Here's my take: this kid is gay. There's just too many indicators that suggest he likes dick. The emotional Facebook post, the way his mom talks about him, he is involved with the drama club, etc. I don't care that he has a "girlfriend". This is absolutely a thing. An ex gf told me she had cervical cancer. To be honest, I didn't believe her. Oh man, this exact same scenario happened to me a few months ago while I was still trying to get over being a beta. It's never going to happen man, just delete her number and move on. If she texts you again in a month, you could write "who the hell is this?" just to spin her hamster, but otherwise, go full no contact.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I never really considered a dojo, I'll check that out. I've also considered volunteering with a group that takes care of abandoned dogs, because dogs are awesome. I also do kickball leagues, but so far I've gotten paired up with teams that never really talk or do anything social. Hopefully now that college football season starts today, I might be able to meet some bros at my local sports bar. Summer is completely dead around where I live.
