As a novice, I'd recommend you start with Stronglifts 5x5 (it's an app). Don't worry about bro-splits or push-pull yet, just get to a good place as far as form and basic benchmarks of strength go. After that, it depends on your goals. If you want to focus on being strong and athletic, probably look at push and pull.
