I hardly read stuff on here anymore, but I always enjoy the things you produce. Happy to click this sub and see something you wrote stickied. So thanks for your hard work

I think your friend has a decent point. I personally can’t ons a girl with no brain anymore. I think different women find different things attractive just like men and there are some generalizations that tend to be true but there’s always exceptions. Dominant like a jock is a lot different than dominant like a gentleman, especially at 35. If you were acting like a frat boy and it’s out of character the guy could be looking out in a way. Because that’s sensible behavior unless you want to fuck so…

Lol. It’s just new age, but still good. People misuse shit all the time. My two cents

I think the polyamorous approach is good for men who don’t want to commit but still play the field. Basically spinning plates in an easy to explain way. But that jealousy is a motherfucker and inhibits a lot of emotional fulfillment, at least for me. Then there’s women from less westernized countries, but I have no experience with that. As far as allegations go be careful out there boys. Hashtag youtoo? Just my $.02.

I subscribed years ago. Barely check it now. In a lot of ways I’m right there with you. Here’s what I think: the sub and it’s growth and beliefs are for people to have and do with as they please. Some might get stuck. Some might reject it all or in part. Some might make terrible posts. Trp really helped me get through some shit and grow and I want others to have that opportunity. We can’t guarantee what happens to them. In my experience trp is the best us nerds have for understanding sexual dyna…

That pill will get easier to swallow as you earn more options for yourself and move into higher spots on your list. I don't necessarily agree with that list, but it's a decent caricature.

I'm a freelance carpenter/contractor. Never went to school. Shit just happened for me. Always network and improve your skills. But for me life isn't about work right now, there's other things I enjoy so I live cheaply and work less. I know a guy that makes bank editing film, but he's apparently good.

Tell girls you're poly? A solution to cheating. I think you know what to do. Yeah, most girls are sluts. Yours too. With only three guys she's gonna want to try more soon. Best of luck

On top of other advice: Didn't see learn to play music or martial arts on the list. I found those things as an adult, if you devote yourself to an instrument now I guarantee it will get you laid at least three times in your life, and I only say three in case you're hideous. Same with martial arts. Also, if you aren't interested in STEM consider a trade. Gets a bad stigma but definitely a great option. You can go really far if you're smart.

I think the theory supporting it is that having kids from same man doesn't diversify gene pool. So optimal strategy is to have a beta provider you keep around and then find better genes while ovulating. Men can't detect when women ovulate easily, giving women more control. People lived in bands it wasn't just nuclear families wandering the savannah. I think women and men are not naturally monogamous but can restrain our urges, if there were any incentive.

Yeah I came here to say do something in picture. Get a friend to take one of you playing with his dog outside and shirtless. Just be doing anything outside.

5 times since April isn't bad, good for you. If you have a strict no drug policy getting laid is gonna be a lot more rare if you go to a city after (I'm assuming) college. Girls love having fun, and most loose women like drugs, including alcohol. I think red flags are for ltrs, not getting your Willy wet. And AA girls might be used goods, but their only dopamine fix is sex, so there's that.

Start slow with each new thing and only pick up one habit every month or two. Motivation can drive discipline but imo discipline takes practice. Loading up a hundred ways to change yourself will discourage and exhaust you. Go to the gym and do a beginner program 3x a week. There I got you started.
/r/TheRedPill31/08/17 01:10 AM

IMO it's available. If sex were as available to men like it is for women we would all fuck a bunch more. Women fuck for social status too, they're motivated sexually by a variety of different things whereas men seem to be simple. As far as NSA holiday, women like to fuck.

Martial arts. Wasn't bullied but after a few years my confidence is subconsciously ingrained and comes through my body language. Helps, at least as far as men go, which sounds like your issue. I haven't broken through being nervous cold approaching hot girls though. Average ones yeah, but the smoking ones no. So if that's your issue good luck

The idea of good and bad is subjective. If it prevents you from taking action alter your perception. Just do more. Get your bench up to 225. Learn handstands play music do anything but dwell on this shit. Best of luck

It sounds like you are having a tough go of it. Hard shit happens to everyone, and for some it's worse. I hope that time takes away some of your anger and that you find some success, in whatever form that you want. It will require action though. I was angry for a long time, it's natural. I wouldn't think too much, wear yourself out exercising and don't focus on women being evil. They're people, flawed and slightly animalistic. Abrahamic faiths controlled women by limiting their means to produce …

I'm intrigued by the idea that most men came here after a woman not being monogamous. We were left. But after we become more desirable, we are inclined to do the same thing. The difference is that women are largely unaware and follow their instincts, but we can choose to.

