This isn’t what I was debating. I’m not confused about this.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/25 06:02 PM
1

If you think the only value someone has is what they provide you, then you’re not looking for connection, you’re looking for utility. That mindset will make every relationship feel empty, no matter the gender. Women offer emotional intimacy, shared experiences, different perspectives, support, laughter, love, and trust. If you genuinely believe those are things only men can offer, maybe the problem isn’t women, it’s that you’ve never had a healthy relationship with one. And please don’t take tha…

This is a debate sub after all. You’re not trying to debate though, you’re just projecting your pain. You’ve said yourself you feel like a lesser human and get treated badly, and I’m sorry you’re going through that. But turning that into a worldview where women are only valuable as trophies or sex objects isn’t truth. It’s just your way of coping. I hope you get to a place where you don’t need to see others as less just to feel like you matter.

/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/25 07:55 PM

Nope. She’s overweight. Has been since she was a teenager.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/25 07:53 PM

If the women are average, and the men are average as well, how is that supposed to be hypergamy?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/25 06:56 PM

Exactly. I have a cousin who is extremely delusional. She’s mentally ill, has zero custody of her daughter, abuses animals, etc. absolute horrible person. But everyone in a while I will look at her IG posts and guys will be in the comments telling her how hot she is. No wonder she thinks she’s a catch 🤷🏻‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/25 06:49 PM

Men are so generous they’re willing to have sex with big whales unlike shallow women!
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/25 03:49 PM

And that’s a problem for you why?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/25 03:46 PM

It’s also the ones who are mentally ill who speak the loudest.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/25 03:45 PM

I can understand a guy being the deep emotional kind who cares about the inside. Those guys absolutely exist. But to claim that men as a whole are like this is? 😂 OP should be a comedian.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/25 03:41 PM

Women don’t even know what they want until smacks them in the face. Pretty evident through their changing priorities as they age, hormonal BC, etc. Yes, this has been discussed dozens on times on here. What’s your point? Do you want a cookie?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/25 03:36 PM

Men don’t love women either. Just for what they provide. Pussy and a trophy. This is just another delusional take from someone seeking a sense of superiority.

Can you clarify how your comment addresses what I said? My point was about how often men on this sub say the majority of women are fat, yet consistently talk about how attractive women are, or how much attention they give them. That contradiction was what I was pointing out. Instead, you started venting about what some women supposedly want from men (height, penis size, etc.), which has nothing to do with what I said. This reminds me of the comments I’ve seen online of men saying if a woman is out in public barely wearing any clothes, she can no longer demand to be respected. That sounds insane to me. I don’t care if someone is running around butt naked. I’m keeping my hands to myself.

Are you referring to the greater male variability hypothesis? Yeah, that shows up in things like IQ and height, but it doesn’t mean men are inherently more individualistic or interesting than women. It just means there’s a wider spread in certain traits, not that women are all carbon copies. We shouldn’t overlook how much cultural pressure diminishes male identity. Men are often taught to behave in very specific, rigid ways, and ironically, that leads to a lot of the sameness people complain abo…

Women actually do know what they want, however women’s program is to sound politically correct in society. There’s a set of men here who don’t actually like women, who see women as an adversary, and who have a strong emotional attachment to the idea that being male makes them inherently superior. 🤷‍♀️ some people can’t be helped. You’re totally right about this. There’s nothing more hilarious than someone trying to convince others that they aren’t emotional just because they’re a man. Like no, that’s not how it works. /r/PurplePillDebate25/07/25 05:14 PM

We get it, we are illogical, indecisive, overly emotional, and very shallow. I don’t get what’s the point of these posts. Idk how we are even supposed to debate them when people clearly have their minds made up. Sure, a woman can lose weight. But once she’s past a certain age, her value goes down to zero and there’s nothing she can do to change that.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/25 04:27 PM

Sure, some men are staying away from those women. Guaranteed they can still find men dtf though. Can’t say the same about men.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/25 04:24 PM

Did these people never talk to anyone as kids? From the age of 3 I had friends of the opposite sex.

Two can play this game. Can’t wait until this cancer mentality ceases to exist.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/25 07:02 PM

Some of us never talk about others in negative ways though. It gets annoying getting lumped in with the same people who are all about an eye for an eye.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/25 05:11 PM

They make me realize how good I have it. I feel for them. It must suck having to go your entire life getting zero attention from women while noticing fat ogre women have no problems getting laid.

You seriously think all those women are doing cardio to get jacked like men?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/25 08:38 PM

You’re 19. Why are you worried about 30 year old men?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/25 06:04 AM

Why should he have to do anything? People prioritize things differently.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/25 09:03 PM

Exactly. Sometimes. This is one of those times where it’s not like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/25 08:53 PM

I get where you’re coming from. I have always had social anxiety and people would always assume I thought I was better than them because I was quiet. However, in reality, it was the opposite. However this guy is telling people to shut the hell up. That’s the part that rubs me the wrong way. I think it’s great you’re willing to overlook that though! It’s good to be compassionate.

When something gets posted for discussion/debate, minding one’s own business goes out the window. Sure, he is minding his own business. I’m still wondering what exactly is it that makes him awkward though.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/25 07:09 AM

You’re trolling right. There’s constantly posts about platonic relationships with the opposite sex and based on the comments, it’s obvious women like having male friends, while the men are the ones who usually don’t see any value in it.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/25 06:38 AM
-1

I’m having a hard time understanding why everyone here is calling him awkward. In order to get into that territory, one needs to actually socialize with people. This guy just sounds like a dickhead who thinks he’s better than others.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/25 06:36 AM

These debates are pointless. Every topic discussed on this sub boils down to “some men” or “some women.”
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/25 06:28 AM

No. Its all men. Even the hottest. They’re actually worse than the not so hot ones.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/25 07:05 PM

No, they’re just saying that they don’t find most men attractive. It seems like that hits a nerve with you. Why is that?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/25 01:11 PM
4

Correct. Men will date women even though they don’t necessarily like them.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/25 01:06 PM
2

The point being is that there are factually a bunch of you here who actively date men WHILE you find typical "stupid male stuff" annoying Sounds like you’ve described the majority of people on here, including men.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/25 09:48 PM

I’m referring to when guys do things to avoid scaring women.

She certainly chose him to have kids with.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 03:41 PM

The way you describe it makes it seem like you were expecting her to be a mind reader about you wanting to end the conversation. Unless you say “bye,” if I’m enjoying the conversation, why would I stop talking to you just because I don’t have social media? Also it’s pretty obvious that she was just interested in having a good conversation and nothing more.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/25 03:23 PM
3

Does OP say this is exactly how it went in the comment?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/25 03:20 PM

“I be regretting” why do you talk like this? Just curious.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/25 03:18 PM

Correct.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/25 05:24 PM

Yes. Did you not read my first comment? It’s in the first sentence. In the 10 years I have been married, I have learned to speak up and not expect mind readers.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/25 05:20 PM

I do like the sex I am having and I do say what I want while we are having sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/25 05:12 PM

Why are you assuming I require an orgasm to enjoy sex? I absolutely get pleasure out of sex. The way my husband fucks me everyday is mind blowing. It’s one of the reasons I married him.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/25 05:03 PM

I can’t cum while talking someone throughout the whole thing. It just ruins it. If there was some form of telepathy that would be amazing! Also the feeling of someone else’s hand vs my own hand on my clit feels completely different.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/25 04:53 PM

Did they tell you they wanted to date you?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/25 03:14 PM

Being looked at the way someone looks at a burger isn’t as grand as you think.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/25 09:55 PM

Let me clarify. I meant that everyday people like us (the general public) didn’t personally have a say in setting those age limits. They were decided by lawmakers or officials, not through some direct vote where citizens chose 18 or 21. So saying “it was chosen by the people” feels like a stretch in this case.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/25 05:03 PM

Of course they do. Everyone does regardless of their genitalia.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/25 04:59 PM

Please don’t take my comment as me saying men are bad at sex. My husband is amazing at sex. It’s just that it has always taken me more effort to orgasm when someone else is rubbing my clit. It’s not a them problem. It’s a me problem. That’s my point.

It’s because for women, it’s easier to orgasm from a vibrator. For example, I can orgasm 3 times within 5 minutes. If I want to orgasm with a man, it will take much longer than 5 minutes.

I thought that comment was hyperbole. I read it more as in “finally! some scientific evidence that shows that the awkward autistic incels aren’t the misogynistic ones after all,” not that they literally can’t believe it.

Yes, I understand people want to be attractive. It’s human nature. But going your entire life not wanting to do any strength training because men will think you’re too muscly is bizarre. It’s a true claim. There is tons of information about it online. Women naturally have around 30% lower bone mineral density than men. Once menopause hits, bone loss starts declining at a faster rate due to the loss of estrogen. Men also lose bone with age, but it’s slower and happens later because of their more …

Women who are decently attractive aren’t attractive because they roll out of bed like that. They actively work on their looks. That means working out and eating right. If they stopped doing that, they would be average or below average.

So don’t date one
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/25 03:36 PM

I don’t hate these men. It’s nothing more than a passing thought. Paying for parasocial relationships in the US isn’t normalized. So when I hear about it, I just think it’s weird to pay someone in order to keep some fantasy going. It kind of reminds me of women who genuinely believe in astrology or crystals.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/25 02:17 PM

Sex work is not a respectable line of work. Women need to stop act like it’s empowering. It’s not. It’s the opposite of feminism.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/25 02:08 PM

You know what you’re trying to say. Of course sex workers are also women. However, the majority of them come from very specific backgrounds. You will notice a pattern than you will not find in women who don’t opt into sex work.

I am a fool for looking at OPs post history. The fact that there are entire subs dedicated to guys AND women wanting to have hundreds of babies makes me want to die.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/25 04:32 PM

Unfortunately on this sub and on Reddit in general, there seem to be more people who think 2 wrongs do make it right than those who don’t. Or at the very least they’re the loudest.

