I've always gotten the impression that some percentage of people prefers to deny these instincts rather than understand them. I can see how your semantics work and you could use them to describe how i behave to capitalize on biology. But i don't see it as being negative so i use different words to describe it. I was illustrating the concept that is core for me. You are right of course, most of the world isn't aware of it. The difference is i don't see it as using their biology against them. My focus is getting an LTR to transition to RPW style attitude by capitalizing on my ability to control the frame. I see this as a pretty altruistic thing to do as it is training some increased awareness into them as well which makes my role easier.

Getting fellow students to acknowledge the huge costs that come with the responsibility of traditional masculine roles has been an uphill battle. Bringing this topic up with relation to gender equality got one student thinking i was on the attack for some reason.
