No. Stop. We're not stooping to misogyny, regardless of the level of misandry we're seeing. Remember that this is feminism and female supremacy, not women. Try to keep the ideology, the people, and the gender separate, because they are separate.

I know exactly who did that last facebook comment. I've got that exact same screenshot saved on my phone (no, I won't be giving it out). The fact that she herself posted this and was not only so proud of it, but had literal hundreds of feminists agreeing with her, just goes to show how common misandry really is.

Those of us who prefer productive discourse and raising awareness to inflammatory language and stooping to their level would rather have evidence for our claims.

Uh, no; what? Nothing says that he died. And it was two nights in a row, not both in one night, so he can't have been "dead the next day." You're absolutely right, though; it was 100% rape.

Let's avoid actual misogyny. We're better than the sexists in OP's pics.

Don't listen to any haters on here. It's fantastic that you've come out of bigotry, regardless of what's caused that to happen. People often don't change until something big happens that shatters their worldview. That's human. The fact that not only are you no longer advocating hatred, but you did your research and found out how widespread that hatred actually is, and now you're advocating against it? That's fantastic; we welcome you! I hope you continue to do this, and don't get discouraged!

Keep in mind this is a "suffragette," not a "suffragist." Suffragists were essentially the MLKJrs of women's rights; they believed in using legal channels, nonviolent protests, and peaceful means in order to advance their cause. Suffragettes were not any of that. Suffragettes were active terrorists, using arson, explosives, and other random acts of violence to try to get attention. And when push came to shove with WWI, they quite literally abandoned their cause to instead push the White Feather …

Well, considering those are things that are quite recent (approx. the '50s), most likely it's the result of WWII PTSD-afflicted veterans who weren't able to deal with their issues because nobody understood that they were issues at the time. And the sexually active thing is also mostly from the '60s on; it's — once again — a relatively new concept, culturally speaking. You just don't really see those specific gender roles talked about pre-WWII. The idea that they're older than that is a myth, alb…

Oh, like Sally Miller Gearheart, the main radical feminist who shaped modern feminism? You know, the woman who declared in her seminal speech The Future—If There Is One—Is Female that men are the inferior gender and should be reduced to a mere 10% of the population through eugenics programs, even if there's no appreciable change in societal structure or issues? Or how about the Duluth model of domestic violence, which asserts confidently that men cannot be victims of domestic violence, and that …

No, we don't. Patriarchy is a far-left conspiracy theory on par with the NWO or "Jews run the world" nonsense from the far right. The only "evidence" it exists is based on circular reasoning which already presupposes its existence. And feminist studies is a "science" so soft it's basically fluid at this point. Feminism has created huge numbers of problems for men; the Duluth model of domestic abuse is a stunning example of this, as the feminist authors explicitly ignored evidence that proves men…

Eh, I wouldn't go that far. The thing is mainly that men do most of the trucking, the drilling, the driving, the building, etc. And men do have slightly higher protein needs. There's just no need for that protein to come from meats, or even tofu, as you and I both know. Most men don't know that, but that's a matter of education; the people downvoting the both of us probably think that vegan food is "salad and fake meat" or something like that.
/r/MensRights21/05/25 11:40 PM

Lol people downvoting you can't get over their "sOyBoY" bias. Mr. Universe was vegan a few years back; you don't need meat to be big and strong, or even masculine. Beans and guacamole combined have roughly the same amount of carnitine as meat, which is the only reason meat makes you "more manly." Vegan is cheaper, too, if you largely avoid the processed meat substitutes and just go for whole foods.

I feel like this may be a misreading of a poorly-worded headline; I'd have to read the article to know for sure. It may be that the headline means, "What are the main crimes women are convicted of that land them into prison" rather than "why are women more likely than men to be imprisoned"; I'm gonna go check. Edit: Yup, this is the case. Not the best wording for a title, but it's an older, more formal phrasing, which is why many people may misunderstand it.