Because they don’t want to engage in good faith discussion. It’s bait. Just look at all their replies. Every comment OP doesn’t like is met with, “you ignored the question.” And the responses they do approve of, they don’t add anything or engage with the it, they just comment “You are answering the question in the proper way. But most women are not.”

I haven’t experienced it in regard to women asking men for dating advice but for other things. Here are the claims I’m referring to: “Men will stick their penis in any hole” “All men prefer teenagers, a lot of them just won’t ever admit it” “Men aren’t attracted to women their age” “Monogamy is unnatural for men”
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/25 05:38 PM

I think my other problem is just women stating these things like fact and saying “NO men DONT do X do Z women won’t like that!” I hate this. I see this everyday on social media. Everyone acts like they’re the spoke person for their entire sex. I’ve had multiple interactions on this sub with men doing it and I always ask why they do that and what they gain from it, but I’ve never gotten an answer. People are weird man.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/25 05:23 PM

It’s pretty simple. People have different experiences and opinions. You’re going to get a wide variety of responses depending on who you ask. Some women are okay being approached at the bar, some aren’t.

My preference for older men started in high school. Guys my age were super superficial. The kind that would break up with you if they felt a little stubble on your leg. Sure, I could have gone for less superficial guys which could have maybe made a difference. But that superficial stuff stopped as soon as I started going for older guys.

I used to think it was true until studies that showed the opposite started coming out. The extroverted, charismatic types are more likely to be creeps, only want sex, and more likely to be misogynistic.

Because a lot of the times even if you’re innocent you will have to register as a sex offender which affects where you live, what jobs you can get, etc. So if you’re dating someone and it’s getting serious, eventually it will have to come up.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/25 05:15 PM
1

It might seem strange to bring that up, but if someone was wrongly accused and ended up with a conviction, even if they’re innocent, they often have to register as a sex offender. And that’s not just a label. It affects where they can live, what jobs they can hold, and how they move through society. Eventually, if they’re dating someone, that will come up. So disclosing it early isn’t about seeking sympathy, it’s about being honest about something that’s going to affect both of them down the lin…

My husband has made it very clear that he does not want to have sex with me unless I’m going to be 100% into it. He does not want to have sex with someone who is going to be unenthusiastic about it. It’s a turn off for him. So when I don’t want sex, I say no, instead of just dealing with it.

You’re not wrong! Everyone has some level of bias and sees patterns based on their own experiences. I’m not denying that. But what I’m saying is, when we look at society as a whole, there are plenty of short men in relationships. If ghosting over height was truly a widespread pattern, we wouldn’t see that. So while it might feel like a common experience in certain circles or apps, that doesn’t necessarily make it a general rule. I’m open to being wrong though. If there’s solid data showing that …

It does. But then they realize a lot of successful men also happen to be the biggest douchebags. That’s why they don’t buy the whole “you have to be a nice to get women” story they get told all the time.

It sounds like we are on two different pages. I don’t believe there is a general pattern of men being ghosted because of their height. Correct, when we observe general patterns, it’s never just about height.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/25 08:35 PM

They have no incentive to become decent people.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/25 05:47 PM

I see where you are going with this. If a woman stops talking to you as soon as you tell her your height, then yes, obviously it’s all about height in those specific context. I’m not going to argue against that. But if you’ve never been approached or received any interest from women in general, there’s a good chance that its not just because you’re short, it’s probably because you’re ugly too.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/25 05:05 PM
1

Because I have met/worked with/become friends with dozens of short men who are very successful with women. So if a short guy has never received any interest from a woman, it’s more likely that it has to do with other factors. If it really was about height, short men would not be in relationships. But they are.

Yeah, it’s a very convenient excuse for men who can’t keep themselves away from 12 year olds. “It wasn’t my fault. That 12 year old hoe wanted me.”

So if women get objectified because their tits are out, how do you explain the logic of when it happens when we are 12? Let me guess, 12 year olds are walking around with their tits out as well?

Do you have a study that shows men’s job is to continuously inseminate? I believe that idea comes from old evolutionary logic when child mortality was high. Back then, it made sense to have lots of kids. But that doesn’t mean men today have a biological “job” to inseminate. Times have changed. We’re not just running on caveman instincts anymore.

Because we have seen, experienced, and have been told that men will fuck anything with a hole, that women have nothing of value except what’s in between their legs, etc. It’s difficult not to see those things as offensive.

There are definitely very horny women out there, no argument about that. But if you look at large-scale research across different cultures, on average, men report higher levels of sexual desire than women. Studies also consistently show men think about sex more often, initiate it more, and generally have stronger reported sex drives. However, plenty of women have higher libidos than some men. But if you look at the big picture, the distribution is shifted a little to the right for men. So it’s n…

She clearly knows now that what happened wasn’t okay. That’s why she’s talking about it. Telling her she ‘should’ve known better at 14 doesn’t offer insight, it just passes judgment. Values are extremely important. If you don't have matching values, prepare to suffer. Hobbies, on the other hand, can be more flexible. As a music lover, when I was younger, I told myself there was no way I was going to date or marry a guy who doesn't like music. Who did I end up with? Someone who hates music. We've been together for 12+ years, and not once has it been an issue. If I had dismissed him just because he didn't like music, I would have missed out on the rest of him. However, you are…

I’ve honestly never come across any woman’s whose bit were so big I could see it through her leggings. That’s something I’ve never witnessed. I think people are entitled to being uncomfortable and have every right to speak up about it. However, don’t be a hypocrite about it. Practice what you preach. They aren’t that too far apart. You wouldn’t approach a guy and start a convo with him, would you? My point is just that I’m just confused as to why you assumed they wouldn’t approach a guy just to start a convo when you’ve experienced women doing just that to you.

Is this an attempt to shame women for placing their safety over your feelings? Personal safety is a basic human instinct. If someone has been harmed or betrayed by people they were taught to trust, it’s completely rational to become more cautious. You can throw around statistics all day, but that doesn’t undo how lived experiences shape our risk assessment.

I hate the “it’s just online” excuse. It’s often used to dismiss the people pointing out the vile shit they see others spew online. That’s human nature. But I’m not in that situation. My relationship isn’t under threat, and I’m not walking around feeling like I need to compete with anyone. Someone who’s drawn to status and celebrity more than character. People who prioritize image, attention, or clout. It could be a mix of shallow, validation-seeking, or maybe even people with low self-worth who feel being chosen by someone famous has value. Do you follow the advice you give people? Or no?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/25 03:03 PM

Because it’s performative. You already have a dingaling between your legs. You don’t need anything else to prove how macho you are to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/25 05:26 PM

You have a point. People definitely turn to religion for comfort in adulthood, especially during grief or existential crises. But I can’t help but think that’s more along the lines of emotional coping rather than genuine belief. As kids, belief often comes from trust in authority. As adults, I think it can be more about seeking meaning or reassurance, even if the doubt is stronger.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/25 03:56 PM

My apologies. Thanks for clarifying. Your original comment came across like you were making a broader societal claim with phrases like “warps how we view” and bringing up IG as a cultural influence. That’s why I brought up viewer numbers, to question how widespread that influence really is. Appreciate the nuance in your follow-up though.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/25 03:52 PM

Quick search says that 80% of American adults watch reality TV shows I wasn’t just asking about Americans though. I don’t see how the number is relevant to anything I said though I asked because your argument is that reality dating shows are warping how people view relationships and the opposite gender. But for that to be a widespread societal influence, a significant portion of the population would need to be watching those shows regularly enough to internalize those dynamics.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/25 02:59 PM
3

What percent of the human population do you think watch reality tv shows?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/25 02:42 PM

Religion is more believable as an adult? That’s an interesting thing. I feel like it’s the opposite. I feel like as a kid a lot of the times you believe what you’re told. Then you grow up and that’s when you find out a lot of the stuff you were told isn’t true.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/25 02:40 PM

I was just asking a clarifying question. I find that it’s better to do that to put words into people’s mouths. Your wording made it sound like you were skeptical. That’s why I asked. After reading your other comment, I can see that’s not the case. My apologies.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/25 07:43 PM

Who is claiming it’s a widespread view?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/25 06:57 PM

And classic rock.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/25 06:52 PM

Why are you asking? Decade and generation seems irrelevant as people that don’t fit social norms have always existed.

It’s not a strawman because they’re not misrepresenting anyone’s argument. They are criticizing a real pattern of behavior that exists, even if it’s not the majority. You don’t need the majority to display behaviors for it to be a valid concern.

I’m sorry this is just beyond unhinged men don’t say that most men are pedophiles. You seriously need to be worried about your algorithm or your friend group. Sounds like you’re contradicting yourself. If men don’t say these things, then why an algorithm or friend group matter? I believe a couple of individuals might admit it but any significant amount should have you running out of whatever space you’re in. Those are pedophiles trying to normalize pedophilia. You need to get out of that space b…

Tbh I don’t think the majority of humans are “normal.” Just turn on the news and you will see various stories of people being held captive for years and other absolutely unhinged stories. So I’m not sure why you find it so hard to believe these deranged individuals don’t go online. Sounds like you’re in denial.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/25 10:01 PM

I’ve literally never heard this said by a man ever. If we are going to be pedantic, I’ve never heard anyone say it in real life either. I don’t usually hang out with guys besides my husband so I’m not even sure how it would come up. But I’ve come across multiple men defend it on social media and I’ve always found it weird. Like you said, they’re definitely pedos, but they can’t keep it to themselves, they go around insisting that men are all that way.

