This is gonna sound cold, but I got no sympathy. You know why? You were aware enough to KNOW dating co workers was a bad idea and you did it anyway. You are like the child that burns his hand after putting it too close to the heated stovetop in spite of knowing how hot it is.

I have seen self depreciation ruin things for guys who are fresh in a relationship. That one point alone is gold, never neg yourself early on before a relationship or in a fresh one. Never say shit like,"I don't know what she sees in me" or "I am lucky to have her". I have seen guys say shit like that just after dating a little regularly and they end up getting dumped. In fact, there was this one poor sap who posted both of those things on social media and his chick dumped him and started fuckin…

Her "feelings" don't correlate with the reality she chooses. Her verbalized feelings about things are just her face saving mechanism in action. Her taking loads from other guys in the face is her real face.

Your problem isn't even the opener. Your problem is you are focused on what you do or do not have confidence in. That shows you missed the entire point of OP. Don't think, just approach. Do it enough times and you will get a feel for it, no different than learning anything else out there.

I have been here a long time but don't post very often. It's a little sickening to see the cuckoldry in this thread in regards to the OP. I can support this post fully. One of my favorite tactics when doing online dating is not to talk about "if we meet" but rather "when we meet we, we will be fucking and doing (insert whatever you like here)." 9 times out of 10, they will say my confidence turns them on. From there, its a few messages for logistics, then meet up for the f-close. If she dismisses me, then I don't waste any more time.

I downvoted you because it is a little naive to suggest in one breath that there is nothing quite like a woman scorned and then in the next suggest they don't know the extent of the destruction they set out to cause. Their retaliation as a result of their solipism shows precisely that they know what they are doing. It is nkt accidental or a quirk of fate. Your post actually made me laugh. It's almost as good as a stand up comedy routine from my favorites. Poor plate never really knew what hit her. In a post yesterday, I talked about the one thing fresh Former Mr. Nice Guys struggle with is the importance of learning to Ignore. They are so used to being overtly reactive (aka, reacting to every negative or positive happenstance, fit, or tantrum with SOMETHING), rather than mastering the skill of Ignore. You? You could give lessons in Ignore.

This may be a little out of left field. I look at the RPW subreddit every now and then. The women there are pretty much the best kind of definition when it comes to the Captain/First Mate dynamic. They understand their responsibilities AND they are self accountable. But that doesn't mean they are brainwashed weak willed subservient wenches as the feminazi "strong independent wymyn" would have you believe. They make sure they select a Captain that is worth following. That makes all the difference…

One of the hardest things for a "freshly wanting to be a former Mr. Nice Guy" to do is learn the power of Ignore. Their whole life they have been preached to that when someone is dissatisfied with something, then it is Mr. Nice Guy's "job" to fix it. So they step in and show their blue pill Mr. Nice Guy-ishness anytime someone throws a tantrum or hits them with shit tests designed to ferret out their willingness to Ignore the tantrum and assert some amused mastery and outcome independence. When …

Entitlement syndrome plus the amount of feminism indoctrinated in them in schools and from their diva mothers, most likely. Add on that it's harder to parent these days because society is so warped it is impossible to punish bad behaviors effectively and society to an extent raises a child through all the available entertainment to consume that has all these underlying messages about how everyone is a special snowflake, men are dumb and buffoonish, and strong, independent women are a THING. I think a lot on TRP think TRP is about spinning plates and an endless buffett of Tinder whores, it seems that when Captain/First Mate dynamic gets explained, it doesn't get the upvotes or comments. I do think the ability to be an effective Captain is the same thing as being a Captain in every other arena, including spinning plates, only there, the "First Mates" are temporary. Same principles apply.

I agree with almost everything you say, except "he can't win". He can win by dumping her if he desires, even at the cost of half his fortune. Assuming everything gets divided evenly, he would still be wealthy if he didn't blow it all and kept a rainy day fund. I guarantee on some level if he is telling her to step up her game, then he already has the gears going in his head working on a plan for that day if one drops the divorce hammer on the other. I really like the idea of schedule as a resource, as in scheduling a certain time so she isn't expecting you to give her food on your dime since it isn't the traditional mealtime. Plus that throws her for a loop since she now has to invest something of herself in order for you to do anything for her. I always was a fan of asymmetrical actions, and this is certainly a simple, yet effective method in that regard.

This is one of the best write ups I have read in a year of lurking here on and off this account. You identified your own flaws and was introspective enough to know what you could do as far as giving advice to others to not fall into the same trap. I have an insight. Women, no matter who they are, want the YOU that they had when they first met you. It's only when you deviate too far away from that, that they lose interest. I heard of that one, this one took place here in the US. The chick was a few states away partying while her hubby/bf/or fiance was at home. What I got from it was that TRP does not have a singular purpose and it never has had one. The purposes people will find here are the ones they need. Not everyone has the same need because they are not in the same place in life as others. There is no one size fits all solution. Any member here will get out of this sub what they need and most importantly, whatever they give of themselves towards achieving their goals.
