You've used a pretty good analogy here. If someone gets a homeless person to drink piss for $20, most of us don't fixate on the fact the homeless person received $20 and cheer them on about it. We tend to focus on the grotesque exploitation of the situation. An exploitation of this imbalance of power. Why does society look at it so differently when an adult female exploits a vulnerable male child the same way?

You should respect other people and their spaces. I'm the mother of a son and I usually take my son to the barber. I've never been told I can't enter a shop but there have been times I didn't go back to shops because I could tell my presence made others unconfortable and in return made me uncomfortable. It seemed the others in the shop (all young men) had to adjust their behavior because I was there and I became conscious I was putting a damper on their experience which I did not want to do. Tho…

Thank you for being a decent human being. I really think a lot of people that would jump at an opportunity to hit somebody in this situation don't really give a shit this guy hit a girl, they just seized on a socially acceptable excuse to be violent.

Just because someone throws the first punch doesn't mean they connect.

I don't know whether or not it's intelligence or training, it may be a combination of both but teachers really need to learn/be taught how to handle these situations. I've seen a lot of them (not necessarily male vs female) and I've probably seen more staff that are less capable of diffusing it than are. It's more telling about the sad state of some American schools than anything.

That's kind of how it goes, is he more afraid of the males she has in her arsenal vs the females he has in his? Could go either way.

I've beaten the odds. Once again.

From what I've read Native Americans (male and female) have higher suicide rates than any other race when adjusted for population. Most likely to commit suicide by race American Indian White Black Asian Females most likely to commit suicide by race American Indian White Asian Black Asian men, who are least likely to commit suicide among their sex, are still more likely to commit suicide than a Native American female who have the highest rate among their sex. Males in general commit suicide more.…

Drunk female decides to drive a car, she goes to jail. Drunk female commits theft, she goes to jail. Drunk female commits murder, she goes to jail. Drunk female has sex, she sends someone else to jail and is no longer responsible for her actions while drunk?

Isn't the fact that it's not socially acceptable and a criminal offense to rape people, a likely cause why one would not admit they are a rapist to one who is not ? How many pedophiles will admit to people who are not pedophiles that they are sexually attracted to children? I'm guessing not a lot.

I agree. I took my one year old daughter to get her pictures taken around Valentines Day. The portrait studio had an adorable setting which was to photograph the child as a cupid wearing only a cloth diaper alongside a golden bow and arrow and heart. They asked how old she was and when I replied "one year," they refused to photograph her in the style, insisting it would be child pornography. The female child had to be under six months for them to take a photo. Disturbing to say the least.

That is not what I said. I don't send my young daughter into the women's bathroom either, but it's not an issue because I can obviously accompany her.

Being a mother with a young son, I have always brought him into the women's restroom with me if there is not a male in my party to accompany him to the mens. I prefer to have a watchful eye on my children rather than send them into a room full of strangers where I don't know what's going on. What is it like in a similar scenario where you are a father with a young daughter? Like a father alone with a 3 year girl that needs to use the restroom?

Yeah, I have to say I recall seeing this scenario in a number of movies and television shows.

I think there are a lot of women out there with the delusions that not only is it ok to assault a man, but also that they are going to win the fight if it came to it. Yes it is possible, but without years of training, it's probably not very likely if he decides to meet your aggression. Even then, one good punch and your done. You are not Lara Croft, G.I. Jane,, Kate Beckinsale in Underworld, or Uma Thurman in Kill Bill. I am a female. I've been in a few fights when I was younger (against females…

I've never attending a breastfeeding training class, so I'm picturing a bunch of young new mothers clumped into a room with their breasts exposed. I understand why there may be a tendency for some women to be uncomfortable in this setting. The problem probably lies somewhere in that there are a variety women in attendance, each with their own preferences and while some would be fine with a male being there, others are not. The preferences of those who are not, should be respected. It would proba…

I agree with your point of view. I had a friend in high school that slept with a boy she liked, came directly to my house very excited and eager to give details (she had been a virgin), then once she found out that he was telling every she was easy and that he was embarrassed he'd slept with her and regretted it, she changed her story and accused him of date rape. She never attempted to have him charged with a crime, but she did a lot to try and ruin his reputation, which I suppose she thought w…

I am curious as to whether or not your mother was very controlling and overbearing, not trusting you to make your own decisions which may have left you feeling undervalued and like a burden in the home?

I agree with the latter half of your comment but state health care often covers contraception.

Wear a condom before conception, shithead.

Men have 0% control? Have you ever heard of condoms? If you don't want a child, don't make one in the first place or you are going to end up in a spot where you have little control. Nip it in the bud. Exercise your control in the beginning when you have it, wear a condom. Yes a woman has more control in the sense that she can abort once she's pregnant, but it's simple biology, the child is in her body. A dead beat father who doesn't take care of his child is no different than a deadbeat mother w…

After an eye opening experience where my uncle was held in jail for over a year awaiting trial for kidnapping his son from his own home when THERE WAS NO CUSTODY ORDER. He was the primary care giver to his son as he was a stay at home father while his wife worked. (He was a former Marine who received disability which was service related). After being found not guilty, it was later established that his wife had been both pysically and psychologically abusive and he was awarded sole custody of his…

It reminds me of an experience I had working in an environment very much like high school. There were a lot of young people there and there was a lot of flirting going on constantly. Sometimes I would get flirted with but I just brushed it off because I was in a relationship. One day a female friend I had calls me over to her desk to tell me how she just reported a male friend of mine for sexual harassment and he was promptly fired as a result. I asked her what he'd done and it really didn't amo…

The "proof" you linked is from a source that is unreliable and the article doesn't even hold water as far as their own standards. There are less than a million mixed race blacks?