Yes, some men say it. They’re in the minority. But I still wonder what’s their agenda. There was a thread on here awhile ago asking men what’s the biggest lie they see other men posting on here, and the most common response was “men insisting that every man wants to fuck teenagers.”
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/25 03:51 PM

I meant more so men saying that most men are pedophiles. I don’t understand why they would want to embarrass their entire engender. Like what do they accomplish?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/25 03:39 PM

It is very embarrassing. Do you think it’s just as embarrassing when men say it?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/25 03:23 PM

For me? Nope. If it’s just sex, I don’t need an emotional connection. I just need to find them attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/25 02:14 PM

Oh I was being hyperbolic and sarcastic. Gotcha. I get that these kinds of people shouldn’t be taken seriously, but the problem is they still have a serious impact in the real world. Just like how Instagram influencers affect young women’s self-image, toxic online rhetoric, whether it’s “men bad” or “women bad,” actively fuels division in the real world. The things people repeatedly see and read online do shape their worldview, and when generalizations about men or women become normalized, they …

I hope everyone realizes how framing subjective takes like this one as universal truths is harmful. In this case, all that this mentality accomplishes is further vilification against men. So to the men having a hard time understanding why some women have such animosity toward men, I hope you realize that a lot of your fellow brothers are adding fuel to the fire.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/25 11:55 PM

This is true. Putting people into categories is a human phenomenon. Men do the same thing when it comes to women that are older than them and are fat. So it makes sense that women would have their own version of this.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/25 11:43 PM

When it comes to unwanted sexual attention, men and women are absolutely entitled to shutting down that interaction.

Even if it’s just lust, there is still an element of attraction there. You can’t have lust without it.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/25 11:47 PM

So you have experienced immediate attraction. Children have crushes, but just because they usually don’t have an element of arousal like it does when it comes to adults, doesn’t mean it’s not immediate attraction.

Privilege only matters to people if it results in real benefits. A trust fund baby has access to resources that improve their lives. But a heterosexual man getting hit on by gay men doesn’t gain anything unless he’s actually interested. Similarly, a woman getting tons of attention from men she doesn’t want doesn’t automatically make her privileged in a way that benefits her sexually or romantically.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/25 10:22 PM
2

They already don’t. But you can’t accept it, so you pretend like you know them better than they know themselves like some kind of omnipresent god.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/25 08:55 PM
6

It’s that they have no resilience. Well, you did use the term “they” which is used to refer to a group of people. So if you didn’t mean all men, can you please explain who you’re referring to when you told OP “it’s that they have no resilience?”
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/25 07:02 PM
1

No. I’m asking, where is the brain rot in their comment?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/25 06:50 PM

And you think treating groups as a monolith and telling them they don’t have any resilience is going to encourage people to open up?

Are women uninterested in every man and can men not be uninterested in certain women? Also, is it impossible for uninteresting men to one day become interesting to women? No, women are not uninterested in every man, and men can be uninterested in women. Uninteresting men can become interesting. However, none of these have anything to do with my comment. What I'm talking about is when men tell women they're privileged because there are tons of men willing to have sex with them. Women refute this …

Plenty of gay guys currently find you sexy.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 05:48 PM

Men want to fuck women so it wouldn’t work. My point is that it’s not a privilege if the person trying to have sex with you is someone you’re completely uninterested in.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 05:38 PM
3

That wasn’t the point of my comment. My point was that it’s not a privilege if you’re not attracted to them or willing to have sex with them in the first place.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 05:36 PM
1

Yes, makes sense to me. But if we were to use the same logic, you should still see it as a privilege despite your sexual orientation.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 05:06 PM
1

Yeah, but you’re not, so you don’t, which is my point.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 04:58 PM

Let me clarify. My point wasn’t to imply there is something negative about homosexuality. I was trying to highlight how the perception of sexual availability as a privilege changes depending on the context. If men were constantly propositioned, many wouldn’t see it as a privilege, just as women often don’t. It’s about perspective, not homophobia.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 12:12 AM

Thanks. Next time I don’t like a comment, I’ll go ahead and claim homophobia as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 12:04 AM

I guarantee if you used their same logic on them and told them there are thousands of guys willing to sleep with them at a drop of a hat, they wouldn’t see it as a privilege.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/25 10:41 PM

I’m tempted to give you the same energy men give women on here all the time and tell you to touch grass. However I won’t. You’re witnessing a subset of women. A lot of them are the kind that grew up very spoiled and never grew up out of that mindset. They’re used to getting what they want from men because time and time again men bend backwards for them.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/25 09:13 PM

I’m just returning you the same energy 🤷🏻‍♀️

It’s been 14 hours. You’ve gotten plenty of responses from women. What have you learned from them?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/25 10:01 PM

I couldn’t care any less if a man did NONE of those things. If they want to do those things, by all means I will be appreciative. But I don’t expect any of those things.

5

Who is going to pay the bills while she takes care of her baby?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/25 09:51 PM

Exactly. Tons of people go online and say the absolute most vile things about entire groups. But then you make a post about the horrible thing that was said and you get people making comments like “that never happened. Touch grass” or “get over it, social media isn’t real life” as if we were interacting with robots and not actual humans.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/25 08:43 PM

I’ve noticed this kind of mentality is prevalent here. Person makes a post regarding opposite gender. “Stop making stuff up. Touch grass” Gives real life example or screenshots of it happening online. “That doesn’t count! That’s just some random unhinged weirdo. Touch more grass”
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/25 08:37 PM

Just curious, what made you think OP is trolling?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/25 08:30 PM

If you ask it to, it absolutely can.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/25 07:40 PM

Because multiple men have been adamant about letting me know that I don’t have any value and that the only thing I have to offer is what’s in between my legs. I would imagine it’s like telling men they have no value and they’re actually just ATMs, which is objectifying.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/25 05:05 PM

You don’t think there’s a point in arguing but you came here and made a post so people could debate? That makes no sense.

They’re criminals. They’re pathetic.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/25 03:58 PM
1

Idk what else you were expecting when you’re here telling me I have no value. Am I supposed to go “oh yes thank you for putting me in my place?” When you say negative things about people online, you’re going to get some pushback. The people you’re talking to are humans. Not robots. I can’t imagine going around and saying men have no value and then acting surprised when men push back on that.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/25 01:04 AM
3

It’s not sensible to you which is totally valid. If you want to lie, go ahead. I’m just saying that other men don’t see it that way and to them, being honest and communicating with women is the more sensible thing for them even if they’re shooting themselves in the foot. I think this applies to anything, not just dating. Some people are just more honest by nature than others. Even if they might lose out on opportunities, deceiving people to get what they want just isn’t who they are.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/25 10:08 PM
3

Do whatever works for you. Some people are okay with the idea of shootings themselves in the foot. For them they don’t think of it as numbers game. It’s more of a way of weed out people they wouldn’t be compatible with.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/25 09:54 PM
3

Yes. Lying is a perfectly valid solution for a lot of people. Some people do it because it’s easier. Others prefer to be honest.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/25 09:38 PM
11

I would feel sad for them and wouldn’t blame them for feeling that way. If I had spent all of my young adult life feel like a loser and never had any interest from men, I would probably also feel the same way.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/25 09:35 PM
2

Its just because men are horny and mad women wont fuck them So which one is it? Do they offer anything of value not? If these women genuinely didn’t offer anything of value, not even their vagina, men wouldn’t be mad women aren’t fucking them. Chasing someone even if it’s just for their genitals and temporary pleasure still indicates there is something value there.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/25 09:31 PM
15

I would actually be stoked because I’ve dealt with social anxiety ever since I can remember. I would feel great knowing I have finally found someone who has gone through what I have. I would be very interested in getting to know them and potentially dating if they wanted.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/25 05:48 PM

Women dont offer that much really to men. Interesting. I would think a group that doesn’t mean much would have far less posts made about them.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/25 05:47 PM

What are you talking about? I only have a single account. Are you going to answer the question?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/25 05:43 PM

Can you explain to me how I’m being an asshole? All I did was post an example of the kind of men we warn young women about.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/25 05:39 PM
2

Yeah you’re right. A lot of women don’t care for them. But they’re still more likely to categorize men differently. Husband material vs. hook up material is an example of that.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/25 05:32 PM
0

Surely you told this to OP too right? That tik tok reels aren’t real life and need to touch grass?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/25 05:31 PM
11

Yes, I realize there is nuance. I’m aware of my biases. So that’s when I would ask them why they’re single instead of jumping to conclusions and dismissing them off the bat.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/25 05:24 PM
2

Why does it bother you so much that I posted a screenshot of some random person on the internet? You could have just kept scrolling or engaged with it in good faith. But you did neither of those things.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/25 05:20 PM
6

Yes, there is nuance.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/25 05:20 PM
1

Why are you incapable about talking about shitty men?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/25 05:17 PM
-4

Predictable response. When presented with an insane take, instead of actually engaging with it, it’s “that’s just a single rando, that doesn’t count.” Why can’t you engage with it? I mean we know there are shitty women and men in the world. Surely you don’t think all men are wonderful? So why can’t you just have a discussion about a shitty Reddit man?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/25 05:14 PM
2

Statistical proof of what? My point is some men say vile things about women. Stop acting like I’m trying to generalize all men. I am not. I already said I’m talking about specific men. I gave you a screenshot of two of these men. They are real redditors. Are you suggesting I made those accounts up or something? Or that it’s somehow fake and those guys didn’t actually post those comments? Why does this bother you so much?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/25 05:11 PM
7

Yup. Men date a few years younger, women go older. That’s why most age gaps are around 5 years.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/25 05:06 PM
-1

Exactly. Which I think might be more of a dealbreaker for women than it is for men.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/25 05:04 PM
4

It’s not all men. It’s a certain kind of men. Seems like maybe you feel called out? This was probably the 100th time I’ve seen the same thing said about women. I’m not going to screenshot it every single time just for some cynical redditor.

