How good looking are you OP? I ask because I've been following this reddit for a while and have been studying PUA tactics for about 4 years and still haven't gotten a date What a bizarre comment. So many words and yet the word "approach" doesn't come up once. If we could go back four years, I would bet all my money that you would get a date if you spent that time approaching. Not even a crazy amount of that time, like Mystery, Style, and all the old-time PUAs. Maybe one approach a week or someth…

I pay attention so it's pretty damn unlikely that anyone would approach me AND pass me without me seeing them. I'm not saying the girl literally walks in front in you. I'm saying you see an attractive woman across the street or an attractive woman walks out of a store ahead of you. I don't necessarily mean approaching in the aggressive way that Paul Janka did in your example link. I mean merely approaching from a rear position like Paul Janka seemed to do here. Or how James Marshall approaches h…

I'm curious. Say you see an attractive woman walk by. You have to run up ahead of her to get her attention (or verbally get her to stop). How do you transition from that to using a situational opener? Both of your examples had you in stationary positions.

And there's nothing to disparage about interacting with people like a robot. If you wanna call it "interacting with people like a robot", go ahead. From what I've seen, "interacting with people like a robot" seems to work for most people. Police officers have prepared questions to interrogate suspects. Lawyers have prepared questions to cross-examine witnesses. Journalists and interviewers have prepared questions to ask their subjects. Professional speakers have prepared questions for their audi…

has come with repetition, and canned lines can't overcome that Canned lines certainly make it easier to repeatedly approach without having to think too much. If you're using your "I saw you walking past..." line for most of your approaches, you're using a canned line. You can be authentic and still use canned lines. Maybe we have different definitions of the word "canned". I'm using it in the "prepared in advance" context. I've yet to see any guy either online or in real life approach a large nu…

Canned openers are unnecessary and crippling to "game" over time. I don't use them. I use situational openers based on observation skills. My automatic reaction to anyone disparaging canned openers is that they don't actually approach much. Situational openers are excellent if you're occasionally doing approaches. However, if you're a newbie trying to grind through approaches, the last thing you need is to over-think things. Do we not still promote the "three second rule"? OP's opener is garbage…

I disagree slightly. While these groups mostly overlap, I do think that they are separate in the sense that the ones who actually get laid are much more purposeful in their focus and intentions. If you're following the "texting is for logistics" adage, numbers are almost after-thoughts for guys who actually get laid. Ideally, one purposeful in their intentions does the opposite of what you just described: after setting up a date, then you get the number; hopefully, you've already done some light…

Yes, he wants to spend time with her by having sex. Why is the onus on the guy to end the interaction here? He's made it clear what his intentions are. What's mind-boggling about your criticism is that a "freeze out" is the most straightforward, honest reaction to the specific situation. A girl says "No" and you stop what you're doing. A girl starts to escalate things again and you reciprocate.
/r/seduction27/10/16 10:35 PM

The crucial mentality behind the "freeze out" is that you genuinely don't care if you get laid or not; you just prefer all or nothing (sex or leave). Under that mentality, anything in between is a waste of your time. It's interesting that you portray him as the one pressuring. If a friend wanted to play hockey and I wanted to play basketball, I'd be perfectly within my rights to say that I'd rather not do anything at all if he insisted on playing hockey. A girl is not obligated to have sex with …

The thing is most research shows that the majority of communication is nonverbal. Without video, you miss all the nuance of a pickup. You miss the eye contact, the kino/physicality, the body language, and the spatial positioning. It's why lines or routines that seem lame often do well. What's being said is often of little importance to a pickup conversation.

Seddit's fundamental problem is that it's difficult to judge one's game or give tips for one's game over the Internet. Other subreddits like /r/MaleFashionAdvice, /r/MakeupAddiction, /r/Fitness, etc. don't have this problem. It's fairly easy to critique fashion, makeup, fitness, etc. through photos. The only way to critique pick-up is through physically being there to observe or watching a decent video recording. Most dudes don't have a camera crew or the audiovisual equipment needed (wireless m…

She threw that "Do you do this for every girl you take out/date/etc.?" shit test so many times. It was getting on my nerves. I was actually happy when he did the "whole pickup game part". The optimal response to a shit test is to agree and amplify. He did that to the max with "I randomly talked to girls" and "I honestly don't need any more girls in my life right now".

This post comes with a lot of free information Does it really matter if it's free? It's basically a rehash about IOIs, an old pick-up concept that I doubt someone as experienced as you even pays attention to anymore. Women vary so much in showing interest that it's pointless to even read a guide like this. Maybe she licked her lips because her lips were dry. Maybe one could argue that OP's post is a little over-elaborate/over-analytical, but there's gotta be a middle-ground between his post and the hand-wavy bullshit you just typed. "Duh, workout, learn social skills, be interesting". This part of the sentence offers the least amount of help ever. You might as well as typed "be yourself". It's like if I opened a sales book and all it had was one page that said "Sell a product for more money than it's worth." Gee, thanks. How the fuck do I do that? "…

A neg is a thinly veiled insult to put somebody's self-esteem down and to make yourself look cool. I don't like that. "If you're beautiful, so what? You got lucky in the gene pool." The fact that you didn't consider this a thinly veiled insult shows how subtle negs can be.

