I kinda fell into the LTR tbh, but I enjoy being in it. I honestly much prefer this situation to my first year in which there was much more uncertainty as to whether I would find someone at the next party or someone to approach etc. I find that knowing I'll get laid at the end of the night to be a huge stress relief and I can focus on other things more. Unlike the past 2 years where I felt like I always had to be on the lookout for something, and then being able to act on opportunities quickly. …

A good amount of girls at parties aren't in Sororities actually

Well girls are invited by the frat as well as individuals. All the girls I invite are platonic tho. And I get the point of rapid escalation. Unfortunately, there's no way I can close without leaving and going back to hers or mine

Heard of people getting a pua rep on campus from cold approaching

I've heard of guys getting the pua rep on campus. Remember the 5th law of power: "So much depends on reputation - Guard it with your life." And everything that I'm involved in is because I myself enjoy it

Lifted throughout high school but I also run long distance so getting huge is not gonna happen. I'm 5'11" 150 lbs right now. I'm also usually the only black guy in the room, how do I play that? I would say my reputation (positive) precedes me. Just a freshman though so I'm still low on the totem pole, but I try. And I definitely hope I do not give off the thirsty vibe.

Very good and insightful post. Two questions though: What does a real rejection look like? The post seems to suggest that most all rejections are a test. And with the boyfriend excuse, is it best to just abandon set after that or keep trying? How can you tell if it's true or not while not wasting time?

Look into invisalign. I'm a college freshman with them right now and they work perfectly. You take them out to eat and brush your teeth. And they're impossible to see unless you're in the person's face.

That's my exact type as well, the Slavic and Mediterranean type with dark hair. Sucks too because they're so rare. My college has a boatload of Asians and blondes though, but those two types don't do it for me.

Good job. I would advise you not to set aside a whole time period or day just for approaching. Go through your life as usual (unless that means staying home the whole day) and approach as opportunities present themselves. Doing this, you won't feel like you wasted your day if you don't get any results, and the pressure will be greatly diminished. You will also be present in the moment, as other things will be on your mind besides approaching.

I've seen it on multiple trp threads. At least don't start and learn cold approaching on your own campus because of reputation. You could do it as long as it's minimal and not in a creepy way I guess. But truth be told, despite being on a campus of 20k, I see the same faces pretty often. I've come across the girls I've cold approached or seen at parties multiple times.

There are a million things to do in NYC bro. High Line is a great idea, but I'm sure there's stuff near you as well. Walk, drinks, food, museum etc.

Is cold approaching really that bad in college? I've only done it twice so far, and the first time led to my first date and kiss ever.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
