Brother you're worried about a 1 or 2 year gap??? If that killed your interest it's really a you problem. From your interactions though it doesn't seem like anything where she is interested in you a lot. You'll need to do more anyway so if you are interested keep talking to her and read the body language. If not then move on.

Dude how did that chat go? If she seemed dismissive of you and you didn't feel a vibe let go. But if you thought the vibe was there, she was smiling while talking and was interested in talking to you, she's just testing your comfort with women her age. If you saw all this then definitely ask IG and talk more to her. As long as y'all are adults, its both of your consent that matters. Age is just a number then.

Because LinkedIn literally isn't what this is for? While LinkedIn is its own cesspool full of people being pretentious it is widely only used to show your job off and your achievements. 90% of the people send DMs to reach out for job referrals or connections on a professional level should a job become available later. So I'll tell you what I experience right. The place that I go for now where I see women the most is the gym. Gym is a very controversial place to talk to women if you will. Factors like they wear earphones and in general don't really wanna be approached?