Pay gap Debunked. Motherhood penalty Never heard of this before; is this a new buzzword? Point 2: Ah yes, the solution with women having control over men's reproductive rights is to...checks notes...give women even greater control over men's reproductive rights? Not sure what the logic is there. The patriarchy is a left-wing conspiracy theory that somehow made it to mainstream. Like all conspiracy theories, it is unverifiable, has a cultish following, shifts goalposts at every turn, and refuses to rely on anything actually verifiable to prove its existence. It is on par with the "Illuminati", "global elite/new world order", and "Jews control the world" theories, with as much evidence as flat Earth, and as much rational thought behind it as "rock formations are the remains of giant trees…

I guess I didn't word it clearly; I also think women are victimized by other women, just like men are victimized by other men. And I also agree that it's not talked about nearly enough. But at least they are more likely to be seen as victims, even if they aren't talked about. Society is more positive towards women overall, and more negative towards men (this is called the "women are wonderful effect", and it's well-documented).

A victim card is where someone claims to be a victim of something, when either no crime or harm has been inflicted, or when the complaint actually affects all sides equally. In this case, the artist of this particular meme insists that women are victimized by men, while men are not victimized by anyone. This is not only false in that men are indeed victimized not only by other men, but also by women quite frequently, but it is also false in that it implies that men are not victimized by other pe…

As does high alcohol/beer consumption, sedentary lifestyles, and lack of physical eustress (e.g. exercise, cold showers, etc., which both raise testosterone uptake and overall levels). It is indeed the left. It's also the right. Everyone — all sides — have become significantly more autoritarian and exclusionary over the last couple of decades. Now, I think the left have done it slightly more than the right has, thus why they lost the election this time around (though that is only one of many factors which determined their loss), but both do it pretty regularly.

Actually, they don't have higher rates of attempts. The only reason the statistics suggest that they do is because they count all individual instances of self-harm as a suicide attempt, regardless of intent. So every single act of cutting, for example, is counted as an attempt, even if the individual is not actually suicidal or attempting suicide. Women self-harm way more than men do; thus the artificially-inflated statistics.

Really? Is that why a central feminist leader, Sally Miller Gearheart, openly declared that women are the superior gender in her famous speech, The Future - If There Is One - Is Female? Is that why feminists can publish books titled things like I Hate Men, but if an MRA even attempted to publish an equivalent book they would be crucified (and rightly so)? You know, men actually do seek them out. I've seen several statistics showing that 70-90% of men who commit suicide actually sought help through therapy, and found that it didn't work. So therapy isn't working for men. Which is no surprise, considering therapy largely treats men like defective women, at best ignoring the fact that men experience, express and process emotions very differently than women do. Don't need to be a lawyer. It's against men. And it's kosher right now to be sexist against men. So no one cares. (Actually, a lot of even European countries define rape as "man forcing woman to have sex against her will" (Ireland is one example), so the UK and US are actually a little better, because at least men can legally be considered victims in those countries.

I myself am a victim of that kind of abuse (as an adult), but it's likely that I won't be considered a victim of abuse when counted in the statistics from this survey, because the type of abuse I suffered from isn't questioned for.

Let me ask you a question: Would you still answer the bear if it was between a woman and a bear? If so, that's fine. You're consistent. Anger is not wrong any more than happiness, joy, or delight would be. Anger is simply a response to a perceived wrong done to us or someone/something we care about. Sometimes wrong has actually been done, sometimes we're just misinterpreting the situation. Yes, unresolved or chronic anger is unhealthy. But every emotion is unhealthy if taken to the extreme. However, anger itself is not unhealthy if it is handled properly.

