I recently saw a Comercial on YouTube about gender equality. Some of the things I saw in it were things from "How to raise feminist son?" To "How to celebrate International Women's Day?" And all that stuff.

Actually I'm pretty sure that didn't even show up in the US. It was like Russia's men's day or something. Not even the same day as international men's day.

Probably celebrated due to the massive financial crisis of 2008. The suicide rates of men were probably skyrocketing and they needed to give men hope so they could ensure women get more shiny things when everything recovers.