While RSDTyler isn't a doctor, he is right about how prevalent HSV is. Neither my primary care doctor nor Planned Parenthood even mentioned testing for it when I recently asked about STI testing. No one even seems to care about it. Medical professionals only care about gonorrhea and chlamydia, easily treatable STIs. Also, I don't know what OP is talking about in regards to "your doctor will shut you down" about HPV vaccines. When the vaccine was approved for boys, my mom had me, my brothers, and…

I wasn't really talking about a dating coach spammer context. I was thinking more of when TofuTofu was providing value for the sake of providing value. A TofuTofu's Above the Game or bl1y's Guide sort of context. 10 posts a day is probably unsustainable, but it wouldn't be difficult for someone providing value to create at least one front page top 10 quality post on a daily basis. Every episode free on Hulu. Great show. I've watched every episode. Some of the contestants are the cringiest motherfuckers you'll ever see, some of them the smoothest motherfuckers you'll ever see (a few of them obviously trained by well-known dating coaches / PUAs), and a lot of them in between. It always felt more genuine than the terrible, clearly scripted nonsense that was Mystery's TV show (where many of the contestants often seemed like paid actors).

I was wondering about your equipment in this video. Do you have a wireless mic that's automatically synced up with the camera? Or do you have a standalone mic and you guys sync up the audio and video later? Is your cameraman using a smartphone, a GoPro, or a standalone video camera? You gotta understand the type of guys attracted to this subreddit. They take themselves way too seriously and are generally very anxious people to be around. So when they see a video where the first thing the submitter says is "lemme teach you about 'caveman game'", they get confused. The idea that you can throw out corny lines and be sexual off the bat just does not compute. They're not comfortable in their sexuality, so even the title of the submission confuses them. I mean, you can not hide forever that you have 8-figures sitting on your bank account and in investment funds. You can't? I never said they were inauthentic. I'm sure they're all authentic, but it is a shtick. A marketing shtick to make themselves more palatable than simply calling themselves PUAs. Your comment sums up my problem with the whole self-improvement circlejerk. Who's to say that stopping playing World of Warcraft makes you a better person? Guys aren't allowed to have hobbies? The reply that I just posted to /u/ThrowawayPUA reminded me of another thing: blocking all videos wouldn't necessarily block spam. For example, /r/startups has a big problem with spam. Even after restricting all content to self posts and putting rules about promotion in the sidebar, /r/startups often gets self posts that are technically constructive and helpful but are still fundamentally spam posts (especially if they're posted by new accounts).

Haha, that comic really sums up something I started seeing on YouTube: spam comments that start out actually looking like decent comments and then quickly become spam links. It's weird because you know that they're spam but, without the spam links, they actually look like decent comments. I think YouTube just blocks putting links in comments, but a lot of spammers will just put the link with a lot of spaces (ex: spamlinkspamlink . com or spamlinkspamlink dot com).

As someone who has a doctor parent and doctor family and doctor family friends, I'm personally not all that concerned about most STIs. I have easy access to meds. "Don't ask a fish how to fish" is a metaphor. A metaphor is a grade school concept, so I'm not really sure why people have trouble with it. You're not supposed to take it literally. Its meaning comes from the fact that women often give men dating advice with a complete lack of empathy and shared experience. I mean, she even picked a specific female friend for the MFF threesome; she probably even let the female friend in on the plan. Back to this thread: Great post, OP. From what you can see in this thread, his cockblocker is probably all that negativity. It's interesting that he says "10,000 hours" but he doesn't say how many approaches he's done. If he's really been approaching for five years, he should be well into a thousand approaches by now. If not, there's his problem right there. Even if he's gone approaching with "top level rsd instructors", that's only a few approaches per instructor.

I see nothing wrong with "settling". There are several billion people on the planet and perfection is very difficult if not impossible, so everyone is technically "settling". John Gottman (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Gottman) is a psychologist well known for predicting divorce. He says that the most damaging thing to have in a relationship is contempt. A short answer: next her. A longer answer: texting should only be used for logistics. An even longer answer: "I'm busy" is often code for rejection. The thing is everyone has their own shit going on. However, everyone prioritizes their shit. If someone--regardless of gender and how busy they are--really wanted to hang out with you, they would make time to hang out with you. It comes down to what the practical exhibition of outcome independence looks like. In pick-up, one can easily become frustrated by constant rejection and this is why outcome independence is so important to internalize. However, I detest whenever I see the advice "just have fun". I understand that it is very difficult to have pure outcome independence. If I told you to do something, your first thoughts would probably be "What reason do I have to do that something? I disagree with your second sentence. Coaching can be incredibly helpful. There are life coaches, athletic coaches, academic coaches, etc. Pick-up is no different. Especially since your "friend who has better game" probably wouldn't bother audio-recording sets or carrying around a camera like many of the current pick-up/dating coaches do. This is why it's often better approaching alone than with a wing-man. Wing-men introduce all sorts of potential pitfalls. Asshole wing-men try to steal your girl. On one hand, if you can't afford a glass of wine at a restaurant, I don't know why you're going to that restaurant for a first date. On the other hand, I don't know where this "the person who makes the invitation pays for the meal" rule comes from. I abhor those comments. "Having girl problems? Just improve your self, bro." General self-improvement is nice and can help your game indirectly, but doing it for the sake of improving your game is a harmful mindset to be in. Makeup is interesting. For all the talk /r/seduction gets about manipulation, makeup is literally the manipulation of one's appearance with chemicals. Even tho its a porn flick and they are actors you can see how the girl gets progressively turned on. I am amused by the cognitive dissonance here. "Yeah, they're actors, but it's totally real, guys." How about you just talk to her and pay attention to what the girl likes, rather than taking tips from a porn video?