<image> Exactly. Anyone that proudly ways shit like this online is a giant red flag. The way they talk about women lets you know how they really feel about women. Knowing that there are men who are with younger women just for their age make me sick to my stomach.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/25 04:57 PM

Remember, women are more selective. Women will find someone attractive, but still won’t date them for a myriad of reasons, one of them being they have plenty of other men to pick from. Idk maybe for men, younger always = better. But that’s not the case when it comes to women and long term relationships. Younger men in general are more attractive than their older counterparts, but I wouldn’t be interested in dating them due to how immature they were when I did date them. As soon as I started dati…

If you’re a 35 year old who only dates teens, I think that’s odd regardless if you’re a man or woman. If you’re 35 and are single, I’m not going to judge because there could be a million reasons why. When it starts becoming questionable is if you’re attractive and somehow made it to 35 without ever being in a relationship. That’s when I’m going to have lots of questions, regardless if you’re a man or woman.

People can say literally anything they want on the internet. So if men genuinely feel this way too about older women dating younger men, they also have the freedom to express it.

It’s the equivalent of the “Chad” men insist all women are after. Hourglass figure, big boobs, big butt, blond hair, etc.

I’ve always thought of it this way with men as well. If a group of models come to in, the average “cute” girl might as well not exist.

Well I don’t have a way of surveying the millions of women who are currently married. But based on the replies of the women on this sub, a significant amount of women feel the same way I do. Are the women on this sub the majority or minority? I have no way of knowing.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/25 11:46 PM

Ah no, these men are better than the ones who are solely hook up material. My husband was always hookup+husband material. If I didn’t want to immediately hook up with him, he was not husband material in my eye. The guys who were ONLY hook up material but not husband material were guys I found boring and just didn’t want to hang out with outside of sex. My current husband is the full package. He’s insanely good looking, but I also like his personality, his values, etc. that’s why I married him.

I would be horrified since I don't want anyone ever physically attacking my husband. My husband has confronted men for making women uncomfortable before. It reminds me that I married a wonderful man who cares about the safety of others.

Every guy I have dated including my husband has been “husband material” AND “hook up material.” And if you go on any thread regarding the topic, the majority of women share the same sentiment. So no, it’s not actually rare.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/25 07:05 PM

Yes, it’s used that way from some women. I’m not going to pretend like it’s the only way women use it though.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/25 04:36 PM

Fair enough. It’s 100% used in different ways though.

I think maybe some people are under the impression that “husband material” automatically making the man wait for sex. That’s clearly not the case though. If you’re husband material to me, I’m gonna want to jump your bones. I’m not making you wait.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/25 08:23 PM

Absolutely nobody is obligated to date single moms or single fathers. All your reasons are perfectly valid. I’m married but if I wasn’t, I would never date a single dad. Why? I don’t want any kids. I wonder if your roommates mother is a single mom or if it’s common in her family because it definitely seems like she took it too personally.

/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/25 04:26 PM

For me, if the guy is boyfriend/husband material, he is ALSO hookup material. I’ve never made any of my ex bfs or my current husband wait for sex. The difference is that I actually want to hang out with the one who is bf material, unlike the guy who I only see as hook up material. And by hang out I mean actually go out and do stuff and not just sex.

/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/25 06:23 PM

Women want to be approached. But more guys are opting out of approaching women because of negative experiences and women specifically telling them to stop cold approaching. Going on a dating app signals to others that you’re open for something and opens yourself up to a wide pool of men.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/25 06:18 PM

most of the men that really complain about modern dating are ones that are above average, do have a middle class job, and can't find a woman as above average as he is. Would you say most of the men on here are above average?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/25 06:10 PM

Looks like I missed your point. My apologies. To me, it read as if you were suggesting that men are unfairly told their preferences are unrealistic and shallow. So, I was just countering that with an example of when I think it's fair to judge them for their standards.

A lot of the men here are really shallow though. I have come across a lot that freely admit they only pay attention to the women that go after athletes, millionaire, etc. because they’re the hottest and they don’t want to be with an average woman because they’re fat and ugly.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/25 04:28 PM

What everyone considers “attractive” is different though. While some things can be generalized (most people aren’t going to be attracted to someone who is overweight), others cannot. If a woman ever says she isn’t into the athletic type, she will be told she’s lying even though she isn’t.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/25 04:22 PM

One way of knowing is that a large percentage of men haven’t involved past the “can’t give your guy friend a hug because it’s gay” mentality. Men as a whole are still generally obsessed with displaying masculinity. They have to bottle up every emotion that’s perceived as weakness, or else they will be ostracized. Putting on a facade can be incredibly alienating. I’ve seen so many men on Reddit saying things like “therapy is for women” or “men don’t talk about their feelings.” When men feel like …

It's not always malicious, but if it's a pattern of behavior with an unwillingness to improve yourself, now it's just willfully incompetent. And that depends entirely on the relationship dynamic if that's permissible. But if things are meant to be a shared chore, and you consistently fail to complete the task on your own, it's likely an issue that needs addressed. Exactly. Sometimes, it's obviously malicious; sometimes, it's not. However, not everyone sees it this way and is convinced it's alway…
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/25 06:50 PM
16

Yes we can be bad at things, that doesn’t mean we don’t also weaponize incompetence, I know I do. This is a rational take which not everyone has. You can see it in this very comment section. These people think only the latter can be true. OP is debating that that is a sexist belief because it applies an unfair generalization to men. It assumes that men are inherently competent and should be able to handle everything on their own.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/25 06:39 PM
0

My point is that every scenario is different and that it's not always done with malicious intent. To claim that 99.9% of the time a man can't do something and needs his wife to help is weaponized incompetence; you would have to be some kind of omnipresent mind-reading god. It's also sexist because it implies men are inherently competent and should be able to handle everything on their own, while also assuming they must be manipulating and deliberately avoiding responsibility.

The reality is most people who call their partner while at the store aren’t doing it because they want to hear their voice.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/25 05:54 PM
5

If your gf lays around the house all day I can see how it wouldn’t be a big deal. But if your partner specifically asked you to pick something up at the store because they’re really busy at work, calling them instead of asking the store clerk is ludicrous.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/25 05:45 PM
4

They would rather talk to a stranger because it would prevent adding the mental load onto the person you love.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/25 05:40 PM
4

u/Mydragonurdungeon’s mentality is a perfect example of weaponized incompetence. They’re acting like they’re all about husband and wife helping out each other but refuse to acknowledge that asking the store clerk instead of calling the wife is helping each other out.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/25 05:17 PM

A clerks job is to help people find things in the store.

/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/25 05:10 PM

I'm not deciding anything. I'm sure there have been many times when it's both. In those cases, I actually think it's cute that they wanted to hear their significant others' voice. All I am saying is that there will absolutely be times that have NOTHING to do with wanting to hear your partner's voice, and it boils down to incompetence. Not saying that this is the case 99.9% of the time, but it happens. In that case, they should ask a store employee for help. You suggested this exact same thing in…
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/25 04:48 PM

Yes, and I’m specifically referring to cases where someone is calling their partner to ask where something is, not because they wanted to hear their voice.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/25 04:25 PM

Yes. They should ABSOLUTELY figure it out for themselves and be self sufficient like any mature adult. Why bother calling your partner when you can just ask a store clerk who is already there to begin with?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/25 04:23 PM
10

It’s not about it being an inconvenience to you, it’s about it possibly being an inconvenience to the other party. That’s where self sufficiency and critical thinking comes in.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/25 04:19 PM

Or maybe he’s simply incompetent. A lot of people are. And they don’t do it on purpose.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/25 04:09 PM

Oh please, this isn’t “he loves her and would rather talk to her” - he’s trying to get out of doing it next time or is so unengaged he’s not thinking critically. Do you have a source that shows this?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/25 04:07 PM
2

Yup, this is why I find it hilarious when men go on to call women out for being shallow. Unlike women, men would still have sex with an ugly women, and because of that, they like to pat themselves on the back and think of themselves as the more empathetic, more moral, and less shallow gender.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/25 06:13 PM
13

Yup, I remember when I was young there was a point where I thought I was so cool for having older men interested in me. That didn’t last long but it’s something I’ve heard so many women express before.

This is what I don’t get. How are people gonna get upset over their date expending them to drop thousands of dollars on a date when that’s their type?!
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/25 01:18 AM

Do you think the majority of average women expect a guy to drop $1000 on a first date? I can see that being the expectation with high-maintenance women. The kind that spend thousands of dollars on their looks and want to only date famous football players, rock stars, and successful entrepreneurs. However, that’s not an average woman. Unless you’re only into those kinds of chicks, you’re going to encounter a lot of normal women who don’t expect lavish first dates.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/25 01:15 AM
2

I’m sorry, I wasn’t trying to mean anything malicious by using the word “picked.” That was not my intent. It’s just that when I see men talking about women not being attracted to the majority of men, it tells me that that man hasn’t experienced women be attracted to them. So I was just curious what you think it is about you that has left you out of that 10%?

I’m not the person you asked. You can’t choose, that is the whole problem. This is vague and can be interpreted in many different ways. The less detail we put in our messages, the more likely it will be misinterpreted by others. Your comment reminds me of a post on AIO yesterday of a girl who shut off the Super Bowl all because her bf asked if she could run the store to grab some more beer. So many of the women were up arms going “how dare he” and “I shouldn’t have to do things for my partner that I don’t want!” It was insane! It’s so sad how many people still continue to have an independent mentality after getting in relationships. They should be a partnership.

It’s honestly sad how society as a whole continues to reinforce outdated ideas about masculinity. I know there has been progress in terms of getting men to acknowledge there is value in certain traits like vulnerability, but so many of the stereotypes still linger. I really hope there is a future in where men and women stop believing these irrational ideas.

What I don’t get are the men who act like talking to women is a world of its own. It’s not. If you’re able to socialize with people of your own group and treat them like a human, it demonstrates you have some sort of social skills, which means you should also be able to apply those skills when you interact with members of the other group.