I logged in for the first time in a long time to express gratitude for this project; you guys work your ass off and risk a lot to make this sub happen. Swing through a bjj gym and try a class if you never have. Preferably one where you can roll. It's fun and has the longest road to black belt if I'm not mistaken. I think cross training in 2 is key for self defense. But if karates your jam and you train hard, good for you.

From the south too. Don't carry concealed but if I did I'd keep sly. And if it came up I wouldn't talk about it. You're not gonna give up your guns, right? Doesn't require much explanation other than don't touch it, it's loaded. Take one shooting. That's worth a thousand words.

Both of you guys are talking about the same thing. Some women like being treated like shit more than others, proportional to quality of father. There's a grey scale for what women prefer and tolerate, but in general having a life and being selfish produce the same symptom.

Unless you've got a good smv lead on her she might get turned off. Escalating is a bitch. I had to re learn after getting sober. While I respect your opinion, I have to disagree with two points: that women lack intellectual capacity and that no man thinks they deserve autonomy. I'm just not that bitter anymore. Sure it's rough out there, you get fucked. We all did. I was angry enough at one point to have maybe agreed, but I'm no misogynist, and pussy is one of the most powerful forces around. I had a plate branch swing from a four year relationship. The ability to rationalize that behavior is unbelievable. She thinks I'll forget or somehow adopt the idea that what she did is not a red flag. Most horrific part is that dude she left looks and acts desirable. Women's attraction, while predictable, still baffles me sometimes.

If you were a dude with a bunch of sexual options, would you take them? Most girls nowadays have been through lotsa dick, loved it, continue it, and see nothing wrong with it. What is wrong with it? I struggled to swallow this reality for awhile. Here's a useful analogy: I was droning on to a friend about how much the energy age is draining the planet and won't last ecologically, and his reply was basically 'we're living in the greatest and easiest age of humanity and you're still not satisfied.' Let go of the ltr with a unicorn ideal; the problem's in your head. Life's too short to spend it looking under every rock for treasure. Don't get oneitis and enjoy your turn when it comes AND goes.…

Looking forward to more posts; I enjoyed this one. You nailed one of the most difficult parts of RP philosophy for me- the idea that relationships are impermanent and 'built on a fault line.' Until about a year and a half ago a wife and a family seemed like a rewarding and fulfilling life path. I've realized it's not.. which leaves a lot of possibility.

I don't think there's anything wrong with it personally, but the RP fitness community seems more into lifting (strictly). I've caught flak for advocating before so I gave a disclaimer this time. I actually alternate between calisthenics and weights for several reasons and it works well for me.
/r/TheRedPill17/02/16 12:33 AM

I know there's a stigma against calisthenics, but if you're fat and out of shape it's not a bad place to start. It is not the same as lifting heavy weights. You should eventually go to a gym. Some benefits of calisthenics: compound movements, can be done from your home, pull up bars are cheap and that's all you really need, less likely to get hurt (if you're super out of shape that's a possibility when you try to deadlift heavy to show off), strengthens joints and muscles so when you do go lift …

I've been sober for 6 months. It's not bad. I had a drinking problem though, so one beer is too much for me. It's a little more challenging to meet girls, but you can always go to a bar if you really want. I usually get cranberry and sprite, and I've never been charged for one

I think the lesson learned should be "...apply it to live your ideal life." Some married guys come here and use what they learn to live their ideal married life, some check out altogether, and others keep dating/plating armed with the truth. In all of those situations what they read on here was used well. We all want to be that cool 30 year old guy that is at nice parties... I don't want to be a cool, buff, rich mid-thirties guy partying with hot girls in my mansion. That seems like an unfulfill…

Ha! Nice sentiment, but TRP's fine as is. The diversity is one of the things that make it great. The harsh advice is a different side of the same coin being handed to you. I understand your frustration; the 'anger phase' hit me hard. I think it takes the mind time to adjust once it sees the world in a different light. I can see how reality seems unfair at first, but you gotta let that victim mindset go. Change what you can, accept what you can't.

Good luck man. Remember to enjoy the journey itself; it will get better. Sorry it's a struggle right now, but remember that's you getting stronger. If you feel like you're missing out on the best part of your life by not partying, then go party a little. I think that's code for 'missing out on girls.' That can be frustrating. But what can you DO about it? Fill your life with wholesome habits and challenges and most importantly: enjoy it. We're not here because we're rock stars or Chads.

