Breathe man. If I knew you were going to abandon sentence structure I’d have backed off. Actually, this is a comment I would have made a few years ago back when I was fully brainwashed. The war in Ukraine made me realize how screwed the right is. I really have to thank people like you for helping me in my journey to de-program from the insane kremlin talking points touted on Reddit. Hope you see it too someday.

I agree. Ukraine’s independence is a cause we should support on an ideological level, but the west has lost its moral compass completely. It restores a little faith in humanity to see a reaction in the more hesitant nations around the world to the bombing of hospitals and the leveling of cities. The war could end tomorrow if Putin called off his military invasion.

Unfortunately this is a very pro-russia subreddit. I think you’re also discounting that people were displaced by the war. It doesn’t mean they suffered the same as men fighting and dying but nevertheless it has severely impacted the country and its people. No, people do not attack russia for only drafting men. At least not here.

Thanks for having the courage to jump in the trench with me on Ukraine on this subreddit. I genuinely made a mistake in giving the impression I was defending the institution of conscription. But I also realize as an American that not every country is the USA. Conscription—like nuclear weapons—is unfortunately still a part of strategic deterrence. But it’s aging and conscripted soldiers genuinely suck at fighting—as Russia is discovering. And Ukraine was quick to learn this lesson. Soldiers on th…

Then what are you contributing to the conversation really? Besides supporting Russian Vatnik talking points. Be creative. Also Ukraine has really clamped down on corruption. They had issues in the 90s up through the 2010s, but as they have shifted toward the west a lot of European powers have put pressure on Kyiv to fix things. And it has worked so far. Don’t believe everything you read online.

Well yeah. It’s an outdated and ineffective system. It should go. Given Ukraine can’t change their constitution in the midst of a war, what’s your actual solution?

Calling something a ‘women’s issue’ nowadays is a dog-whistle for a progressive agenda. Not to deflect but wider society doesn’t care about our issues. No, there are issues that broadly effect either gender more, because there are differences between genders both in the way they see themselves and the way they are perceived by wider society. To say that all social issues effect genders equally is a waste of breath. I’m saying you’re missing the point. Quite literally missing the forest for the t…

I can’t wait to see how Ukraine develops after the war. Needless to say, welcome to the west. I just wish all the people criticizing Ukraine’s past would give the country time to change and grow.

So would you rather draft equally between men and women? I’d agree with that but good luck getting it passed in a more traditional eastern country. Or are you against the draft? Again, that’s pretty based. But then what’s a feasible alternative?

Breaking news: War is War. Ukraine is not a men’s rights issue. Stop embarrassing everyone. Parts of Ukraine are not effected by the war directly and parts look like the moon thanks to Russia’s full-scale invasion. People in a war zone learn to get on with life because bombs might be falling but rent is due and food still costs money. This many years into the war, it makes sense that people are getting on normally to the extent they can. That goes for men rotated off the front and women. Ukraine…

Ok but why not conscript women too? Most conscripts are given menial labor. Nobody wants to fight with them because they don’t want to be there. They often get stuck doing non-combat jobs so that professional soldiers can do the fighting. I really think you’re applying western ideas of equality to a more traditional culture. Women definitely belong on the battlefield. Some of them are able to meet standards without them being lowered, but how much strength does an FPV drone operator or cook need…
/r/MensRights10/08/24 02:10 AM

Neither do I, but it would be the same in any country. Besides, they initially conscripted older men, many of whom had served before when Russia took crimea. Only recently have they tapped the younger generation. I suppose you have a better solution?
/r/MensRights10/08/24 12:18 AM

You sound like an SJW. Ukraine has a right to exist. The people of Ukraine have continually proven they want to be a part of Europe, not a part of Russia. Give it a rest with the propaganda talking points. You have the most sus ‘culture warrior’ post history. We see through you.

I don’t see this as an issue. But granted I come from a workplace environment where wearing shorts will get you fired regardless of gender. This isn’t a mens’ rights issue. It’s not even an issue. Let people wear shorts. Or implement uniform restrictions that are more professional.

Like I said I’m new. I’d get fired for ‘disrespecting’ someone with so much seniority. I’m not enabling anything. The bosses are.
/r/MensRights28/09/20 06:35 PM
1

What’s the issue? I’ve met some at my company who are great. It’s still dangerous to work alone with women.
/r/MensRights28/09/20 06:33 PM
2

My word against someone who’s got significant seniority? Bad move. I don’t even have proof. By the way, she knew I was uncomfortable with that. She doesn’t care. My problem is not that they are women. Men don’t come out of nowhere 10 years from now and make unsubstantiated claims of sexual assault. If they did, they’d be dismissed anyway.
/r/MensRights28/09/20 06:31 PM
1

I agree with you that women aren’t my problem, but I still get anxious working with them. Only because of what has happened to so many men left alone with women. The women (and men) who are the problem all have seniority, and thus are above the law. In any dispute, the company would side with them. Talking to them about my feelings would be pointless and dismissed as ‘mansplaining’.
/r/MensRights28/09/20 06:28 PM
1

Maybe they will. But they really aren’t the problem. My problem is my toxic co-workers and not wanting to come off as needy. I trust HR will act in the best interest of the company. If they become a player, I just need to make them play for my team. Not easy but we’ll see about preventing them from getting involved. The request goes through ops not HR