I'm not ThrowawayPUA, but I can see why he isn't a fan of this post. It lists all these arbitrary and irrelevant motivations behind a shit test. Your focus shouldn't be the reasons behind a shit test. It should be maintaining your frame. In the shit tests thread, ThrowawayPUA lists four suitable responses to a shit test. The irony of your post is that you said you don't want to "memorize 'If she says x, I say y'". Then, you came up with SIX different categories of shit tests to memorize, none of…

Maybe you shouldn't go out with insecure women. I'm really disappointed with this post. The fact that you allow random insecure women to dictate your frame ("use them for sex"? lol) tells me that maybe I shouldn't pay attention to your blog anymore. Where's your abundance mentality? Jesus, if you're that scared of losing a girl because you're upfront about it being casual, I question whether you even approach many women.

LMR: freezing out doesn't work. Pushing doesn't work and can look borderline rapey. I've had incredible success just trying to do everything I can to turn a girl on to the point where she can't help herself from jumping on. If you're trying to get a girl to come home with you and she's hesitant, say "we don't have to have sex or anything, if we just make out and fool around like kids all night, I'll be happy." Then do everything you can to drive her crazy. Are you saying that freezing out and pu…

Dating ≠ a relationship. There are no exchanges of value when in pick-up/dating. You need to understand that the only needs and wants that need to be met when dating are your own. You determine the compatibility of the person you're seeing. A salesman mentality is a horrible mentality to have in pick-up/dating, especially if you want a long-term relationship. This is how people with different preferences and goals end up in terribly incompatible relationships. It boggles my mind that there are p…

Outcome independence. People seem to think outcome independence means "Don't give a fuck." If you didn't give a fuck, why would you even approach? To have fun? If I wanted to have fun, I would have stayed inside to fap and play videogames. "Fun" is the last thing a socially anxious male thinks of approaching women. Outcome independence means making yourself independent of the outcome of successfully picking up a girl. Therefore, rather having the outcome depend on successfully picking up a girl,…

You do realize I'm not the person you were talking to? Saying something is bad advice isn't really helpful. You didn't even "prove" anything. Even if women don't like to initiate, it's still beneficial to figure out where you stand by asking "When?" If she doesn't set up a concrete place and time, you next her.

I'm 20 years old. My parents, younger siblings, and similarly-aged friends have all used "K" as a text. If someone wants to make the ridiculous jump to conclusion that "K" is whiny and pissed, that's their problem.
/r/seduction25/07/14 11:38 PM
2

If you're equating a girl with a boss, it says that you're already putting the girl on a pedestal. How do you meet people if you don't care if you meet people? It's called outcome independence. It's not that you don't care if you meet people. It's that you don't care about their reactions or the outcome of the interaction. The only outcome you should care about is that you actually took the initiative to meet people.
/r/seduction25/07/14 11:30 PM

How does it make you sound upset? I could understand if you were talking to her in person and you said it with upset tone and body language, but texting is the most content-less form of communication. The only thing more neutral than "K" is not texting anything at all.
/r/seduction25/07/14 11:26 PM
7

Why are you equating everyday social interactions with employment? It says a lot that you equating seducing a girl with proving yourself to your boss. If you never want to know me, that's no skin off my back. I don't even know you.
/r/seduction25/07/14 11:23 PM

How do you even get all of that from a one letter reply? "K" is literally the most neutral reply one could give.
/r/seduction25/07/14 11:16 PM

There's a difference between proving something to yourself and proving something to others. It's not about complacency or settling. Feeling you need to prove something to others is insecure. People are secure in themselves don't need to prove anything to others.
/r/seduction25/07/14 11:10 PM
12

No, you're not. I know this is a difficult concept for some dudes to grasp, but you should have no need to prove yourself to anyone. If a girl likes you, cool. If she's doesn't, it's no problem: there are other girls. That's the whole point of outcome independence and abundance mentality.

While Mystery did use a lot of sales concepts when establishing PUA, it's important to realize that dating is not "selling yourself". That's a pretty supplicative frame to be in. When you dating someone, you're determining whether this person is compatible enough for you to spend an undefined period of time with. The last thing you want to do when establishing compatibility is "sell yourself". In OP's situation, to establish compatibility, he is determining whether this girl respects his time. I…

The idea is that a sexy woman would already have so many options that there would have to be underlying reasons for her to need to ask you out: the majority of guys don't find her physically attractive, she has a shitty personality, etc. These are obviously presumptuous inferences to make (she could just be shy and awkward), but a lot of men are conditioned from experience to question why a beautiful woman is asking them out.

If you have cash to spend, do whatever the hell you want. However, let me give the three major reasons why you shouldn't pay for dates: Gender equality. This whole "man pays for woman" obligation sounds sexist. Not to mention, it sounds entitled: the woman isn't doing the man a favor by going on a date with him; she doesn't have to go on the date with him. A date is supposed to be mutually enjoyable. My bad. Terrible analogy. The point still remains: a girlfriend is supposed to be one's best friend and lover. A lot of people treat their mother as their best friend, but 99% of people don't treat their mother as their lover.
/r/seduction01/04/14 07:49 PM
1

If you're approaching a girl with the same frame with which you interact with your mother, you wouldn't even ask the girl out like the author of this post. Hell, you would probably creep the girl out. You don't interact with your male friends the same way you interact with your father, do you? I don't understand how y'all are missing my point. /u/LethalTourist's analogy was pretty terrible.
/r/seduction01/04/14 07:30 PM

It's not about "opinions" or "value". It's the fact that talking to someone you're sexually/romantically interested in is a totally different affair from talking to your mother. The vast majority of people treat their mother or sister or aunt differently from their girlfriend or wife. If you treat your mother the same way you treat a sexual/romantic partner, you may need a therapist.