Fascism was the "third way", an alternative between communism and capitalism. Spain. India. Two major examples right there. Even when women can be charged with DV, they usually aren't. And even when they are, they are both charged at significantly lower rates than men are (despite the gender parity of the issue) and also receive significantly shorter sentences than their male counterparts thanks to the gender sentencing gap (which is greater than the racial sentencing gap, FYI). No matter what way you look at it, women who commit DV, even in the US, most often get away wi…

Yet that is still counter to patriarchy, because those men would not be put down if they were in a system that said that men were inherently more valuable/have more authority than women. Patriarchy would insist that all men are more important than all women. It's kind of written into the definition. So the fact that those men are seen as weak and not valuable/less valuable than women itself disproves the idea of patriarchy.

...Have you opened a dictionary? The word "patriarchy" literally means "a societal system where men rule/are considered to have greater authority/are considered the more valuable of the sexes." None of the stuff you said about weak men matters at all in a real patriarchy. (Also, traditional values for men are kind of a mixed bag. How much of it is enforced socially, and how much of it is inherent to masculinity? For example, just because men don't express or process emotions the same way as wome…

What a disingenuous question. When there's sufficient evidence. In many countries (including western, European ones) around the world, male victims legally can't even receive help, never mind justice, because women can by law only be considered victims of DV, and men can by law only be considered perpetrators.

I hate to break it to you, but you're very wrong. As another commenter mentioned, feminism came up with the "Duluth model of domestic violence", which outright states that men can only be perpetrators of domestic abuse/violence, and that women can only be victims. This model is still the primary model used in US law enforcement, DV resources (like shelters and counseling), mental health resources, etc. In many countries, including western ones, women cannot be arrested for or charged with domest…

That's not really an apt analogy at all. You're comparing a multicausal thing to a single cause thing. The excess calories which cause obesity can indeed come from anything you eat, not just chocolate. Only one thing can make a child, and that's having sex. It might not happen every time, but sex is still the only way a child is going to be created. It's not like you can just go about life and do everything but sex and still somehow end up with a child. No sex, no children. The risk of having ki…

I mean, the correct response is leaving both the room and the relationship because it's abusive behavior and that's never okay, and following up with counseling if needed. Because that's exactly what you're telling the victim to do emotionally.

Mate, when dealing with something as subjective as opinions, your frame of reference is essential. I don't think it's a desire to oppress others so much as it's a heavily perverted (and very much blind) desire for "justice." There has never been a truely matriarchal society other than feminism. Societies where women are considered better leaders, etc. than men tend to be more democratic and communal. Let's not blame the media in this particular sort of thing. It's probably not legal for them to call it rape, as it's not legally classified as rape in many countries. Definitely not normal, but definitely both sexes do it. Once again, this is different than "not feeling like it"; that's normal. This is full-blown abuse. Statistically speaking, sex generally isn't as important for a woman as it is for a man. Doesn't mean they don't like/want it, but it's not as important to them (generally). So it's not unusual for some women to weaponize sex. It's not about sex, really; what matters to this sort of woman (really, this sort of person) is control.
/r/MensRights19/01/23 03:32 AM

A woman threatens with sex, she threatens the reason the man is in that kind of relationship. A man threatens with exclusivity; the reason that the woman enters that kind of relationship. Nope. While Adam was punished for his sin with backbreaking work and fruitless/harmful labors (weeds and thorns), Eve also received punishment for her decision directly, through menstruation, painful birth, and extra submission to her husband. She got extra as the first to fall.

Well, not quite. Emotions can be unhealthy if they're in the wrong context. It's not healthy, for example, to be angry inappropriately (e.g. many feminists). If you only perceive injury or wrong without there being any actual injury or wrong, that's an unhealthy emotion. That doesn't mean that it's bad or wrong to feel those emotions. Just that they aren't healthy in those contexts.
/r/MensRights20/12/22 05:30 AM

Anger can also be the healthy response to perceived injury or wrong. The problem is that the perception can be very faulty, to the point where good is perceived as evil, and evil as good.

