I work in what could be referred to as the last bastion of workplace masculine safety. The Trades. Specifically railroad equipment maintenance. Our HR has women, Legal has women, manpower has women, Cleaning has women. But when it comes to turning wrenches on hard gravel or concrete in rain and snow. The crafts are 99% men. We know how good we have it and we try to keep it that way.

They separate the boys from the girls at the boy scout level. Cub Scouts is fully integrated though. At the boy scout level it's still an all boys environment. Mostly. The main issue is less Dads are involved so it's mostly a mom run institution now. I am a former cub scout leader.

I know I can write, but when it comes to situations like this, I feel a moderate tone is needed. I know myself well enough to know that I would not be able to be that moderate voice. I become more enraged with every sentence. This unfortunately make my writing more vitriolic, which is not helpful, to me or other men and boys.

I will have e to scour the internet for it, bit at some point someone did an energy analysis for toilet seat position and determined Mathematically that leaving the seat in the position after you've used it is the most efficient method. E.g. you're standing you leave the seat up, you're sitting leave the seat down. When I find it I will post. up-or-down-an-efficiency-based-argument-for-optimal-toilet-seat-placement/ So it doesn't EXACTLY say that... but at least now you have math to support your…

First of all, welcome. I feel like No one has said that yet. I understand you may be gung ho but the most important thing to do before charging forward is to educate yourself. Facts are our shields and swords here. Secondly always remember to remain calm and don't shout people down. The ideas we present here are "unpopular" truths. If you yell them at people, they'll label you a bully and you'll be ignored. Ease your way into it, arm yourself with facts, be kind, be polite. Foster conversation. …

Well today is international women's day. Google has an international women's day doodle on the main page. They did nothing for international men's day, I checked. So what harm is there in typing some words into a search engine to show them that this 50% of the population would like some recognition on men's day. It's not blowing up the old Bailey while the 1812 overture plays. It's a small statement that everyone can easily make.
/r/MensRights08/03/18 12:46 PM

Sorry man, but this still doesn't help your argument. I'm not trolling you. I'm seriously trying to help. This is an article that proposes minor mutilation to avoid major mutilation. It doesn't say it's harmless, it just says having it done by someone here would be less harmful and it was immediately shut down. I get where your going with this. Trust me I don't support any type of genital mutilation. But I don't think the opinions of 2 doctors from India will have any bearing on the world stage. I understand how this may seem like a parallel to an argument we both support, but it's an outlier. Because it's an outlier as far as modern cultural western opinion goes it's a poor argument. If these doctors were in NY, Toronto or London you might have a case. Call me biased, but if it doesn't come from a "de…

The main issue I always have with arguing with any of the "opressed" class is that they refuse to accept that they are not victims. I feel that this is because if they accept that whoever they are "the man" is not actively holding them back. This realization would force them to accept their failures as purely their own. With No one to blame but themselves for their lives. It seems nowadays like everyone needs a scapegoat.

The thing is, it's easier to look at a block graph or chart than actually read an article so most people will take this as gospel. Unless someone makes a formal complaint and forces a retraction nothing will change... and the retraction will moat likely be small and go unnoticed.

How is this deemed education? It is indoctrination plain clean and simple. The college system in the US is so broken. They brainwash more than they educate.

I think the mens rights community needs to support vasalgel https://www.parsemus.org/projects/vasalgel/ From what I've read it might just be the male reproductive silver bullet.

There should be no such thing as fat acceptance. Being fat is unhealthy, fat acceptance just encourages people to be unhealthy.

I reaf places are doing this because when they change the rooms to "sitting" and "standing" women complained about the lines and about having to share a restroom with men. Absolute selfish bullshit!

There are several comments below about how the MRM has gone conservative. I personally feel the way we present our argument needa to take a more progressive tone. The movement itself proposes a change, and is progressive by definition.

I dont think of mens rights as a conservative stance, and I think personally that if the mens rights movement started acting as progressive as it is there would be less backlash against it.

I see no indication that the setvices being provided wont be available for men and there is no hard data indicating that the 17 suicides were mostly male. We may be getting upset for nothing.

Its the industry standard in the US, up until recently you would have to specifically request that your child remain uncircumcised or hospitals would do it as procedure.

Although that is a fun tidbit of information, my general question leads to more of the gender inequality of the issue. I can talk all day about ugly pussies, but of a celebrity said he hated slopy pussies he would be lambasted. I understand that people in This forum have no issue expressing themselves in the name of equality, my question is why are we allowing the penis in its natural form to be publicly shamed?

This makes no sense, just make one sitting only and one standing only. The urinals will only be used by people with the proper equipment for the task.

I did not realize the Jewish faith was so strict on this subject. I have had this discussion with many Jews and most are open to it. I can see that you are quite devout and I can appreciate how strongly you must believe. That being said, this is a friendly discussion. I have been nothing but polite and understanding. Which what I expect in return. I have not degraded you or your faith. I have been polite and understanding. I am not pushing my faith on you nor do I want your faith forced on me. I…

But what about your sons faith? I honestly believe god would want him to decide for himself and would forgive you for being kind and open enough to let him decide. Im not bashing your religion, but it may not be your sons religion. He will eventually become his own man, with his own opinions and ideas. It only fair to give him the opportunity. Last timt I checked, your god was a forgiving deity. If you truly believe, give your son the opportunity to accept your faith and decide to please god by …

Nobody here is denying you your faith. But if you have a son and He does not want to be a mislim or a jew he should be able to keep his body intact until he is of an age to decide. I was cut immediately after my birth without being consulted. I did not decide what religion I was until after I was out of college. I cant have my penis made whole again, I would have liked to have been able to decide for myself. Is Waiting so much to ask?
