This is probably the best advice here. I firmly believe that MDMA awakened my inner belief that I can attract women, though I had (and still have, as I don't think it will ever fully go away) body dysmorphia. That said, the night I went out on it and finally had success, I had already put in years and years of work in regards to social dynamics, how to flirt, what to look for, etc. This allowed me to naturally become that confident, attractive man. MDMA is not a quick fix. However it can be an a…

This, this, this. After being talked into a touch of color by my stylist to better fit my style, I began getting female attention for the first time in my life. It has to do with other mental shifts as well, but the hair I feel made a huge difference.

I definitely appreciate the positive reinforcement. I'll tell ya though, getting laid really helps you realize this stuff for yourself. I'd think I'd laugh off being called ugly nowadays. Thanks again!

It may not be exactly what you are looking for OP, but up until a little under three weeks ago, I was absolutely convinced that I was too ugly to date. I have a few years worth of posts on this Reddit account that detail this struggle. It was actually body dysmorphia, which should have been obvious to me when I posted on /r/amiugly and got very positive reactions, but I still saw people giving me disgusted looks in real life, so I figured it was just pity from them. That was until three weeks ag…

I'm planning on doing the same thing myself. Anyone have any insight on the best types of locations where said single girls tend to flock? Thanks ahead of time!

/u/anthonymarkers covered it a lot better than I will I'm sure, but I'll try to give some insight. I notice a lot of negative wording, like you can't or you don't. I'm definitely not saying that this is the crux of the problem, but that kind of language is really self defeating. I won't pretend that I know what it's like to have ADD and mild Aspergers. My brother is in the spectrum as well, though I've never spoken to him about dating. I do however know quite a good deal about the hatred that ca…

That sums it up way more eloquently than I could possibly do myself. If you give yourself the out that you can't do it, well that's the definition of a self fulfilling prophecy.

Oh shit, I forgot to mention another guy at the meetup. Somehow dating was brought up between our end of the table, and the guy started whining about how no one wants a nice guy like him. He looks 5 years older than myself, but I didn't feel the least bit sorry at the time. I instead remember looking over at the blonde and sharing a "That's pathetic" glance at one-another and smirking. I could see the look of bitterness in his eyes after I got her phone number. My ego had never had such a delici…

Thank ya much! I was 22 when I began self-improvement overall, mainly focusing on fitness. I want to say I was 25 when I found RSD, and soon after the Seddit community, but I can't recall exactly when. I'm now three months into 30.

It may sound surprising, but I agree 100% with that. You may want to review my most recent posts instead of my older posts, as I really don't do that anymore, and I have habits in place to prevent that now. I'm not saying it's my looks, but I sucked shit with women before I thought they were an issue and I still do now. My original point still stands however, as figuring this out on my own is not working.

I get where you are coming from. You have to understand that there are some of us that cannot figure this stuff out, how ever much we try to improve our lives and make ourselves the best possible man. I am one of those people. I work out consistently every day, dress well, eat right, and have hobbies and interests that are enjoyable. I also put myself out there whenever I can to not only meet women, but people in general. Despite the numerous approaches I have attempted, I still cannot get a sin…

I feel you, and absolutely empathize. All we can do though is keep on trying or just be alone. What keeps me going is the feeling that we'll get when we finally breakthrough is going to be so much better than for other guys when we do so. Hope that comes soon for both of us. If you lived near Nashville, I'd buy you a beer and say we try fucking up together.

See though, I've been doing psych work for years now without any noticeable impact. I really don't want to just go on for years seeing therapist after therapist still feeling miserable that I cannot attract anyone for the life of me until I get too old to be able to attract a single female that I don't have to pretend is someone else to get aroused. The fact is that I'm getting old. I'm already 30. If 3 years of therapy over 3 different therapists has gotten me no where, I don't think it will he…

Duly noted about online dating. Thanks! I'll definitely keep that in mind. I'll need to bulk up again before doing it, but I imagine in a month I should be able to fill in my loose skin. Being social with males is something I've been working on for the past year or so, and though all the friends I've made are pretty...I hate the term but it's the most apt...beta. Still though it's a start and hopefully will make more progress in the future on it. That said, getting new friends is a much smaller …

I get what you're saying, but I don't think I've ever seen anyone research and try this as many times that I have and have almost a 0% success rate (yay for the morbidly obese!) and get consistently blown out in the first 30 seconds of the interaction, which makes me think that I'm deficient compared to other men. As much as I would like to travel, I have very little of my youth left so I'm afraid if I don't get this handled in the next year or two, I should just switch to /r/incel. I say fuck t…

Not disgusting as in ugly. I'm not ugly. However there is something inherently disgusting about me to women, which I cannot figure out. I'll admit it is a poor choice of words, and I apologize.