Ah yes, feminists are so intellectually honest that they publish only what is true. It's totally not like they literally published Mein Kampf but with Jews and Aryans swapped out for Men and Women, respectively. It's not like feminists literally publish misandrist material that would get banned if it was against any other group (excepting, perhaps, people of ethnic European background), including material advocating the reduction of the male population to 10% (keeping them only for breeding purp…

Discrimination based on gender. If it could be proved that the Starbucks would not have done the same thing if a random woman had approached this woman, or if it had been a random woman approaching a man, then it's textbook discrimination and quite a good amount of money could easily be given as compensation.

You make a good point. Let me add to it. One of the biggest problems society has as far as male mental health (aside from outright ignoring it most of the time) is the assumption that men need to process and handle their emotions the exact same way that women do. This is completely wrong, and is demonstrated by the fact that, with most mental illnesses/disorders, men and women exhibit different symptoms. For example, women with depression tend to get random sad/crying spells, while men tend to f…

Besides this, 70% of all non-reciprocal domestic violence is perpetrated by women. That's right, she and everyone else around him accuse him of being an abuser. Most men probably could physically restrain abusive women. However, this is where psychological abuse comes into play. It also depends on whether you consider psychological harm to be as serious as physical harm. We don't have a lot of data on emotional/psychological abuse perpetuated by women against men, largely because of the Duluth model. So that complicates things further. Yeah, no. I think the biggest issue for men today is that we are treated like defective women, starting from preschool all the way up through old age. At every step we are expected to be just like girls/women, even though we think differently, learn differently, have different interests, process emotions differently, have different physiological needs (just look up exercise needs for men vs. women; that alone is incredibly significant), have different approaches to life's problems, and basically…

Started taking a couple herbs that have the side effect of increasing overall testosterone (I'm taking them in hopes of controlling my ADHD, as I don't like what stimulants do to me personally; the testosterone thing is not why I'm taking them), and oh my word. I have never felt manlier or healthier in my. whole. life. Masculinity is something to be embraced by men. It's amazing.

I mean, what about the case where boys were made to apologize to girls for all the things men have done to women? Or the fact that the Duluth model (the basis for many countries' "justice" systems for domestic abuse/violence) quite literally says that domestic abuse/violence is not the individual man's fault, but is because of a "socially reinforced sense of entitlement" that all men are supposed to have. The only one in the wrong here is you.

Well, here's two of them. And quoting from this website here: According to most Civil War accounts the male nurse ratio to that of women nurses was five to one. And they were still called nurses then. In fact, it was the actions of the female nurses in the Civil War that helped solidify the concept of the ideal nurse being a woman in the American mind.

...That's an ad for a modern military position that's not at all what a military nurse is/does. Nurses are not, and never have been directly in the middle of fighting, not even during the American Civil War (when most nurses were men). Different job.

Boys and girls should be raised differently. The problem is that they're not being raised that way. Boys and girls learn differently than each other, and pretty much everywhere in the world you go, you will find that boys are taught, punished, and treated as if they have no different needs than girls do. We absolutely need to raise them differently, because they don't have the same needs.

Remember that men also don't have reproductive rights at all. Any "right" that's only afforded to one group, and not any others, is not a right by definition. It's a privilege. Also, and this is very important: Abortion has not been made illegal. Medically-necessary abortions, and abortions in cases of rape and incest, are still legal in all fifty states. It hasn't used the draft recently, no, but not only is it still on the books, legislators refuse to remove it. Like I said, I don't think it's an appropriate or accurate comment. But they aren't saying that they support what this man did. India is one of the most populated (and most densely populated) countries in the world, and it's also got a lot of different types of bigotry in almost every section of society. There are lots of misogynists there. There are a lot of misandrists there (just look at the feminists who lobbied successfully against gender-neutral rape and domestic violence laws; as of right…

Notice they didn't say that they agree with it. They literally said that it's evil, and that the women do evil things, too (I mightn't think it's quite an appropriate time to say that, or indeed that it's quite accurate (that is, I don't think that this is men reacting, or for that matter that the women react to men, either; it's just evil people being evil), but they didn't agree with it).