I was in the military as well and there is a reason women were called bag nastys. Stop pretending women in the field are super hygienic. I’ve personally seen them having sex in port-o-potties. Yes women are just as disgusting. Can you point out where I said otherwise? The person I replied to was specifically asking about men, that’s why I only talk about men.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/25 10:20 PM

But that’s not reflective of the average man that women actually date. I agree. I was just responding their question.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/25 08:46 PM

I feel like it would be the equivalent of dating an obese woman who refuses to take any steps in life to become healthier because “men are shallow.” It’s void of logic. Why would a man be attracted to that in the first place? They wouldn’t.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/25 07:09 PM
4

What kind of woman would be attracted to a man who refuses to leave a min wage part time job all because “woman shallow.” Part of me wants to believe this is made up because there’s no way someone could be this dumb.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/25 07:06 PM
5

I mean he said his friend chooses not to get a better job because woman are shallow. Meaning he’s able to better his life but chooses not to because he would rather stick it to women. That tells me he has the maturity level of a 16 year old. I don’t know how man or woman could be attracted to that kind of childish behavior.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/25 07:03 PM

Then this contradicts the idea that women care more about a man’s hygiene than his looks.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/25 05:22 PM
5

he doesn’t seem to want to change jobs or get another one. I keep telling him that it’s understandable for a woman nit to want to date someone who makes so little but apparently he thinks it’s shallow still. His mentality is 100x worse than how much he makes. He would rather play games just so he can stick it to woman instead of growing the hell up. This would be an instant dealbreaker for me. He thinks he’s being such a hard ass for not changing jobs but he still dates these “shallow” women whi…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/25 05:18 PM

Women are still going to pick the guy with looks and hygiene over the guy who only checks the hygiene box.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/25 04:27 PM

For me it just sounds bizarre to read advice all the time about how men should have better hygiene when I don’t see it and I never even heard it from women complaining about dates. This is actually the first time I’ve heard someone say hygiene is more important than looks. For me, they’re equally important. Good hygiene is part of having good looks. I’ve never had an issue where the guy I was hooking up or dating had terrible hygiene because I’ve never been attracted to guys who look unhygienic …
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/25 04:11 PM

I get we have different experiences. I wasn’t trying to invalidate yours. But you did ask where these men are at, and I responded.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/25 03:53 PM

I was in the military and the amount of times some of the men would not shower after days out in the field was astonishing. Sometimes we even had sergeants forcing soldiers to go get showers. I never saw the same pushback from women.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/25 03:43 PM
2

I think those kinds of women suck. One of my cousins with 4 kids got kidnapped a few years ago. How’s the mother doing? She’s dating a guy who beats her and the kids. She will leave them at home all day (oldest one is about 10) so she can go drinking with the bf and her friends. I have no idea how she’s so comfortable bringing such terrible men into her children’s lives. It’s disgusting. I would never bring strange men around my kids.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/25 08:20 PM

I don’t get tired of compliments because I rarely get them (last time was from a little girl at the airport). I’ll get complimented once a year and when it happens it’s more like 90% not trusting and 10% appreciative. If I was constantly being complimented, that’s when I’d start becoming unphased. If anything, I’m actually in a point in my life where I wish men would cat call me!

I have a problem with them in the sense that I think their way of thinking is wrong. But I would never tell them they’re obligated to anything. I’m still curious though, who or what told you that giving money to the homeless is an obligation?

I asked about moral obligation. It’s one thing to be raised in a household that teaches you about morals. It’s another to think everyone is obligated to the have the same morals. I can donate, help at shelters, give money to the poor, etc. while simultaneously acknowledging that others have absolutely no obligation to do the same. I personally think being against an entire group of people is silly and void of logic. However I know there are thousands of people who do so. I can go ahead and prete…

I find it really ironic that society will tell men that its unhealthy to bottle up their emotions and they need an outlet, and will tell men that they should seek help and go to therapy when they’re depressed. And how do you know both of these things are coming from the same group of people?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/25 03:12 PM
1

I personally don’t know any of these women but I wouldn’t doubt that they exist. People come in all sorts of varieties. Insisting on viewing a group as a monolith is flawed. No large group is completely homogeneous.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/25 03:05 PM
1

Are you saying that the average woman makes online profiles just to get attention? That’s a pretty serious generalization. I’m guessing you have a source right?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/25 02:54 PM
5

Oddly enough, this was something I was thinking about today. I don’t think it’s exclusive to women (not saying you’re saying this) because I’ve experienced the same with men on here and on other subs. I think it’s because those people just want to argue. They’re not here to change their perspectives. They just want to confirm their own beliefs and win arguments. I know I’m guilty of this and I’m almost positive you are too! You’re doing it in your post title!
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/25 02:11 AM
2

I’m as calm as you. So the “calm down” card is unnecessary. I guess I just find it weird when people pretend large groups are homogenous. I don’t understand it. Is it laziness? Do you strongly identify with a feminist perspective that resents the stereotype of women being attention seekers? Are you afraid of being ostracized by other women? Do you think your personal experience is the universal truth? Do you not want to change your personal beliefs? If it’s none of these, then what?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/25 02:06 AM
2

Oh you mean just like you have been? If you’re going to give advice, the least you could do it follow it yourself in the first place.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/25 01:48 AM
5

What’s average weight to you? I’m asking just to make sure you’re not a troll. Because I was just talking to a guy who was saying a 5% bf makes a woman “chubby,” which is insane because not even female athletes have that low of a bf.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/25 01:07 AM
3

Unless you are some omnipresent god, there is absolutely no chance you know exactly what every single woman on the planet wants. However, based on your user name and flair, it’s clear you are trolling so it makes sense that you would make nonsensical claims.

It’s one thing to not be a woman like that. It’s another to try to speak on behalf of a million woman and pretend like women like that don’t exist.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/25 11:17 PM
4

Yes, it’s a real question. I’ve personally never been that kind of woman nor have I ever met a girl in real life that admitted to doing to that kind of thing. I use social media to look at pictures of dogs, buy crafts, and get outfit inspiration. Because I don’t seek/consume content posted by narcissistic women, I’m not familiar with every single one of their behaviors. So sorry for not knowing that there are women out there who make profiles just for attention. It’s so foreign to me that it did…
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/25 11:12 PM

Im confused by OPs title. Is he asking this to women who don’t care about being in a relationship or the ones who do. Because if it’s the former, why would a woman have on online dating profile if it’s not for hooking up or finding a LTR?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/25 07:30 PM
4

Oh yeah, I agree 100%. That’s so annoying! I wonder what percentage of people are able to experience initial attraction. I feel like it’s would be the majority. I think it’s messed up to shame people for something that’s inherent and harmless. Like the first time I ever felt initial attraction to someone was when I was around 5. I know millions of people could say the same. So its ingenious to pretend like initial attraction = only wanting their body.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/25 07:13 PM
3

Same. I still remember my first crush ever. It was in 1st grade. The instant I saw him I was all “so cute!” So it’s weird to think about someone going their entire life never experiencing that.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/25 07:04 PM
11

I feel the same way you do. But apparently there are people who genuinely don’t experience an initial attraction to anyone. So all they can do is wait and see if some kind of chemistry develops. They function differently than you, so waiting for them isn’t a waste of time.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/25 06:45 PM

The biggest perpetrators of the “men can’t show emotions” trope are other men.

12-20% bf is normal for athletes. This is why I can’t take some guys seriously. They call 5% bf “chubby.”
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/25 04:16 PM
1

Okay now I know you’re a troll. 5% body fat is extremely unhealthy. Anything under 10% can lead to hormonal balances, bone loss, and infertility. The fact that you’re calling 5% fat women “chubby” just shows how superficial you are. Not even athletes have body fat that low.

I just checked out CamSoda, StripChat, SinParty, LiveJasmin, Streamate, and Bongacams and the majority of girls on the front page are in shape and have the bimbo aesthetic (not natural). There were maybe one or two girls in there who were a little chubby. One time I asked a guy on here if men who follow those types of women on social media are aware that those women have narcissistic and aren’t gf/wife material. It’s not about language. All it is is you didn’t put sufficient information in your comment so people can understand you correctly. “Hello lawsuit. Ugly men hitting on hot women, what could go wrong?” is going to be interpreted differently by each person.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/25 01:22 AM

Maybe not CEOs but we have women like Ice Spice with no actual talent who have been planted in the music industry just so they can bring in money by showing off their bodies.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/25 07:29 PM

They only pay attention to the hottest women, while simultaneously making comments like “the majority of Western women are overweight” while also claiming they’re the less superficial ones. It’s hilarious.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/25 07:24 PM

There are more male simps than female simps. Men want women more than women want men. As long as this is the case, women will always get more attention.

Yes of course. That would no longer be 50/50 though.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/25 04:24 PM

This is why it annoys me whenever I bring up the unhinged comments that get posted by men, other men will try to defend them by saying things like “it was a joke,” or “it doesn’t represent the majority of men.” I then go on to say that either of those things shouldn’t matter because hateful takes that get posted online still have a real life consequence. But nope, that always gets downvoted.

An equal partnership would mean that you both have to contribute to finances equally. Which doesn’t seem very fair if you make significantly less than your partner. It would also mean that you have to contribute exactly the same around the house which wouldn’t be fair if you work 12 hours a day, and your partner works 5. And these are just some examples, there are other ones as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/25 11:56 PM

This black at white thinking isn’t it. Thinking the absolute worst all because someone doesn’t have friends say A LOT MORE about you than them. With that way of thinking, not only are you going to cut out crazy women, but you’re going to cut out women who aren’t crazy but have things like autism and social anxiety.

Do you actually believe he's the only guy with that mentality when there are 4 billion men on the planet? I mean, I'm sure you've heard of the Taliban. People treat each other like crap for things like gender, religion, and sexual orientation all the time. So, I'm not sure why it's hard to believe that humans are capable of doing the same when it comes to outer appearance.