You're free to do whatever you want. However, I question the situation and mindset of a dude who insists on paying for every date: Unless you're financially comfortable, I struggle to see how you're even dating. I'm not saying you have to date 10 girls at the same time, but even going on a few dates with 2-3 girls can add up. It's a shit test, which could mean a lot of things. If a dude randomly approaches a girl in the middle of the day, she's not just gonna jump on his dick. She might be hesitant out of fear of being perceived as a slut. Here's a Simple Pickup video talking about persistence. Did I walk into /r/BizarroSeddit where several female sedditors are elaborating why "I have a boyfriend" shouldn't be assumed true and a male sedditor (you) is arguing all over this thread that we should just move on as soon a…

She tells me that there is a guy that she has been seeing for the past week A "guy that she has been seeing for the past week" is not a boyfriend. She didn't "cheat" on anyone. The idea that you can only date one person at a time is an odd belief to me. I feel like a lot of bad relationships result from this scarcity mentality. We apply to several colleges. We apply to several jobs. Deciding on who you want to spend a significant part of your life with is arguably a far important choice to make.…

The Cajun episode and the Ajay episode are my favorite Keys to the VIP episodes because, like you said, they had such consistent and systematic game. Ajay consistently displays impeccable game while his competitor--an oblivious, newbie natural--keeps getting stupidly lucky results despite shit game and rookie mis…

That's why you set up a date either well before you get a girl's number or soon after you get a girl's number. Don't waste your time trying to build rapport over text with a girl who's not really into you. It annoys me when I see dudes in /r/OkCupid posting about convos that are 10-20 messages long. I disagree. As a 19yo who watches how his younger siblings socialize in high school, I feel that this guide becomes even more true with the current generation of kids. When female teenagers (especially the attractive ones) grow up with needy, beta male teenagers who respond to text messages immediately and constantly validate girls with attention on social media (FB, Instagram, Snapchat, etc.), they begin to agonize over why the dude who just asked them out isn't replying to their pointless call…

Attractive women, sure. Less attractive women have to have SOME game. And that wasn't even the point of the my suggestion. I wanna point out that /r/seddit isn't actually /r/seduction. One of our mods already tried to claim it, but the current /r/seddit mod wouldn't let /r/seduction take it because he uses it as a subreddit for some shitty chat app. Which is annoying, because, as you can see from the /r/seddit frontpage, A LOT of people seem to think /r/seddit and /r/seduction are the same.

Our mods are way more subtle about moderating than I think a lot of sedditors realize. Being a seducer is fine A lot of times, that's not even fine. Often, players are apparently assholes and douchebags because they care more about casual sex than about a relationship. Gotta love that male slut-shaming. She calls the book narcissistic, but in order to learn success with women, you have to love yourself. That's the point! But yet, they want a confident happy man. Nah, they want a confident, happy man who needs them. Unfortunately, confidence and neediness are contradictions.

when a woman says the word stop, but then pulls herself into you, you should ignore the words, IMO. So you would risk rape? No thanks, bruh. If you've internalized abundance mentality, sex with some emotionally-messed-up woman shouldn't be that important to you. Other fish in the sea.
/r/seduction19/09/13 10:13 PM

This seems like a situation in which freezing out is the best course of action. When a girl says "stop", just stop everything. No kissing. No escalation. If she wants to do anything, let her be the one to initiate. From there, stick with whatever she's comfortable with and don't try to escalate.
/r/seduction19/09/13 09:07 PM

All of the benefits you just listed are not only possible but also easier when you're sitting right next to your date. Furthermore, the time doesn't mean much if you haven't escalated at all. What reason would a girl have for going back to your place if you haven't sparked any sexual interest?

Most dudes I know do dinner dates, so my impression is certainly different from yours. "Do something fun so that you don't have to be a fun/interesting person" .. women are catching on. If you're not fun/interesting, how fun the date venue is hardly matters. Dinner dates aren't inherently bad date ideas. It's just that restaurants often have shitty logistics. Even if by some miracle she wanted to sleep with you, she'd be out first thing in the morning because you're just a radiating asshole. I'm agree with this so much. Some women aren't just attention whores like /r/jimmyayo said. They're also ridiculously entitled, especially the attractive ones. When you combine self-selection bias with the ideas promoted in /r/theredpill (women are irrational/immature/inferior/children/etc.), then you're start to seek information that confirms the ideas. In regards to PUA, you start to seek out women who confirm the ideas. That is confirmation bias, which isn't reasonable or objective.
/r/seduction29/07/13 08:33 PM
5

If someone is operating on a selection bias, then their observations shouldn't be taken as reasonable or objective. So you admitting that /r/theredpill operates on a selection bias means that you're aware that /r/theredpill isn't a reasonable or objective subreddit. I take it that you ARE familiar with these concepts, but you just don't care. Why would you? Why let reason or objectivity get in the way of you hating women?
/r/seduction29/07/13 06:51 PM

The entire sub is operating on a self selection bias, but it's a known bias, and more important, it's a relevant bias. So you admit that your subreddit operates on a self-selection bias? That's certainly not an objective way to analyze anything. For someone telling me to learn basic logic, you have a pretty shitty grasp of it.