I think about the difference between MGTOW and RP as breaking your addiction to female validation and sex. Being able to comfortably do without and not crave those things probably gives you a lot of mental freedom and instead of chasing your biological imperative, you go your own way. OP: I can't speak for everyone my age (25), but after finding TRP I had a little monk mode stretch and then got back out and started plating. Definitely upped my notch count, but it felt too much like work. I event…

I was in the same boat as you man. I'm sorry shit's rough for you, but I'm glad you're on the up and up. My advice: let go of the desire for an LTR. If not forever, then for a while. Craving an LTR is similar to self improvement for that revenge fantasy some of us share. It's the right thing for the wrong reason, but you have to move on eventually. Reach a zen understanding with reality and let it go. Your 'SMV will skyrocket in 4 years' but you 'wanted an LTR before that.' Don't make an LTR you…

I thought that by definition unicorns didn't exist. Unicorns, not albino pandas. I actually think that if a unicorn (literal animal) was captured the community might have to change its word for a woman that only exists in the imagination. I think that some ladies will lie far outside of the bell curve, I agree with that notion. Some might lie to one extreme (redheads with daddy issues) and some to the other (conservative upbringing 'plain jane' w/ strong parental presence). But the sexual instin…

I have given this idea some thought. Curious: why do you think monogamy is required for a functional society? My only idea is a 'no man left behind' program.

Here's my question to those wiser than me: Is it wrong to tell John? What if John was a little more than an acquaintance? A good friend? I had two co-workers that were a couple. Everytime the guy left out of town the girl was out partying and drinking and flirting and probably getting fucked. I wanted to tell him so bad. EVERYONE knew. But nobody said shit. It was disgusting to watch her love on him when he returned.

I traveled around using WWOOF for a while and stayed at different farms. Learned a lot and met some really cool people too. One of my 2016 goals is to start looking more into the business aspect of starting up a farm and apprenticing some more skilled farmers. With that info I'll be deciding if it's a feasible career (because I'm weird and would be happy with some land, a cabin, woodstove, and an old pickup). An insane amount of farmers are getting too old to work their land right now. A lot of …

Never been to a Krav Maga gym. Give it a shot and see which you like. I think it deals more with weapons and 'street defense' type situations. Learning any kind of martial art adds stuff to your toolbox. To me grappling is really fun, that's why I do it. Try them both and see which you like.

Nice resolve man. Better than me. I get the car shit test (still think it's trashy on her part and a deal breaker for me), but the music? I couldn't fuck something that likes shitty music and actively engages in touching my radio/ipod in order to disrupt something sonically pleasing in favor of trash. No matter how hot she is, no boner ever. I would have turned around then, watched that movie by myself and probably had a better time. Questions to those wiser and more experienced than me: Is she …

I recommend BJJ to everyone when they ask me how my bf% is so low. On the cusp of getting my blue belt right now. It's the shit. Comp coming up soon! Good for the mind body and soul. But I digress, nice post man. I'm just coming around to beginning to let go of some anger. I feel almost grateful to my last LTR for hurting me and sending me here, so this speaks to me.

God I hate seeing a decent looking girl change her social media picture and get 100+ likes, mostly from thirsty dudes in line for her. They're giving attention for free. My friend's college degree pictures and other badass accomplishments get less likes than some fast food guzzler's selfies. Disgusting.

I think this would help me a lot; I'm following most of the self improvement advice I get on TRP. I was doing all of these things before I found this community, now I do it with more vigor. I'm still grappling the anger phase and some accompanying depression. In AA they have sponsors for new members (basically a person you contact to help you one on one) and it's instrumental in helping people learn to live a new way of life. I was thinking just the other day about posting in AskTrp about this, …

It sounds like you're on a path to self betterment. Monk mode and sidebar. I wouldn't think about your race as a deal-breaker. You can't help your race, just accept it. I think all races can be sexy. Also, I don't think you've 'ruined your life.' You're only 20. Starting to develop yourself now and realizing social and sexual dynamics will put you leagues ahead of your peers in the long run. Keep your partner count where it's at and realize the attention your party friends get from guys is sexua…

I've trained calisthenics for a while and wanted to put in my two cents: Calisthenic exercises have their place and purpose, just like weights have their place and purpose. One arm pullups, (freestanding) handstand pushups and front lever rows are difficult exercises. Pressing exercises on rings are surprisingly difficult to people that have never tried them b/c of the stabilizing component. If you want to try something new, I'd recommend some dips on rings. I discovered that pistol squats and v…