Ah yes, the Blue Zone studies, the China Study, and all the mountains of individual studies connecting longevity with eating more plant foods and less animal foods, were entirely organized by Seventh-Day Adventists - a large percentage of said church, by the way, absolutely refuses to become vegan, and many of whom even reject the most basic tenets of health which the church espouses. Depends on which vegans you're talking about. There's two groups: vegans who are vegan because of "moral" reasons (usually the self-righteous, projector type), and vegans who do it because of health reasons - and believe me, it isn't "pseudoscience." It's important to remember that psychology, like education, is dominated by women - both as clients and as practitioners. Most research done about emotional expression is therefore going to heavily represent women's psychological characteristics, and very lightly present men's psychological characteristics. To complicate things further, many of the men who are represented in the research are going to be more similar in psychology to women than many men are; the reverse is also true, that the wom…

Only on a federal level. RvW was on shaky ground, and even progressive justices like RBG believed it should be repealed and dealt with in another way. It's going to still be possible to protect it on a state level. If voters (the majority of whom in every state singly, and also nationwide, are women) want it protected, they'll protect it. If they don't want it protected (again, a majority of women voters), then they'll not protect it.

Well yes, of course. But the issue is that this is a definition that comes from feminism, not from outside of it. It refutes your point, as feminism (where the myth of the patriarchy originated) does not use the definition you are using.

Self defense, or defense of family. However, a man cannot even do either of those things against a woman. See, there's two problems with your argument: first, I never made that claim, nor did I assert that others were wrong about antifeminism. Second, I never claimed to be an antifeminist in the first place. So your argument is doubly fallacious. See, the problem with your point is that the way you define equality is not how the thought leaders of feminism currently are defining equality. So you might say that they're wrong, but they'd just as easily say that you're wrong. And who do you think peopl…

The percentages of rape aren't actually that different - when you include forced-to-penetrate, that is. When you do that, men are raped by women about as often as women are raped by men. Then you include male-on-male rape, and men might actually be raped overall more than women are (though female-on-female rape is also a thing; I haven't seen any statistics on them, though). That being said, the issue isn't that people do these things. The issue is that men don't have legal protection against ma…

What rights do men have that women don't? "Bodily autonomy?" Men don't have that, either. This is ridiculous. Why are they complaining about statues? If they think that there aren't enough statues honoring women who made great accomplishments, then why don't they just commission some to be made? There's no law against making statues of women. All they need to do is find a sculptor who is willing to do it; they can even find a female sculptor, at that! Why is this an issue? Mountains out of molehills, methinks.

War is about tactics, yes, but also about implementing those tactics before the enemy can do anything about it. On average, men have greater endurance then women, and that plays a huge factor in warfare. Considering how the vast majority of situations we hear about toxic women with a boyfriend who has a toxic ex end up with the woman not changing at all, this is a much better alternative.

If she pinches his butt and does nothing else? There is no world where that's an appropriate use of force. It might be appropriate if she was trying to pin him down to rape him, or trying to attack him with a knife or other weapon.

Would you be okay with a boy ramming a stick up a girl's lady parts if she pinched his butt? Because that's the level of violence being done to the guy here. He clearly needs to be taught a lesson, but a slap on his face would do that well enough. It's funny; many of the people who support this idea would cry foul about "equal force" if a man was defending himself against a woman. I do support the use of equal force, for clarity. And doing violence to genitals - no matter the gender - is not acc…

Men generally want to be treated more sexually. This is probably at least partly because male sexuality is treated as potentially dangerous, gross, selfish, and wrong, and also because women generally aren't taught/expected to initiate sexual intercourse or to work for their partner's pleasure (at least, according to many of the comments I've seen in this and other similar subreddits of men complaining that their female partners hardly put out any effort to make sex enjoyable for the man). Of co…

That's probably more an indictment of how we treat male sexuality rather than sexualization itself. Men are expected to do all the work and to promote their partner's pleasure and enjoyment, but the same message isn't given to women. Never mind, of course, the constant messaging that male sexuality is gross and disgusting, while female sexuality is seen as powerful and liberating. All that is going to have a part to play.