The methods and crutches are necessary for the nervous, awkward, and insecure dudes who get in PUA. When you learned how to swim, did your teacher throw you into the deep end and pray for the best? When you learned calculus, did your teacher start off giving you questions with ridiculously hard derivatives and integrals? If you were a natural, you wouldn't think of doing PUA in the first place.

There's a PUA named Derek Cajun. He's highly thought of in PUA circles. One of his signature lines to women is "I'm adopting you as my new little sister." It disqualifies him (gives women the impression that he's not trying to pick them up) and builds comfort. He uses the line in this episode of Keys to the VIP. Another routine he's known for is the "drug dealer routine". Everything that comes out of his mouth in this episode is a PUA line/routine. Because he's memorized and used his lines/routi…

How does it give it a bad name? Why is it that stuff like nutrition and exercise are allowed to be gamified, but socialization is this holy, untouchable subject that we're not allowed to systematize?

It's a part of why you shouldn't really give a shit about their reactions. If the popular image of a PUA is some neckbeard bullshitter in a fedora or this dorky-looking dude*, it just makes it easier for us. One time, a sedditor showed me the blog post of a girl he approached. Despite having a boyfriend, she was charmed enough to blog about his approach and his chill reaction to being rejected. *I say "dorky-looking", but don't let that take away from all the ideas Mystery formulated as the fath…

This depends on how deep your feelings are for the girl. If it's a female friend you've known for a long time and have fallen in love with, yeah, it's a bit unhealthy to continue being friends with someone who doesn't reciprocate your feelings. If it's a woman you just met, why not make friends? We all know how much preselection and social value a dude gets from hanging out with attractive women.

I don't think they're comparable situations. Stealing a car would get you arrested. Stealing a girlfriend has far fewer consequences for you (especially if you have no intention of starting a relationship with her). What's the worst that could happen? The boyfriend beats you up? The situation is more comparable to Miami Heat "stealing" Lebron James or Facebook "stealing" several important Google employees. I put "stealing" in quotes because, like Lebron James and tech employees, a girlfriend is …

Hey, bl1y, why am I getting the impression that this interesting discussion we had earlier over in /r/askseddit inspired you to do this research? What's all this mean? There's a difference between a non-signal and a negative signal. If a girl is giving you no signs whatsoever, be assertive and take a chance. Kiss the girl. If a girl is showing negative body language, like shrinking away, then, yeah, back off.

In night game, it's a matter of confidence and body language. Especially in clubs where stuff like grinding is socially appropriate, it's important to be very comfortable with being physical. In day game, you don't have that problem of competition so it's more about verbal and conversation skills. If you're having trouble standing out while night gaming, you could always cold approach during the day.

Gender roles, OP. Men take the active role in dating. Women take the passive role in dating. If you're a dude who is waiting for women to approach you or is too much of a wuss to approach women, unless you look like David Beckham, you're gonna have a bad time. The same generally can't be said for women. Also, keep in mind that Russell Brand is a charismatic flirt who has no qualms about approaching women and has even received seduction advice from Neil Strauss, the author of The Game.

Such an insecure, combative, scarcity-mindset post. Women can make their own decisions on who they hang out with. They aren't your property. If the dude is being douchey, by all means, handle the situation. As long as you're not treating women like pieces of meat, I think it can be. The "misogyny" and "objectification" accusations some women throw at players/womanizers/PUAs is often thinly veiled male slut-shaming. It comes from the sex-hypocritical/sex-negative view that women who have multiple partners are "sexually empowered" and men who have multiple partners are "objectifying assholes." Confidence: confident body language, confident tone, confident everything. You'll know if she's at least interested if she doesn't run away in fear after whatever absurd shit comes out of your mouth. In regards to their man being nearby, that all depends on whether the girl is interested. I recall the Keys to the VIP episode where Cajun's cousin got a girl to slip him her number right before her bf came over to confront him.
/r/seduction19/05/13 08:05 PM

If that works for you, then it works. You'll soon realize how much truth lies in the whole "be attractive" meme (rather, it's "be confident".) You can say the creepiest, outlandish, dumbass shit, so long as you say it with confidence and the girl is attracted to you. Sadly, because of a number of factors (gender roles, biological programming, slut-shaming, etc.), it's a very rare occasion for a woman to escalate. (Although, I hear it changes once they reach 30+ years old.) So, you gotta take it upon yourself to do so. The more comfortable you become with expressing your sexuality, the better you become at seduction.

The problem with posts like this and the underlying misogynistic tone is the idea that only women are capable of the behavior described. It implies that men are all loyal and logical. In reality, human beings in general are fickle, emotional creatures. If you're a PUA/player/womanizer/etc., it becomes very easy to see this in women. Especially because of gender roles (men take the initiative, men make the moves, etc) as well as confirmation bias (we ignore/forget rejections from women who are lo…

As a 19 year old dude, I have had several friends older than me, including a 29 year old, female, married college student. Also, my parents are 11 years apart in age. However, I question the maturity of an 18 year old high school student and what a 30 year old student could possibly talk about with her.

I'm inclined to agree. As long as you make your intentions known, you have no responsibility for whether someone falls in love with you. It's like how some girls at the club say shit like "as long as you don't fall in love with me." They hook up with some dude. And the dude, being a typical beta Nice GuyTM, thinks he's entitled to a relationship.