Not necessarily. It doesn’t help that misogyny has such a broad definition in today’s world. I don’t think that you need to necessarily be truly misogynistic to be confident. I honestly believe that the concept of women liking a man who is an ass to them is complete bullshit. I’m sorry you must be lost. This is r/MGTOW not r/braincels. I don’t understand the angle here. MGTOW has nothing to do with Chads and Staceys. True MGTOW has nothing to do with sex. It’s about abstinence from legal marriage and promoting the freedom of men to live for themselves. Sure MGTOWs caution each other about the legal dangers of sex, but MGTOW is not about how getting laid is a rigged game. Tomorrow, most of us could be in the dating market if we felt so inclined. But why not support both? It’s not like that random chick taking your order is the problem. Most women will fall in line with society’s perspectives due to their inherent agreeableness. The people we should make efforts against are the men and women pushing for cultural degeneration and political correctness. Our issue with female relationships is as much about state power being in female hands as it is about female nature in modern culture. Even if all women decided to be completely monogamous and not try to be hypergamist, Women still have a lot more power in the state then we do. My parents divorced on relatively good terms, and even then there was the temptation to go and get child support on my moms end. We have a term for exceptions such as yourself. NAWALTs (Not All Women Are Like That). NAWALTs are treasured members of our community as they are very rare and tend to have much higher emotional maturity. They play the important role of providing the female perspective. I don’t know about that but you bring up a fair point. Extreme values are always a threat to social stability, left or right. Let’s not forget what (genuinely) fascist societies have done to men. They used our kind like cannon fodder.

The left is a religion. Most religions are based on morality, not always reason. In their morality, violence against those who disagree betters the world. At this point, they have made peaceful coexistence impossible.

It’s the condescending nature with which SJW feminazis say it. Understand that due to the dehumanization of men in feminist doctrine, we are seen as animals who do everything for the eventual goal of sex. We hold doors in the hope that women have sex with us. We shower daily in the hope that women have sex with us. We eat lunch in the hope that women have sex with us. Their entire secular religion is built on men being sex-crazed animals.

I only have respect for people who earn it. Either gender is welcome to try. The fact is that most people can’t handle simple stressful situations. This one woman I know, the second anything stressful happens she’s biting your head off and yelling to redirect her anger and fear. Granted, there have been some women in history who were badasses.

In the U.S. You are not required to tell the police anything, and I agree with this. That's why I never said to run your mouth to them. Ultimately, you can pick one of two routes: shut up, bend over, and take it is the first. What I'm saying is go to the people she will use against you (not the cops) before she gets there and tell them the whole truth of the situation. I've met so many cops who know about the men's rights movement and have our back, but I've also met foaming-at-the-mouth sexists…

No. Get allies and friends on your side and fight it from step one. This is a fight that picks you and you need to have a warrior mentality from day one. Get your family, friends, co-workers, and managers involved if possible. Be as transparent and truthful as possible. EDIT: this strategy only works if you are perceived as a man that has good moral character and does not chase women. Also, OBVIOUSLY don't tell white knights and women, as they won't believe you.

Based on my experience, he would be seen as the aggressor since he used a force multiplier (the trashcan) and therefore under at least California law, he would be charged with assault with a deadly weapon and she would probably walk because she’s a woman. One of my professors one said law is not about logic it’s about the law.

Actually, I agree with you. Men who dressed well and women who dress well are more successful than those who don’t. If we let the free market decide a lot of other things in our life, why not let the free market of fashion decide who succeeds in life? After all, most of the radical leftists don’t dress that well.

One last thing, my law professor recently told me that the best jury in a sexual assault case is comprised entirely of women. Despite what you might think, most women will think critically about your accuser’s statements, studies have shown.

So sorry to hear that. I was a police volunteer and I can say my former agency is making changes for the better in this, but most cops are used to seeing battered women. That's what they train in academy. I wish I could give you advice. The only thing I can say is reach out to friends and make good new ones. Band together and build networks with other men that have your back. If worst comes to worst you need a plan equivalent to a financial disaster recovery plan. And if you are religious, pray.…

And I’m a conservative. I’m liable to kiss a bike lock every day. I guess it’s not so bad. After all, my career is self defense. Last semester I actually almost gave up on college because I was so afraid of being assaulted or falsely accused of sexual assault. I told my parents, but they didn’t offer much comfort. I still won’t go on the elevators with a woman, but at least I don’t have daily panic attacks anymore.

@u/Sarin_G_Series Ahh, TX. The land that stole my heart. I can believe it. I should post about my pepper spray story and my conversation with the world’s most sexist campus safety officer. I saw some chick carrying pepper gel on campus, so I ASKED if I could carry some. The Campus Safety bro told me he thought a guy my size (6’5”) should not need pepper spray. Nevermind that unlike most people I have formal training. I now carry a security-sized can of A**hole repellent in my bag.

In the US, we wanted women (who are often insecure about their safety) to be more exposed to the gun culture. During the Obama years, gun guys pushed the gun culture onto women as a way that they can feel empowered. You started to see women’s only groups. These were born out of the insecurity that women had about being seen as unskilled (pitiful) at shooting. Now women are falling into two basic groups: those who feel empowered by carrying a gun and those who feel empowered by opposing the other…

There's a women's only gun club at my local range. They get free training (that would cost me hundreds), access to firearms celebrities, and a place where they are encouraged to talk about guns. If I as a male talk about guns, people think I'm violent or something.
/r/MensRights28/04/18 03:15 AM