No; the character was quite distinct from Bond in a number of ways (one of the ones I can think of at the moment is that, despite her "sex appeal", she didn't sleep around; she was just really flirtatious); it's been nearly a decade now since I've even thought about it, so the details are a bit fuzzy. She also wasn't technically a spy so much as a mercenary in the underworld, coming into conflict with the secret service quite often. One of the most interesting things about the story was the fact…

I remember one of my friends from high school was an aspiring author, and she had a fantastic female spy character that was everything that you would expect out of such a character, not unlike James Bond in sex appeal, classiness, casual confidence/suavity, etc., and it had action, intrigue, and everything else that you would expect from a good spy story. Would have made a good movie. Even would have had a great title: "Red Herring."

Sorry for the really clunky quoting; on mobile. "...She just said 'Well it's not the same...'" "...She started mocking me 'Aww, does hearing those words make you sad, are you gonna cry like little baby?'" The first statement is gaslighting, and the second is derogatory and belittling language. This is not just harsh or mean behavior, it is outright emotional abuse. Set up your boundaries and cut her off now. If she really cares about you, she'll question her own behavior, and may correct herself…

Definitely agree. On top of that, it is also important to realize that just because men don't express their emotions by crying or talking it out doesn't mean that they don't express their emotions. As I said on a post in another group, what may have a woman bawling her eyes out in grief might have a man beating a punching bag in anger. Neither are inappropriate responses to loss or trauma. A woman may grieve over a loss, or weep at her pain and suffering, and there is nothing wrong with that. A …

Did you read the article? Did you even read the title? It’s men thinking they are entitled to sex because “sex is more important to men than we think” No. The article says "Men need to feel desired sexually." That is worlds away from what you are claiming. The article has nothing to do with entitlement to sex, and is not about sex itself being more important. Men don't just want sex, we want our partners to want to have sex with us - in other words, we want our partners to enjoy the sexual aspec…

How is your "point" even relevant to the article? The fact that the article literally says that it's a surprise that men want not just sex, but to be sexually desired, should let you know that this isn't about feeling "owed sex" at all. It isn't, "Honey, I worked very hard this week, so therefore you need to have sex with me." It is, "Honey, I'd appreciate it if you would initiate sex some of the time instead of always expecting me to do it." Your comment addressed literally nothing in the artic…

And all those terrible things that happen to men are by and large done by other men. That might hold true for homicides, but regarding DV, DA and rape, it isn't true. Women are more likely to abuse their partners than men are, and on top of that you have the fact that gay men have the lowest rates of DV and DA of any marital relationship, while lesbian women have the highest rates (heterosexual couples fall smack in the middle; big surprise there). If men really were the main source of violence …

I think you'll find it hard for women to sympathize with men who can and do legally rape and murder (honor killings) women/girls/female children. And men aren't victims of this, too? In the UK, male honor abuse victims now coming forward are about 1 in 5 cases, and it is estimated that there are quite a few more that go totally unreported; my guess is that it would be about equal, just like with DV, DA, and rape. Like in Honduras for instance, on average, one woman is murdered on average every 1…

I think you would find many society-wide issues that men face in those countries based on the fact that they are men - in other words, systemic sexism. For example, men in such countries are left behind to fend for themselves in dangerous and life-threatening circumstances while the women (and children) receive special foreign aid (see what just happened in Afghanistan), and the men go through this solely because they are men. Systemic sexism against women in third-world countries, though, is a …

So more women were not allowed to own property than men, throughout history since Biblical times. Women in the Bible were allowed to own property; they were even allowed to be primary heirs, though that was only in cases that there was no male heir. However, women in the Bible absolutely could own property, they just generally had it rough because there was no social support system outside of children - and this was also the case for men. Women, however, were especially provided for, as the sort…