I used the free month trial when they first started it. I was (and still am) too cheap and stingy to continue paying the monthly fee. I liked it. They gave longer videos with more in-depth analysis rather than the short, edited videos they use on their YT channel. One impression a lot of experienced dudes may get from their YT channel is that they may not be as good as they appear to be because they focus so much on #-closes. It's one thing to acknowledge and appreciate different cultures and viewpoints. It's an entirely different thing to study up on different cultures just to talk to certain girls. You're in an approval-seeking mindset. What if you talk to another Indian woman and she doesn't give a shit about Indian culture? In the example you gave, I would have apologized for the perceived slight and told her I meant no harm. Then, I would have inquired about her culture. Nothing flatters people (guy or girl) tha…

Well, a lot of the questions asked in Seddit are typically from a losing mindset. Like "How do I ask out this specific girl?" Those with strong inner game wouldn't need to ask such questions. As for this question, I'm reminded of a comment (I don't remember if it was in Seddit) where a (white) dude was being interrogated by his bros after hooking up with a black chick. Tbh, after some thought on the matter, I see no problem with "freeze outs". As /u/t2gunnz points out: If she doesn't want something you want, you are not contractually obligated to continue doing what she wants in the hopes you get what you want. She can either meet you in the middle, share the restraint, or GTFO.

Privacy. And regular rejection (Most dudes would just show the successful approaches anyway.) And time. And money. And a crew. Funnily enough, the "freeze out" comes from a scarcity mindset. It places WAY too much importance on sex. I mean, obviously, a lot of us are here to get laid. But, the number one rule to getting laid is not giving a shit about getting laid. I saw the link posted in response to a dude asking how to not be creepy in another subreddit, and I was really bothered by the arbitrary nonsense being peddled in it. Never bring up sexually-charged topics." I can understand to respect people's boundaries, and I definitely know not to continue anything if a girl seems uncomfortable or straight-up says "no". I hesitate to call any rejection decisive. Ask girl out, get rejected, ask again a few months later (especially if you've spent all that time improving yourself), and you may get a better response. In which case, you're not technically rejected. Regardless, you're a man. Not only that but if you've learned anything from this subreddit, you're supposed to be a confident, attractive man. Confident don't pussyfoot around their intentions and put off things.

Not being in your head is so important she couldn't have understated it. It's fine to have openers and routines. Some days I'll just approach girls with the same opener over and over again. But what I frequently experience and as well as see from other sedditors is not knowing what to say past the opener, especially if the routine goes nowhere. This is why inner game is so important. I think I finally understand why the general rule is to only neg HB9s and HB10s. Because if you neg/tease any girl with lower self-esteem, they're more likely to be insulted or offended. Such is the case with someone like /u/worms_to_mooch_sex as well as many of the women on Reddit. Which is why I suppose negging is hard because it's hard to gauge the self-esteem of some girls.

This doesn't really sound like outcome independence, especially with the use of the word "entitled". No man is really entitled to any woman. The better mentality would be "The girl I want is not into me? Cool, I can talk to other girls." It's perfectly fine to want particular women, but it's important to understand that you shouldn't feel disappointed by the outcome if you're rejected.

The opposite happened to me actually. After clubbing and drinking with a girl, we started making out. She gives the "I have a boyfriend" line and I'm like "Ok, whatever you say." Continued making out. Escalated and started fingering her; she's clearly into it, moaning and stuff. Tried escalating even further. We have no obligation to uphold other people's social contracts. Marriage is a social contract between two people and only those two people. Whether another person feels morally obligated to uphold the contract is totally up to that person. That's not to say that a dude shouldn't be angry at me if I were to sleep with his wife. He is perfectly in his rights to be. If I were to sleep with another dude's wife, I would have no problem accepting the consequences.

I never believe girls who say they have boyfriends unless I meet the dude in the flesh. "I have a boyfriend" is such a common shit test, that I can no longer take the statement at face value. Your mentality "All the girls have boyfriends" is on point. Ask questions like "what's his name?" and call them out if they take too long to answer (because they're likely making it up.) Or just escalate like usual. If they really have boyfriends, you'll eventually find out anyway.

I'm gonna have to disagree with this. The dictionary definition of "seduce" is "to attract; to entice to sexual intercourse". So, I don't know where this "improving you and attracting women as a side benefit" is coming from. Attracting women isn't the "side benefit" of this subreddit; it's the goal. While I agree with your point about some guys getting too cozy and I definitely think this post belongs more in /r/relationship_advice than /r/seduction, I think what you said is part of the dilution…

Saw this on /r/TwoXChromosomes. Just found it really amusing that the author has the same ridiculous sense of entitlement that a lot of AFCs (that is, a lot of Redditors) have. You shouldn't expect sex just because you're friends with a girl, and you shouldn't expect commitment just because you're fucking a dude.

I agree so much with you on the rating systems point. Sometimes I don't even find the girls I see in pickup gurus' videos that attractive. The HB system also implies that attractiveness is straightforward and objective. Some Sedditors will interject that it "provides context" but most of the time, it doesn't. You rarely see an FR about a girl rated lower than 7. Even the rating HB10 isn't very useful in providing context. If an HB10 is as perfect and high-status as her rating suggests, chances a…

These girls weren't looking for relationships. They were looking for legal prostitution. Honestly, I feel a little sorry for the dude. (OP, all the potential link karma you wasted.) The guy in this article sounds kinda douchey. He's lying to seduce women. But let's honest...it works for him. Obviously, I wouldn't recommend this if you're looking for a legitimate relationship. But, if some people don't learn these things in daily social life, why not let them learn? It may be odd to you, but this book may improve the lives of many readers. Life isn't a game where you score one point each time you get laid. First of all, this seems like an oversimplification of Seddit. Many (if not, most) of the dudes here are just insecure, awkward dudes trying to get a girlfriend or trying to get laid. There's nothing wrong with either of those goals. Second of all, even if a dude wanted to be a "player", what's wrong with that? Few people keep the same friends through life, much less sexual partners. If you think that's a lousy life strategy, th…

