Good job - now the real test of your will to improve will be if you continue approaching even if this particular girl flakes. Keep approaching

All this article is saying is that: when it comes to attraction looks aren't everything. Great - I love trite observations like this. Here's another: people are complex and can like each other for more reasons than one.

I think if you're already a social and personable guy, then reading more won't help you (in fact, it might even hurt you by loading you up on theory and thus creating anxiety). Getting girls essentially amounts to two things: confidence, and sexual escalation. That's it. Best of luck!

I'd like to know if I'm missing anything essential. Yes: Field practice. Just as you need to be in water to learn how to swim, you need to stop reading and talk to people to learn game.

No. Waste of time. Also, the point is to develop resilience into a habit. I know you want to "keep your options open" and you'll find any reason under the sun to rationalize. The best is to develop that toughness, starting right now. Over time, you'll have tons of "HB10"s and it will be automatic.

Step-up to a chick and start talking. You might think pick-up is about developing a skill. It's not. It's about cultivating a habit. Just as you don't need to watch videos to remind yourself to brush your teeth in the morning (I hope), you shouldn't need to do anything to get pumped. Just do it! If you can train yourself thus, you'll go really far.

I am nervous to approach in class because what if I make a fool of myself, it will make the rest of the semester awkward not only to the girl, but to the people around me who heard my advances. OP, if there's a girl in your class that you think is cute. FUCKING TALK TO HER! You will not make a fool of yourself as long as you do these two things: You are direct. NO round-about-equivocation-here's-a-poem-I-composed-to-honor-your-heavenly-visage-bullshit. Talk to her. If you think she's cool, tell …

I think seddit only discourages telling a girl you're into her for people who do so because they hope it will cause the girl to like them. You must convey desire. You must not convey neediness. Easier said than done, I agree.

I don't know if anyone can really control their emotions. I can't help but be pissed-off, or sad, or happy at certain things. What I can do is control how I act in response. And I always try to act in a reasonable way. For example, I think you're currently doing this right. Even though you feel shitty (it'll go away, TRRRUSST me :) ), you aren't letting your emotion control your behavior. Instead of wallowing in self-pity in front of the TV, you're trying to improve yourself and that's good. For…

Keep on keeping on, man! Remember: you were successful at pick-up once, and so you have what it takes to be successful again. Especially since your sexual attractiveness is much higher now than it was back then.

Man, picking-up women should be a corollary to an attractive lifestyle. Treat the disease, not the symptoms. Become confident without having to use any substance. It's harder, sure, but the pay-off is far greater. You have to ask yourself why you got into this in the first place. Is it just to get your dick wet from a pretty face? Or is it about becoming a man you're proud of, who attracts others (including women)?

This. I've witnessed this so many times. Guys who are confident and physically escalate, get girls. That's about all the game you need in a social circle. I've seen complete douchebags land hotties that some poor saps spent months listening to and being friends with because they were afraid to pull the trigger. Good luck OP!

I don't think the self-improvement community views being alpha as a fixed characteristic, as you suggest. Quite the opposite. Just look at any post on this forum: people always talk about behaviors that are alpha. With regards to testosterone, everything I've read (which is indeed limited), does suggest that it imparts desirable masculinity. The reason not everyone has high testosterone is because high levels of testosterone aren't necessary for sexual reproduction. But I'm sure it helps.

The brief infield footage from Tyler's Youtube videos is simply unbelievable and very inspiring. Several questions I've been curious about: Did girls freak out on him? Like, getting alarmed or loud or yelling? If so, how did he deal with this? What specifically about his body language conveyed alphaness? How often did the point and yell (You!), or the claw work? Physically, what's the quality of girls he was pulling? I admire the hell out of Tyler, btw. The dude has EVERY disadvantage people bit…

I think three things will immediately help you, and I hope you take this advice: Except for Seddit, get off all PUA forums you're reading. Your problem right now is not game or women, it's a lack of responsibility and motivation. You are wasting your time reading those forums. No book or blog article will save your life. Start exercising. I GUARANTEE that this will make you feel better. If you start now, in about 3 weeks, even if you haven't lost a single pound, you'll feel better. If you're low…

Is it me or does Tyler seem more cynical in the more recent videos compared to the earlier ones.

I get what you're saying from a pure Game perspective, sure. I mean I don't - nor really ever did - care for a stranger's (i.e. HB's) thoughts on who I am as a person. Nor did I ever really worry about my looks because, well, fuck what am I going to do about it besides working out or dressing better? BUT, I don't perceive myself to be self-validated. I would care if no one remembered my birthday. I would care if no one invited me to their parties. I would care if people I respect and admire didn…

It worked in your case. In general, though, the "friends-first" paradigm you propound is statistically a feeble strategy. Far better to move on and find someone else than to hang around as a wet fart.

I'd reply with: "And I'm only in love when I have sex". Always use antimetabole to destroy LMR.

In-person he's still zany, but very authentic. I didn't like him either, but now I do. I don't know how helpful his videos are, though. Anyhow, keep posting here as well man - failures as well as successes. I used to have such MASSIVE approach anxiety, I would've rather died than talk to a girl. But I kept thinking, hm, I wonder how hilarious of a story I can post on Seddit if I talk to shortie over there. The other thing is that you must approach Game as screening for the girls that are compati…

Do you want to get laid, or do you want to be "The Best" based on some arbitrary (but valid) measure of coolness? If you're pulling tail around this guy, then it sounds like his DHV'ing doesn't materially affect your results. Enjoy it man! I wish I had someone like that to hang with - it would make picking-up so much more fun/easy.