Patriarchy, under the definition that feminism uses, does not exist, and never has. Yes, some men have certainly had things better, but a lot of the issues that women faced were also faced by many men. Voting, for example, was limited not merely to men, but specifically to men who owned property - a demographic that was a lot smaller than many people think. Witch trials? Prior to the 14th century, the majority of the victims were men, not women, and plenty still were. The so-called "pay gap"? Di…

Women were allowed to own property in plenty of places around the world. Don't confuse late 18th/early 19th century American policies with worldwide issues. Also many men couldn't own property either, so the point is moot. Women didn't need bank accounts in America, because they were literally entitled to all their husband's money (and property). Also, besides this, women technically could have a bank account, they just needed a cosigner (usually their husband). Not saying this was right, just c…

This actually can be a thing for depression in general, in addition to apathy - although the SSRI's are probably to blame for much of it. It's something that a lot of people don't understand. We as guys can have intensely strong relationships with other guys that aren't sexual in the least, but we may be closer to each other than we are to our own wives/girlfriends. It gets sexualized because society can't understand that men aren't wanting to have sex with anything and everything. Not saying that homosexuality doesn't exist, but that it is separate from what you're describing/experiencing.

It goes without saying that you also cannot get Heme-Iron, CoQ10 or CLA Heme iron is not an essential form of iron. Yes, it is more readily absorbed by the body, but plant sources of iron are aided with vitamin C (which they both naturally have and are also usually prepared with), and so this is a moot point which I already dealt with. CoQ10 has plenty of plant-based sources, including oranges, lentils, soybeans, spinach, and broccoli, so your sources are wrong here. CLA is not an essential form…

Vitamine: A, B6 (pyridoxal, pyridoxamine), B12, D, F, K12 Amino Acids: Creatine, Carnitine, Carnosine, Taurine. Let's deal with this one by one. Vitamin A: Beta-carotene (and all carotenoids) are known as provitamin A because they can easily be transformed into Vitamin A - to the point that, in the US, foods that have high levels of carotenoids are simply listed as having high levels of vitamin A. ...legumes, nuts and leafy greens are infamous for causing digestion issues in humans; including bloating, acid reflux, gas and in some cases diarrhea, because they sit in our stomachs for longer periods of time before being fully digested (they literally rot in your stomach as your body struggles to digest them, this is why when you eat beans your stomach hurts from bloating, as you burp and fart your life away for a while after eating them, for example). All the things you listed cause disgestion problems in humans when eaten in large quantities or often enough. So the fact that all of these items are the foundation of every human diet besides the western diet (which isn't terribly healthy, otherwise we wouldn't have such a prevalence of lifestyle-caused diseases) doesn't phase you? You have to realise, veganism is not just an interest of the SDAC Did you not read my comment? you'll find that it supports a whole-food, plant-based diet the last study (Adventist Health Study II) claimed to find pescatarianism to be the best diet They literally attempted to make it so that a vegan diet was not what the study endorsed, despite the data.

Also, for the record, if you actually look at the data of Adventist Health Study II, you'll find that it supports a whole-food, plant-based diet, not a pescatarian diet, but the researchers interpreted the data how they wanted, so if you want to talk about SDA bias and veganism, you'd best understand that they're not exactly biased towards it.

Just so you know, most Adventists aren't vegan by any stretch of the imagination. Also the last study (Adventist Health Study II) claimed to find pescatarianism to be the best diet, so you're very wrong on that. Thirdly, the blue zone studies, not run nor organized by the SDA Church, actually support a vegan diet, alongside many other studies. So you're quite incorrect on many fronts.

A man stands up for what he believes in, but does not refuse or belittle the right of others to do the same. A man (and, for that matter, a decent human) does not just consider his own good when he is making decisions, but also the good of the people around him. A man is able to identify with and express his emotions in a way that is unique to his own nature - not necessarily by verbal expression or otherwise in the same manner as a woman might do so. A man recognizes his own limits and is not a…