I read this book a long while ago, like in middle school. It was my mom's really old edition from decades ago. I've never had trouble making friends. And I'm realizing that it may be because I internalized the concepts of the book. I'm a pretty good listener and am genuinely interested in what others have to say, and people seem to really appreciate that. I also tend not to judge people. This post explains the problem I have with some dudes posting on Seddit about appearance as well as the insecure chodes who post the "Don't be unattractive" bullshit all over the default subreddits. Women (and people in general) have such different preferences and turn-ons that it's pointless to ask shit like "how would you rate my looks on a scale from 1 to 10?" Idk about it being the most sexist thing I've read here, but your response still comes off as a little sexist. You don't know whether women are seldom looking only for sexual relationship, as you haven't spoken to all women. Some women are looking for solely sexual relationships. If I'm looking for ONSs, why shouldn't I filter out my approaches to find those women? Where in the "phone trick" does it say you take on "the guise of real relationships"? I would think that most women approached by a …

Is this /r/relationship_advice or /r/seduction? I can understand if you're looking for a relationship but if all I'm looking for is one-night stands, why not go to a bunch of attractive girls and try the trick? If your game is tight, you shouldn't worry about what other guys said to the girl before you. There's a lot of unnecessary moralizing going here.

If you get laid, sounds good to me. Obviously if you looking for a stable relationship, you wanna use a less rude approach.
/r/seduction27/02/13 07:14 PM
3

There is a difference. I've already explained how it works as a filter. I recently watched a PUA vid where the guy talked about going into a bar/club and immediately greeting everyone. Then, he would choose which girls he would talk to based on how positive their reaction to his greeting was. Both the "phone trick" and the "apocalypse opener" work as an extreme version of this idea. Forcing IOIs, rather than passively (and arbitrarily) looking for IOIs.
/r/seduction27/02/13 06:01 PM
4

It serves as a filter because, if you already know the girl's interested, it becomes a lot easier transitioning into an insta-date. I'm not saying to walk away like the dudes in the video. I've watched some of the videos on the channels of both dudes. There are instances where the girl clearly wants their D and they have to tell her after that it was just a prank. Who cares about day 2s? Before making this account, I lurked around Seddit and read a lot of TofuTofu's FRs. He would try to f-close …
/r/seduction27/02/13 05:45 PM

Seriously. TofuTofu can write FRs about having sex with girls in the middle of club dance-floors. But, as soon as you say you had success with a trick that's hardly even a trick, you apparently get downvoted to oblivion. Some anti-newcomer bias going on here.
/r/seduction27/02/13 05:21 PM
51

I feel like it's the less intimidating version of the "apocalypse opener". In which case, yeah, you're supposed to start out with the trick and THEN act like a normal person (getting to know her.) Edit: For a seduction subreddit, you guys seem to be really doubtful that this "phone trick" would work. What some of you don't seem to realize is that it works as a ridiculous filter. You immediately know if a girl is interested in you, saving you the time of building attraction. If I tried it on 50 g…
/r/seduction27/02/13 04:57 PM

This depends on the dude. If you were to date someone from this subreddit, it'd probably be harder to do that. Simply because there's a big focus on f-closing as soon as possible. Granted, despite the FRs of the higher-profile members here, I have a hard time believing that every one of our 100k members actually f-closes on the first date.
/r/seduction27/02/13 04:54 PM
20

This is true for more attractive women. I can think of quite a few less attractive female friends who this may not work for. Not to mention that insecure guys would be intimidated by forward women.
/r/seduction27/02/13 04:46 PM
2

I would say that the tips here work for women too. It really boils down to being proactive; a lot (most?) of women are really passive about dating. If the kind of guys you're interested in aren't asking you out, maybe you should start hanging out (and flirting) with those kinds of guys. I can't really give you advice on clothes and make-up, but learning that stuff helps a lot. Also, losing weight makes even the ugliest person look at least average.

If you're not looking for a long-term relationship, busy business professionals are the best kind of women to hook up with. Hell, busy women in general. Passively look for IOIs is stupid. All women are different. Therefore, women show IOIs in different ways. Some don't even show any. Some women are shy, others flirty. An introvert is someone who is energized by being alone and whose energy is drained by being around other people. So, technically, confident behavior is the same regardless of whether you're introverted/extroverted. At a party, an introvert just wouldn't feel like socializing as much as an extrovert. He/she may feel like chilling outside after a while. However, unlike a socially anxious person, an introvert would have no problem socializing once he/she's energized again. An extrovert might love …

An "Alpha" is just a confident dude, so, regardless of whether you're an extrovert or introvert, the principles remain the same. It just depends on the situation. For instance, an extrovert is probably gonna have an easy time opening a group of women. They're also gonna have a lot easier time building social capital in locations with a large number of people. I always thought people put too much power in the words "introvert" and "extrovert". I'm introverted. I like nothing more than sitting at home reading a good book by myself, and I like to recharge after spending a long period of time socializing with others. However, that doesn't mean I don't like socializing with others. It just takes a lot of energy. If you genuinely don't like socializing, that has nothing to do with extroversion and introversion. It has to do with social anxiety.