Exactly. That was my whole point! You care in an abstract sense, but it’s a different kind of care. What I don’t get is why are they so adamant on acting like all men are that way? Because I’ve seen men insisting things like “all men think about having sex with every woman they see,” but I know that’s not the case. Yet I have had arguments with men suggesting all men do it. It’s not enough for them to speak for themselves. They feel the need to speak on behalf of all men. They’re just shooting themselves in the foot when they do it.

Having contradictory beliefs, wants, etc. are what make us human. Every single human has them, including you. It’s sad to bring out the pitch forks for something that everyone does. It’s also quite innocent. It’s not like people are doing it purpose to confuse one another. It just happens. Humans aren’t robots, so it doesn’t make sense to judge each other so harshly. You are making a mountain out of a molehill just so you have something to be irritated by and justify your biases with.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/25 12:11 AM

I wonder if that’s because some men consider having high standards an exclusively female characteristic. So they don’t want to be associated with it in any way. It reminds me of the multiple men on Reddit I’ve seen making absolute statements and saying things like “Men don’t need to socialize”, “Men aren’t emotional.” All of which are inherently part of being human. So when they say these things, they’re insinuating they’re superior in some manner and that needing connection and being emotional …

Nowhere am I saying you hate women. But the women you’ve described in your post are objectively terrible woman to be in relationships with. So I’m wondering, why do you want to chase those kinds of women? And you intentially wrote it in a way where you’re basically declaring all women are like that. So if your post is how women are, which is revolting, I don’t know how someone could turn around and say “chasing them is fun!”
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/25 05:38 PM
6

The mentality of knowing that being yourself is the best because it weeds out those you wouldn’t be compatible with. It’s much more practical than “I can’t be vulnerable because women don’t like that.”
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/25 05:30 PM
7

So you made an entire post with multiple paragraphs about how you’ve met women online and how dating them was horrible. But now suddenly you change your tune and it’s “chasing women is fun!” So which one is it?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/25 05:23 PM
3

I guess I must be a dude then.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/25 05:10 PM

It’s honestly sad that this mentality is rare. Well at least on Reddit. Or so it seems.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/25 04:59 PM

Wouldn’t calling it a shit test imply that that’s not how you really act?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/25 04:54 PM

Turning it around and making your partner to be the bad guy is not normal behavior but borderline psychotic. And of course immature women like this exist but they aren’t in the majority. I mean just reading your description of this hypothetical woman made my skin crawl.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/25 04:48 PM

So aka it’s not that one group is more unstable than the other. They’re both unstable (it’s human nature, we aren’t robots), it just manifests differently.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/25 04:35 PM
21

If you’re vulnerable from the get go, you will weed out the women who don’t like vulnerable guys. When I was dating my husband, it was less than a year in when he confessed something about his past he had been keeping a secret. He cried while telling me about it. What he told me broke my heart. I hugged him so hard and cried along with him. Not a single fiber in my body felt disgust towards him. All I wanted to do is hold him. We exist. I promise.

You’re absolutely right about women. It’s great to hype a friend up. But there’s a time and place for that. I have witnessed women gassing up other women for having multiple baby daddies, which is INSANE. It’s a selfish take and horrible advice. I’ve gotten told I’m “not a girls girl” all because I told a woman that having 5 baby daddies isn’t good for their kids. I’m wondering, do some guys gas each other up when it comes to making terrible decisions like women do? For some reason I feel like m…

Sorry, I disagree especially since in the last 24 hours there has been at least one post made about women needing to pick better on this sub. Here is one of them: https://np.reddit.com/r/PurplePillDebate/s/gk3VcsOXjP While there are tons of people who disagree with the premise, there are also people who agree. There are 8 billion humans on the planet. It makes no sense to act like nobody tells women to pick better.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/25 08:33 PM
16

Both men and women get told to pick better when they describe having a history of bad partners. They acknowledge this, and therefore make an effort to do better by raising their standards. As for single mothers, don’t they get ridiculed for picking bad fathers? In this case, it doesn’t make sense to demand that those women lower their standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/25 08:12 PM
6

Neither will I but that’s not what I’m referring to. What I am talking about is if every guy you get in a relationship happens to be low effort or lazy, then you should take responsibility in choosing those men.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/25 08:08 PM

The slowest is going to look different for every man. There is not a universal answer. That’s why asking men something so individual and trying to apply it to your future dating prospects won’t work.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/25 06:18 PM
8

I can’t debate this because it’s a sentiment I have held for quite some time. If a women’s partners have a pattern of not meeting her standards, then there’s a chance that the problem lies within her. The same logic should apply to men AND women.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/25 05:47 PM
1

I can see that’s what you were doing. Technically, “promiscuous” is a descriptive term used for someone who has a lot of sexual partners, which seems like that’s the case so your usage of the word is correct.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/25 05:43 PM
-1

People who use “white knight” in context like these are just showing their true colors. They’re projecting. They can’t phantom empathizing with the other sex, because they see them as less than. They personally would never stand up for a woman unless they were to get something in return for it. So when they see you standing up for women, they project their biases, assume you’re doing it for ulterior motives, and the name calling starts.

No not men. Just that man in particular.

This is your interpretation of the teen category, and it’s based on your assumptions and personal feelings. It does not represent the millions of men who consume porn or their motives. You cannot project your own reasoning onto others and expect it to hold as universal truth. There are thousands of men with pedophilic tendencies, and to dismiss the possibility that many use the “teen” category to cater to those impulses is disingenuous. And while you argue that the category is about “feminine, t…

/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/25 01:00 AM

It doesn’t feel like oppression though. It’s not even a slap across the face. It’s just witnessing in-group bias play out in real time which is a completely natural human behavior.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/25 03:10 PM

Why do you think this is? I have experienced the same from men. If I bring up any issue I have with my husband, the default is for them to immediately side with him, and assume the worst from me.

Let’s be real. Unless it’s related to a charity or helping those in need, the majority of people who post online do it to get some kind of validation. However, there are lots of us who barely post online. I haven’t posted a selfie online in 5 years. I rarely post my personal life online because I don’t need validation like I once did when I was 16. /r/PurplePillDebate12/01/25 05:43 PM

Yup, there’s variance. I remember a woman came on here asking men if they’ve ever found a woman unattractive but then eventually became attracted after getting to know her. There were a lot of men being adamant that men as a whole don’t work like that. Meanwhile there were some men sharing their stories proving otherwise. Men aren’t a monolith and I really wish they would stop acting like they are. And yes, not all men act like this.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/25 05:37 PM

I’ve had arguments with men on here insisting that men don’t become attracted to women over time. Obviously not all men are like this, but there are 4 billion men on the planet so of course some of them are going to think that.

It’s a coping mechanism of some sort. I feel like these people have a “dog eat dog world” mentality. I’ve experienced it from both men and women on here.

What precautions should babies, children, and elderly folks take so they don’t get raped?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/25 01:05 AM

Yes, you are correct. But once again, they don't care about any of this. I'm guessing it's because they've had nothing but bad experiences, so they've become jaded. Who knows. Personally, I like giving people the benefit of the doubt and not assuming the worst in people. But I know not everyone is like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/24 04:34 AM

There is no way to know for certain. That’s just the gamble one takes when pursuing both romantic and friendly relationships. It’s an inherent part of life. What you can control is your mindset. It’s up to you if you go into every possible interaction assuming the absolute worse or not. Personally, I like to think positive and prefer to give people the benefit of the doubt. However I know not everyone is like me. If being more cautious has worked out for you, then keep doing you!
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/24 03:42 AM

The reality is a lot of these men just don't want to end up as one of the guys she makes wait for sex. They think, "Well, she didn't make any of those other guys wait, so why should I put up with that?" They don't care about the human complexities. If she's not instantly jumping his bones, then BYE ho!
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/24 01:51 AM

When I'm attracted to someone, I will want to fuck them. I would not be going on multiple dates with somebody if I wasn't attracted to them. So if I'm not fucking them on the very first date, it's because I'm afraid of coming off as a sleaze. We think they're going to judge us and that it could ruin our chance at an LTR. I know that's the case for a lot of women. So we wait for a few dates.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/24 01:40 AM

I can't imagine passing on a woman who never has sex on the first date all because *some* women happen do.

I understand what you’re trying to say but her profession requires her to give services that are inherently personal and nuanced. This isn’t a gendered thing. Humans in general crave to be desired. If heterosexual men suddenly stopped being attracted to women, stopped pursuing them, etc. women would start to feel the same as a lot of men do. I’ve seen a lot of posts by WOMEN expressing how depressed they are because they’re ugly and men aren’t interested. However a lot of women are so caught up in all the attention they get, that they are incapable of stepping outside of their own lived experiences.

You’re right that people aren’t loyal to morality. But non-religious people aren’t pretending to be nice in hopes of getting to heaven.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/24 06:42 PM

The funny thing is though a lot of those religious people don’t actually have morals. They just like to pretend they do so they can look down on those who aren’t religious. That’s why we see them on the news for heinous crimes like trying to have sex with minors. Not saying they’re all like this, but in my experience those who boast their religion are full of shit.

Yeah I believe both men and women should want to remain attractive for their parents. I have been working out and eating right since I was 16 and haven’t stopped since. If anything being married has motivated me to work even harder.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/24 10:09 PM

It does depending on who you talk to. Everyone has their own definition of feminism these days.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/24 07:35 PM

This applies to everything in life. Some people need to believe in a god in order to behave in socially appropriate ways. Some people have morals without needed to follow religious systems because its simply what feels right to them. Others have absolutely no morals which we see on the news everyday.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/24 06:46 PM

If someone is worried about this I would suggest pursuing women who consistently workout, don’t eat like a cow (not hard), and drinks very little.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/24 06:39 PM

How long after having sex with them do you offer to help around their house? If it’s only after a few times, I think maybe they’re weirded out by it because almost no one does that. If that were to happen to me, I think I would be pretty stoked if the guy I was hooking up with offered to clean my yard. But then again it’s possible that depending on the circumstances it would weird me out as well!
/r/PurplePillDebate24/12/24 07:32 PM
1

I have a feeling if you’re offering to help them around the house and they’re getting mad about it, they’re the super independent “boss bitch” types. They’re the kind that “don’t need no man” so they don’t appreciate you coming into their home like some kind of unsolicited handyman. Not saying that’s what you are, just that’s how they see you.

