See you would THINK so. But that actually hasn't been my experience. Examples from my own life: Close college friend. Never did anything during college because I didn't want to "make things weird" between us since we shared the same group of friends. Fast forward a few years I visit her with no real intentions of anything other then catching up, we end up messing around. Next day everything is normal and friendship has really not been effected at all. A different close college friend from that s…

I would say that you can't appreciate a truly good relationship until you've had sex with lots of women and come to the realization that sex, is sex, and not nearly as fulfilling in an of itself as the media would have you believe. But that's really not the point of this post. If you're too scared to make a move you're likely not going to end up in too many fulfilling relationships.

I think of "making my intentions known" as letting her know that I'm a sexual person and interested in her sexually. I don't do it in a really direct manner. I've found that being more subtle and playful is much more effective then going direct. Although I did once just ask a girl if she wanted to come over and make out after two minutes of talking to her on facebook(lol I know right?) and that turned out well. Here's how I show my intentions: Touch! Gentle hand on the lower back as you guide he…

This this this. There's so many nuances that go into making a woman receptive to your advances... nobody is advocating anyone to ignore all of those and just go for the kill. The point is that when the time is right, making sexual advances will not lead to you getting slapped/ignored/etc.

Agreed. I noticed something interesting a few months back. I'd been going on a ridiculous amount of coffee dates, probably 2-3 a week. I'd typically try to choose seating that would allow me to reach out and touch her arms/hands/legs easily but sometimes the shop is crowded and we have to end up sitting in a big booth where it becomes a bit awkward to reach all the way across to touch her, and the only place I can really do it is to touch her hand. So in those situations there's a lot less physi…

Let me clarify this post a little bit. The term "escalation" can mean a number of different things. In the context of this post I am specifically talking about going for the kiss and then progression from there to sex. I am NOT talking about kissing someone you just met five minutes ago. I am NOT talking about chasing a girl around trying to grab her hand after she's clearly showed that she's not interested. This post is specifically for the situation where you've already built attraction, she's…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