If society was telling men that STEM jobs are not suitable for men, I'm sure there would be less dudes taking STEM jobs. I don't see any parents say "No, don't be an engineer. That's not very manly." I do see parents saying it about "womanly" jobs like nursing, which I admit is a problem. I wouldn't mind more male nurses. The more career options the better.

To add onto this, I don't see why redpillschool thinks there has to be a dichotomy. To be fair, the idea that men like thin women is another idea influenced by our society rather than an actual fact. In fact, a healthy amount of fat (for reproductive purposes) is a particularly important component of female attractiveness, which is why a lot of men obsess over boobs and ass. [Source]. Not to trying discredit your views or anything, but a true feminist would be about equality, not man-hating and demonizing male sexuality. The feminazi type you've experienced are extremists/radicals, not true representatives of feminism.

Dude, the problem is that if you're meeting/talking to women with this mindset, of course you're going to attract women who fit your views. This is because you're pretty much selecting for the type of women you guys think women are in this subreddit. If I wear a top hat and deem every woman who reacts negatively to the top hat as "unwomanly", chances are I'm gonna end up with a woman who loves the hat. It does affect reality, YOUR OWN realities. It's unfortunate that you guys have determined tha…

In regards to the threats point, why the fuck would you stay with a woman like that? In regards to the divorce point, why the fuck would you not get a prenuptial? I certainly have no desire of getting married without one. And what does "harassed for sex by all women kind" mean? If anything, women rarely ever approach dudes. I swear this whole subreddit is just a bunch of angry betas (for lack of a better word) blaming their problems on women. Get some fucking balls.

It's more like history of discrimination and oppression of women = lack of brilliant women scientists in the past. So, if you're using it as evidence of the inferiority of women, it's not very good evidence. If you don't think discrimination against women doesn't exist, that's hilarious, considering it's due to the exact mentality promoted in this subreddit. Also, if you feel like stuff like hormones, genitals, and average height are important differences, by all means go ahead. Don't know how t…

You don't? I mean, do you seriously have no friends of the female gender that you think men and women are different lifeforms? Literally, the only difference is one gets a Y chromosome and the other an extra X chromosome. Other than slight physiological differences (hormones, height, genitals, etc.), everything is completely up to socialization and upbringing.

I wasn't aware that blog links were legitimate sources of proof. Tell you what, why don't I go get a temporary domain name and type up some bullshit as proof for you? As for your nonsense about science, I don't know what you learned in high school or college. If I started a subreddit saying Indian people are clearly the superior race to all, people would sure as hell expect me to provide actual evidence to prove it. None of those links state any inherent differences other than superficial ones. You don't have to have a medical degree to know that brain size in humans has very little effect on intelligence. It's this "inherently different" nonsense that saddens me. How are women "inherently different" other than the obvious, superficial differences (genitals, average height, etc.)? Naw, man, it's not that hard. Escalation is so important; I honestly can't state it enough. If you're with a girl you're sexually interested in, it's mandatory that you have some physical contact/intimacy. Hell, escalation doesn't even have to be physical. There was a video posted here in the last day or so where the pua showed how he escalated with a girl simply by getting closer. You certainly don't converse with your bros within an inch of their faces, right?

See, an important aspect of seduction is the development of solid inner game. If a confident, natural dude didn't feel like he needs to apologize at all, the same result of this post would occur. The girl would come running back. Whether the dude would want her back or not is up to him. But, because, the natural isn't into seduction and isn't consciously playing games, most people wouldn't regard it as manipulation. I personally give Seddit a pass in regards to talking about sexual encounters because it's an anonymous forum. But, in real life, talking about what you did with a girl last night is unbelievably douchey. It's one thing to imply you hung out with a girl. Real successful people give back to their community. Many artists/actors/rock/movie stars start charities, impart advice to the younger generation, and give aspiring talent opportunities. A person of value (a successful person) doesn't just take and leave. He/she gives back, creating a mutual, beneficial relationship between them and those around them. TofuTofu has posted some pretty awesome FRs in the past and still comes on this subreddit to give advice. He's probably getting laid right now.

Generally, getting a number is better. But, it's HOW you get the number that's important. If you say something like "We should hang out later" and she responds positively, you say something like "How do we make that work?" By this point, if she's particularly interested, she'll offer her number. Even if she doesn't, it doesn't necessarily mean she isn't interested and you should ask for her number. Feminists want their cake (equal educational/economic status) and want to eat it too (have a guy with similar or better educational/economic status, which becomes increasingly difficult to find if everything is equal.) I disagree with your sentiment as well as the sentiment of the quote. Why is there a focus on control? Aren't relationships supposed to be about mutual attraction, respect, and trust? The real problem is unrealistic expectations. One of the comments on the article explains it better than I can: It's obvious, but then again maybe not. Women aren't competing "for men". They are competing for the small number of men that are more successful than they are. If men and women are equal but women can't …

I'm not sure this could be summed entirely as caused by online dating. Our society in general just spends more time online in general. Why would I go out to be social when everyone I know I can see/talk to on Facebook? This leads to a more socially awkward population. Without reading your link, I can already tell it's a bunch of BS. Maybe on dating sites, income may matter. But, in real life, how many girls go around asking guys their income? I've seen dudes with no prospects at all, living on their friends' couches, get hot girls. All you're doing right now is reinforcing your own limiting beliefs.

I want to continue off the friendzone myth post and offer an reinforcement of the points made in that thread. What better reinforcement than support from a more mainstream science YouTube channel? Sadly, the AFCs watching this vid probably wouldn't be able to fully grasp the points made, but I think Seddit may appreciate the video better.