I agree with all of this and it honestly annoys the crap the crap out of me how many people are all about tit for tat. It’s just creating a gender war. Which reminds me of the Madison shooter yesterday. Apparently someone released a fake manifesto to make it look like the reason she became a shooter was because of men. It’s crazy because people believe it even though it fake.

At no point was I trying to argue that all men are like that. Just that for a certain type of man who spends his time on Reddit, it would be a win for him if all women suddenly became massive sluts. It seems like you’ve assumed I think you’re one of these men. You’re clearly not. So, if the shoe doesn’t fit, then obviously don’t wear it.

I’m not gonna lie. As a woman I’m a little salty how one of the main things we are valued for is something we have zero control over and can’t be prevented. Aging is inevitable. We can do everything in our power to lessen its effect (exercise, low sugar, etc), but none of that takes away from the fact at 30 we will be perceived as having less value than a 20 year old. Meanwhile, the same doesn’t apply to men. Sorry I don’t expect a reply. I just felt like venting a little.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/24 11:57 PM

Yes, they are. You asked how many homeless women I see outside so I was just giving you an honest answer. I live in a city downtown which has lots of homeless people so of course I’m going to come across at least one woman when I go out everyday. I know they aren’t the majority though.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/24 11:22 PM

Yeah you’re right. Let’s be real, the only women people here are thinking about are the small of women who are young and hot.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/24 11:15 PM

On multiple comments men are listing schools and jobs so clearly a lot of men believe it’s way more than dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/24 11:13 PM

They don’t care about women who aren’t worshipped because those women aren’t as hot and young
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/24 11:12 PM

At least once every day.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/24 11:11 PM

Tbh I’m a woman and I haven’t experienced any of those things just for simply existing.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/24 11:01 PM

They’re specifically talking about dating. They’re saying that when it comes to that, it’s easy mode. Nowhere are they saying that their life is easier in every aspect. Please let’s stop trying to assume the worst case scenario.

I don’t believe it’s a “dire path” so nothing.

You’re not supposed to…
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/24 05:07 PM

Ah no. I’m talking about the men who feel exactly the same way women do. The men in the comments disagreeing with you.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/24 01:48 AM

Oh I know it is. But people love bringing up typos to put people down on here.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/24 04:52 PM

They do though! Look at all the threads of women saying they do. But let me guess, they’re lying!
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/24 04:51 PM

Do you think the men here are mad as well? Why would they be mad?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/24 04:47 PM

Skincare 100% is a factor in how you age. And by skin I mostly mean sunscreen. A lot of stuff women use, like collagen cream, is useless. It’s not the whole picture. But it’s part of it just like genetics, exercise, drinking water, and sugar consumption.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/24 04:45 PM
2

Yes you did. The person you replied to was talking about how women don’t need men in their romantic life, to which your response was “I don’t need no man, is a lie.”

Everytime toxic female influencers are brought up on this sub the knee jerk ppd female reaction is "just don't watch them, they are in your algorithm for a reason" etc Which is totally opposite reaction they have for tate or whatever male equivalent. They are actively not acknowledging other women are watching this content. It's not full on denial but it's pretty close. Yes, and I believe they are wrong about this. So many women are in denial about a lot of things, and trust me, it irritates the…

Yes. Tons of men get influenced by rage bait as well. What conclusion do we get out of this? Lots of people are highly influenced by the media. But the good news is there are people who know better. We should ignore those in the former category and place our energy on those in the latter.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/24 05:22 PM

You literally just said that a woman who says she doesn’t need a man romantically is lying. Why do you refuse to believe them? Why do you think they’re lying?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/24 05:19 PM
18

I think it’s their way of making fun of them for wanting an intelligent man while being unable to spell.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/24 04:54 PM
10

Sounds like you’re into the idea of forcing women to be romantically interested in you.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/24 04:43 PM
12

Yeah those women are coocoo in the head. The bad part is that people watch those kinds of videos and then assume every woman is mentally ill.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/24 04:36 PM

Those women say otherwise because they’re not u/SeveralSadEvenings. Some have no difficulty getting others to commit. While others do. Who could have thought?!
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/24 04:23 PM

Find a woman you actually like, be in a relationship with her, and report back to us.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/24 04:16 PM

Yes this is true. I have noticed people on both sides have a habit of using the insane takes they see online to create amalgamations of entire groups.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/24 04:07 PM
12

Does OP actually believe it's all women though? What they're describing in their post correctly applies to a lot of mentally unstable women. We should be able to discuss them instead of dismissing the discussion with "Not all women!"
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/24 01:23 AM

Sorry but I do not believe someone like that has sufficient self awareness. My hope was that she would see the comment and that it would make her think about her future choices since she clearly has not in the past. However I realize that it’s a drop in the bucket and she’s going to keep doing what she wants.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/24 12:35 AM

What’s misandrist about my comment? I’m merely pointing out that people are incapable of discussion whenever the topic of their group saying foul things towards the other group comes up.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/24 12:31 AM
3

Oh yeah. That whole thing is one giant eye roll for me.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/24 12:27 AM

The whole sisterhood, girls girl mentality a lot of women have. Instead of giving their friends advice, they will cheer her on despite her making dumb choices. It’s toxic. I’ve gotten told I wasn’t a “girls girl” because I told some woman that having 5 baby daddies wasn’t good for her children.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/24 09:08 PM

I 100% agree that deflecting should be added. But I really don’t know if women do it more than men. I wish people would actually address the points being made instead of going “X group does it too! All it does is shut the conversation. There is a time and place for everything. This thread is about the faults of WOMEN. If someone wants to derail and bring men into this, they should just start their own thread instead of commenting things like “sOuNdS lIkE tHe MeN oF pPd.”
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/24 09:03 PM

Who knew?! Being hot means women will want to fuck you. If a dude is already ugly, idk how him being “indifferent” is going to suddenly make women’s panties wet.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/24 06:04 PM
5

Yeah it seems like posts about “indifference” are coming out of the woodworks. I think it’s important that the definition is defined first because I’ve seen people on this sub use the word in different ways.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/24 06:01 PM

Is this something you’ve experienced yourself?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/24 05:53 PM

Can you point out where I am “mistaken” when all I did was repeat the results of a well known study. It is a fact that those men were angered. I brought it up to show that someone being indifferent to you isn’t as bad as some are making it to be when some men are literally angered by ugly women. So I really have no idea how I could be “mistaken.”
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/24 05:46 PM

I’m confused. How is a man who treats people like an option, doesn’t put effort in, and just uses women for sex, “above” anyone?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/24 05:07 PM

What does caring about people in a “general” sense look like in your opinion?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/24 05:05 PM

OP is a 32 year old virgin and upset about it so he’s here venting. Not getting any attention or being in a relationship really takes a toll on some.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/24 04:56 PM

I was not responsible for the study. If you have a problem with the results of a study, take it up with the scientists.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/24 04:54 PM

You seem to be in a lot of pain. I think it would help to reach out to a professional and use them to vent your frustrations. These types of subs will only further mess with your state of mind. It would do you much better to talk to a therapist because they have the resources and tools to help you.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/24 03:53 AM
12

Yeah, I see what you mean. And you're right, I am projecting and being biased. I think this is because I see a lot of this from men online: 1.) Venting about not being desirable/wanting to be in a relationship 2.) Insisting that all men fantasize about having sex with every woman they come across 3.) Insisting that sex is a biological need Meanwhile, the attitudes displayed by some women are: 1.) They're happy they're finally at the age where men aren't as interested in them as much 2.) Male att…

I have an idea why you feel my self-awareness is low. Is it because you think me "bringing up all the foul crap men say" is me treating someone "based on the merits of others." I am being a hypocrite. Am I right? If not, could you clarify why you think I have low self-awareness?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 11:04 PM

I absolutely cannot stand this mentality. It's always tit for tat. I always treat men with respect and dignity unless they give me a reason not to. I am very civil with all the men I talk to online. Yet every.single.time I bring up all the foul crap men say it's "wOmEn Do It ToO." Like yes, I know there are some toxic, mentally ill women out there who spew hate, but I AM NOT ONE OF THEM. I don’t see what’s so bad about women being indifferent towards men when they’ve done studies with men that prove that they’re literally angered by unattractive women. Women’s lives don’t revolve around men as much as men’s lives revolve around women. I mean just going off of what a lot of men say on here, a lot of men think about every woman they come across in a sexual manner, regardless if she’s old, fat, etc. Women don’t and for some reason lots of men see this as “woman are sooooo mean!”
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 07:38 PM

I’ll speak for myself. As a woman, hearing people talk shit about me 100% makes me want to prove them wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/24 07:13 PM

There’s a difference between straight up lying and insulting people though. Idk why people in this thread are acting like keeping your mouth shut isn’t an option.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/24 07:09 PM

I’m a believer in objective beauty. So if there’s an objectively ugly woman and someone is saying how “beautiful” she is, I will think they’re full of shit. If I find a woman appealing, you won’t catch me calling her beautiful, but you also won’t catch me insulting her because that’s extremely rude.

Freedom and rights is about the ability to make autonomous decisions and wanting fairness. It’s a fundamental aspiration by both men and women. While misandrist attitudes are based on hatred towards men as a group. The former is about uplifting individuals while the latter promotes division and hostility.