Alright bro, first of all, chill the fuck out about rejections. Believe it or not, it's going to get harder first before it gets any easier. Some chicks blew you out after, what, a minute of conversation? Try gaming chicks for hours for days on end, only to get a "you're kind of a bore". If you keep throwing hissy fits over such trivial shit, your game will never improve. You want pussy? Then earn it. Whining like a little punk bitch isn't going to get you anywhere. Nature wants to eradicate you…

This is a great question. I'd like to see TofuTofu or some of the other mods/experienced people post about how they do this. One of my friends is very good at this. This is what I've observed he does: He smiles a lot. He's always happy to see you, and it's never fake. He's not judgmental. You can share anything with him. He's interested in what you have to say. If he doesn't know what you're talking about, he will ask you questions with a child-like sense of enthusiasm and curiosity. He's relaxe…

How can I do direct daygame with a deadpan/crass style of humor? I'm not having much success beyond making a few girls gently chuckle. On the other hand, I can't really be goofy/silly as it's not me. Should I just pay for hookers instead? :p

Most people over-estimate what they can accomplish in a week and underestimate what they can in a year. OP, here's a list of things you should do and I promise you that your life will be better: Get a job. Any job. Don't be picky. It will get you out of the house and make you feel better about yourself. Don't bitch about this one. Really, just do it. Figure out a way to get some psychotherapy. Work on some of the deeper self-esteem issues you have. Work out. Seriously. Being active does wonders …

Thanks for your answers. I've always felt that the greatest thing about this community is how complete strangers are so willing to help each other out. May I ask a follow-up? How do I become more interesting and cool? I've hung out with people who, no matter what's going on, will just make everything fun. I can't seem to do that. People don't respond in the same way. I think you and Zan both have this thing which makes people just love being around you. Can you elaborate on how to do that? Are t…

Oh man, thanks for doing this! I have several questions for you: What are some insights Zan shared with you that you think would be helpful for us? (Also, what is it that makes Zan SO GOOD with women?) How long did it take you get good? What were your sticking points and how did you overcome them? Can you share something about how to develop self-love?

This is more of self-improvement rather than pick-up related question. You seem like an exceptional self-starter and I'm wondering, how do you deal with self-doubt? For example, what's the hardest thing you've worked your way to accomplish, and what strategies would you recommend for successfully slogging through the most difficult parts of the effort?

Warlizard, thank you so much for contributing your time. As it's the most valuable thing someone can give away -- and especially so in your case given your self-description -- it's much appreciated. I'll post my question(s) shortly - I'm reading your previous posts right now so I can ask questions you haven't answered elsewhere before. Thanks again!

Any attitudinal/psychological tips for making the sexual experience more erotic for the woman? I'm not looking for specific techniques or where erogenous zones are. Rather I want to find out how to verbally and psychologically arouse the woman - especially during ONS's where you don't have a pre-existing level of comfort to work with. Any specific examples from your experience would be great. And thank you for your contributions!

JRAlpha speaks the truth. I will offer one practical and one philosophical reason for why the seduction community uses things like FTCs, negging etc. Philosophical Have you ever gone to a restaurant where everything on the menu looks supremely appetizing? The juicy cuts of meat or the thick and hearty the mashed potatoes. Well, in a sense, none of the pictures are real. The food may be delicious, but if they were to just take a picture of the turkey right out of the oven, it would look awful and…

Caveat emptor: Online dating is a tricky because the initial tidal-wave of rejections/non-response which, while being the norm online and nothing to fret about, can easily shatter the beginner's ego, leading to inaction. I speak from experience: I was on OKC before I actively started going out and it was supremely disheartening because I found it very hard to set-up dates without the girls flaking. Moreover, because of the lack of feedback from girls I messaged, it was essentially impossible dia…

Thank you for contributing to this discussion. I, and I'm sure many others, appreciate it a lot. A few questions for you: What are some egregious mistakes/blunders do you see non-naturals make often that prevent them from getting women? Could you share what you've learned about female psychology that would help beginners understand women - especially those of us who aren't operating from the base of experience and interaction you've accumulated. For example, your observation about women being co…

I am in an experimental phase in my life. I'm trying to expand my personal comfort zone, eliminate my approach/social anxiety and fear of rejection. The goal is to implement the different streams of PU teachings in order to have an abundance of women in my life. An over-arching theme is to develop a personalized flavor of the RSD/TofuTofu-style of self-amusement and value-giving "alpha-ness". Glancing quickly at your seddit posts, I feel that you're a like-minded individual (I love Rob Judge and…

We held court on a variety of topics that caused people to laugh. Examples: extended discussions of racial stereotypes, sexuality, American vs. Japanese culture, hello kitty, what would be inappropriate ornaments for xmas trees, absurd beliefs from various religions etc. Every table I chatted-up during this exchange demonstrated incredible interest in me, where I was from, how long I was in Austin, etc.

Haha, clever #-close line! You are a meme-stud. Regarding your particular issue: I'm an rAFC as well so take my advice with a grain of salt, BUT here's what I suggest: JUST GO FOR IT. The moment you got bored of the conversation is the moment you should've initiated the kino/heavy-petting/sex etc. She's at your house, eating the food you made, watching a movie on your couch - those are all IOIs! So what if she held EC (eye contact) for 2 seconds instead of 3???? Don't miss the forest for the tre…

Thanks for your support! And I fully intend to keep posting until the [FR]'s turn into [LR]'s (oh how badly I wish to get good enough at this to be able to give back to the community!) I do hope that I can get feedback from the more seasoned sedditors, though, so I can identify where I'm messing up and fine-tune my game.