I should have been more clear, which is entirely my fault. I'm not actually referring to active flirting, which would be amazing, but just small iois like multiple glances to me and smiles before the approach, twirling of the hair, the pointing of her legs, and all the other basic ones. I couldn't even imagine being propositioned for sex. As for dating websites, I waisted so much time on them 5 years ago that I stopped bothering. I probably do have better style with my hair and a different style…

Thank you for the advice. Unfortunately that really isn't as much fat you're seeing as it is loose skin. When I stretch, my abs poke out quite visibly and I have a defined v. I honestly work out everyday to try to fill it out while taking phentermine to jack my metabolism and prevent hunger while doing daily intermittent fasting, but my past issues with eating really fucked my body up. I have some money saved up for skin tightening, but I decided to spend the money on the coaching if needed and …

I've seen three different ones, two of which for over a year and one of them I'm still actively seeing. She honestly believes that if I can experience women flirting with me and attracted to me that it could make a breakthrough, which is my primary motivation.

I don't mind posting a picture of my face even, but I'd be happy to. Obviously I don't have any photos of such a thing currently, so I'll need to have a friend take them or a hidden video. Probably won't be until Friday that I could organize it due to varying work schedules, but it's a good idea and something I'll definitely try. In regards to looks, it's not that I'm saying looks don't matter, but that I was able to finally confirm that it was all in my head with several people confirming that …

Also i saw you amiugly and please open paint and circle in bold red that major facial dysmorphia you keep talking about. I don't think you understand what body dysmorphia is, as it is a mental psychosis and not a deformity. I really cannot blame you as it is not a commonly known mental disorder. I am not saying that I have a messed up face. I am saying that I have a hugely messed up perception of what my face looks like.

I appreciate your input and especially your therapy. I actually am very familiar with Sean Stephenson, originally finding out about him from one of the David D. programs when I first got into this years ago. The guy is a damn inspiration. You're almost absolutely right though, and let me preface everything that I say that I now do not agree with this. This is how my brain previously worked, and the fact I can recognize this I am proud of. In years past however, I justified to myself that he was …

Thank you for the advice. In regards to CBT, I know the therapist I am currently seeing utilizes the practice, but that said, I will definitely look into exercises on my own to help with the thoughts as well. Regardless if it is a useful exercise, the mirror idea definitely would be worth a shot. Honestly my inner psychonaut is intrigued by this and is curious is a mild psychedelic like MDMA would help with this. Regardless this is an interesting idea, and I will absolutely explore this further …

Any advice about facial structure? I'm genetically repulsive in regards to bone structure, and it will take years for me to afford the money for facial reconstruction. I work out like a fiend, so that's not a problem. I also can't grow a nice beard to cover my face. Any tips on compensating for a hideous face?

I can assure you it is 100% honest. I do not whatsoever deny that I do have a huge chip on my shoulder about it, and have been working with a professional to try to get over a lot of my bitterness, which has been helping quite a bit. I promise you though that I've been called outright ugly a few times and almost every night get several nasty expressions from someone when they see me for the first time, mainly women. I've gotten make outs from 2 people though in the field over the past 7 years: b…

Amen. I always kept in shape, so fitness wasn't an issue, but my face is hideously ugly. I should have saved for plastic surgery when I was in my early 20s but didn't, and now that I'm near 30, I have way too many bills to pay and have to help take care of my parents to boot to consider it. Now I'm essentially forever alone due to that mistake, as no woman wants to be seen with me, let alone find me attractive. Not doing this has cost me women and made my life a personal hell with multiple suici…

Those these are great to build yourself as a overall person, most of these are either generic or have been repeated ad nauseam on every dating material I've seen. I can mark off most of these already, but still have near 0 success. Perhaps this advice is great for those or get initial attraction and just need to learn to build off it, but when women don't want to be seen with you, this really does not help much. Just my 2 cents.

I definitely appreciate the sentiment, especially for those who want a long term relationship. I'll be honest though, my goal is not to find "the perfect girl" (whatever that might be). I want to be found attractive and be the kind of guy that naturally attracts women. I obviously do not have any sort of illusion that I walk into a room and women flock to me or anything, but just to inspire attraction in woman after meeting them, at least for some of them. Either way, I am not sure how patient I…