Why do women care about being called shallow so much? Men are shallow too. Who give a hoot. Lying isn’t going to keep them from calling you shallow. If anything, by behaving this way, not only are you shallow, you’re a liar as well.

“most men are attracted to most women” is interesting when every time you ask them what they want in a woman, they can’t pass up the opportunity to say “just don’t be fat” and then go on to talk about how the majority of women in the US are overweight.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/24 05:20 PM

Men care more about having defined abs than women do though.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/24 05:17 PM

This entire time I’ve been waiting for you to explain the logic and you still haven’t. You keep talking about it on a very macro level but you still haven’t discussed the individual blocks that build the logic. What’s the hold up?

I'm simply pointing out that the stats you provided don't logically support the conclusion that women marry with the goal of divorcing. It's not bad faith. I'm only questioning the reasoning behind your claim. So far, the connection between your statistics and your claim is still missing. If you have evidence showing that "dissatisfaction" isn't a real reason, I'm open to hearing it.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/24 04:06 AM

Because combining them with the stats where women consider 80% of men as below average in terms of attractiveness, clearly shows that their reason for marriage definitely wasn't attraction Sorry, I'm having trouble understanding. You just made a leap from divorce initiation rates to perceived attractiveness without directly bridging the gap. The 70-90% stat only shows who initiated the divorce. It doesn't indicate the intent at the time of the marriage. Women file due to a variety of reasons lik…

/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/24 02:48 AM

That makes sense. If someone said I’m not feminine, I wouldn’t mind it one bit. And I agree, it says a lot about the mentality of the other person. I have tits and a vagina. I’m a woman, so someone implying that I must be a man because I don’t fit their little box is truly irritating.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/24 05:47 PM

I wish people would stop saying that phrase. It’s incredibly hurtful. I have had men tell me I’m not a “real woman” due to certain characteristics and boy let me tell you, it felt terrible. I can’t imagine being a guy and hearing that all the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/24 05:13 PM

Can you provide your reasoning for choosing something different?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/24 08:13 PM

Idk. If my husband tells me he would prefer something, that’s the option I’m gonna pick. Men rightfully complain about women not being straightforward. This woman finally is and her dude just did the opposite of what she asked.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/24 08:00 PM
2

I’m sure some men flip flop to whichever one gives them the upper hand in the given moment. However, hopefully the guys that claim men are attracted to most women, aren’t also going around saying “just don’t be fat.” They’d be giant hypocrites for that.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/24 05:09 PM

Men on this particular sub frequently brag about not caring about any of those things to appear superior. If you wanted to conduct an experiment, go on r/AskMen and make a post asking them if they care. You’re going to see that a lot of men actually do care.

This is what makes me sad. So many people have turned to “an eye for an eye” mentality. Every time I’ve brought up men saying vile stuff about women, the response 99.9% of the time is “women do it too.” And it’s not just men. Women respond this way as well. I feel like the odd one out because no matter how many posts I comes across saying negative things about me, I still have no desire to take it out on men.

I think it’s obvious a lot of the guys on here want a woman who will say yes to every one of his wishes. Eventually women grow up and learn boundaries and what is best for them. This is very inconvenient for men. Has a career = masculine Not bubbly = masculine Assertive = masculine Anything that isn’t catering to his every wish is automatically brushed off as masculine. Idk if that person is married or not, but I feel bad for whatever girl ends up dating them.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/24 07:49 PM

A man can make the choice whether to not cater to a woman though. You’re acting like it’s an inherent part of life. It’s completely arbitrary.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/24 06:22 PM

Woman don’t want simps and betabuxes. That’s the whole reason why men are turning to AI. The attractive men that are drowning in women don’t have a need for AI.

You’re right, a lot of men will complain about that. But from my observations, I have not seen that many men on this sub list wisdom, emotional intelligence, etc. when asked what they value. The most common I’ve seen are youth and attractiveness and that’s it.

Some of these men are going to have social anxiety and depression. When you have that, of course you’re going to suffer a lot more than someone who had tons of social experiences growing up and is very outgoing. It doesn’t matter if you have lots of good traits. You’re going to struggle in ways that are unique to those that are unsocialized. And unfortunately for men, unlike women, that’s going to hinder them a lot more when it comes to the dating world. Yes I know that sucks, but life is unfair…

I get what you’re saying and it is annoying. I know this because that’s how some men act on here as well. When they talk about what men like or how men act, they talk about “we,” as if men were a monolith. But I have enough common sense know they’re not. I also think it’s annoying how someone will talk about their OWN preferences/experiences but then someone will chime in and go “but but but this one girl on TikTok” as if it’s supposed to disprove something. If it changes nothing, then they have to stop saying they love women. It’s a lie. Men say absolutely deranged stuff about women all the time. But when they want to appear superior and more virtuous, then suddenly women are so lovely and yadda yadda. They should stop being so fake.

Not a deal breaker. If I don’t know anything about him and he approached me, still not a deal breaker. There’s nothing inherently unattractive about wearing t shirts and sweatpants. I mean just by reading these comments you will see that people mean different things when they’re talking about social skills. For you it’s “knows how to have a fun conversation and flirt.” For a lot of people it’s not even that. It’s more like “can maintain eye contact and is able to talk to a cashier without freaking out.”
/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/24 06:59 PM

There’s nobody who will better understand the experiences of men than other men. Just like women who support other women because they’ve shared similar struggles, it makes sense that men would also benefit the most by seeking support from those who can relate to their challenges.

Yes, and the reason you perceive it as smugness is because you have a hard time believing people can genuinely care about each other. You’re going to get pushback people when you make harmful generalizations. It’s like trying to convince men that they’re all pedos or rapists. People aren’t going to react positively.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/24 12:41 AM

Yes, I know.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/24 12:37 AM

I was under the impression that escorts were a last resort for men who can't get sex. However, I have learned that successful men get escorts, too, but for different reasons.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/24 12:25 AM

The only reason you think I'm being smug is because you're projecting your own cynicism about moral behavior. You are skeptical about humans genuinely caring about one another, so you believe everyone is acting out of self-interest. This is why you're perceiving it as "self-righteousness."
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/24 12:17 AM

It's clear you have convinced yourself that all women are inherently after money, and nothing I say is going to change your opinion because you're just going to pick and choose what fits your narrative. I understand, though. It's easier to stereotype than to acknowledge the complexities of human relationships. Good luck!

Ah, so you're a sheep. You don't interact with women in real life and regurgitate what other bitter men say on social media. You have such low self-esteem that you can't have a conversation with a woman without putting them down. And you probably think I'm trying to insult you like you are here insulting women. But I'm not. I'm just pointing out how obvious it is you have insecurities. Your attitude proves it.

I'm honestly sorry that all the women you have encountered have only cared about your money.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/24 11:54 PM

I was offering two perspectives regarding escorts. In my first statement, I'm just acknowledging that it's possible for a man to pursue escorts as long as they can mentally accept the transactional nature of it and can emotionally detach themselves from the situation. Why do I bring it up? Because many times, people are unable to do the latter and it does not end well. My second statement is my personal preference.

I came across a post on IG yesterday of a woman flexing her muscles. Some guy kept commenting that no matter how hard she tries, she will never be a man because she still has a period. He kept going on how strong he was and how much of a “real” man he was. Meanwhile some other guy way saying that the only reason women lift weights is because they want to be men. BUT then in another comment he said being feminine and not weight lifting is “inherently lazy.”
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/24 10:31 PM

People's beliefs aren’t created in a vacuum. Your lived experiences are the reason you believe what you believe. Your experiences have led you to believe that women cannot love men. You have convinced yourself of this to protect yourself. It's an unhealthy way of looking at the world. I am sorry you have gone through things that have led you to have a bleak outlook.

When a hot guy at the club picks up a random woman, he has no interest in who she is. Also, when a woman hookups with a random she doesnt really care who he is either. Can you clarify what connection this has to the first part of my comment? Your comment is regarding hot people. People who are attractive don't usually have to pay to get laid. My comment, on the other hand, is about unsuccessful men who have thought about getting escorts but are unable to mentally get past the idea that the woman…
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/24 09:54 PM

I see no problem with pursuing escorts if you can mentally get past the fact they’re interested in your money and not for who you are. For a lot of men, it’s a boner kill. I would not be interested in a relationship with a guy who has had a history of escorts though. I definitely don’t despise sexless men. Why would I? They have done nothing to me. It’s silly to despise someone for no reason.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/24 06:47 PM

Should I text him and tell him thank you If you texted him, he would have your number. Women have to stop with this whole “I don’t want to be rude” thing. You don’t need to thank some guy because he gave you his number. That’s silly. It’s not rude to express your boundaries. Show your bf some respect. Do not text that guy. It’s pretty simple. Idk why you are making it anymore complicated. Hopefully your BF isn’t on Reddit. I wouldn’t be too happy if my gf was entertaining the idea of texting thi…

The beauty is that reality doesn't only exist through one's lived experiences. Did you know some people don't have an inner monologue? You think so? Hmm idk. I’ve been to gyms where filming was not allowed and that didn’t stop them from getting jam packed. I feel like if they lost customers, it would just get cancelled out because people who don’t film are constantly becoming new members. I also think those IG thots who film themselves are a tiny percentage of gym goers. If they stopped going because of a ban, sounds like a win imo!

So men as a group must pay a price for a few criminals? Nope. I don't think this mentality is right. I can see what you mean. I think whether it's homophobic or not depends on how it's interpreted and the context. Personally, I don't think the quote by Marilyn Frye is claiming that heterosexual men have homoerotic feelings in a literal sense, but instead, it touches on the way men prioritize relationships with other men in regards to respect and admiration, while their relationships with women are reduced to more superficial roles. It's intent is to critique the patriarchy and male bonding, not…
