A Rational Guide To Living - Albert Ellis Meditations - Marcus Aurelius The Wealth of Nations - Adam Smith Mastery - Robert Greene. Start with these, and you will find many more along the way. All the best.

You write well. You would be quite surprised how many people lack this ability. By stating 'I'm not the smartest guy', you're limiting your brain and creating an irrational belief. Ask yourself, do you want to pick up a trade because 'you're not the smartest guy' or because you really want to pick up a trade? Intelligence in most fields requires the ability to analyse information, compare that information and then make a logical conclusion to ensure a sufficient return on investment. This analys…

There's one rule to this life. You want real wealth then forget about women until your thirty and focus on business.

70k usd is a shit income. If you're only making 70k at 40, you're doing something wrong. You should have properties and another offline company, netting at least 250k usd a year overall.

Blue pill response. An 18 year old can be a boss with 'managerial experience.' Get out of here. People are starting companies at sixteen these days. There's no point compartmentalising 'make a good boss', da fuck does that even mean. Get a different job or start a company.

How old are you now? and what is the income threshold to be 'the one percent' in the united states? Sounds like you've done well for yourself. What parts of RP do you follow, has marriage made a difference and do you recommend it? I'm based in the UK.

"No other choice" sounds like a strong paradigm and something that should definitely be incorporated. I already use it in the gym when I start slacking, it's just difficult in my daily life. Do you travel far for work? Here the London Underground is packed every day, it get's a bit too much. I think it's difficult because stress also invokes a lot of weird symptoms to an already weak immune system, so I have to pick a career that is less stressful but that I find boring than one with more stress…

You are strong dude. You haven't allowed life to affect you in an absolute manner, from being essentially normal. You have given me a new found perspective. You'd be surprised how many people just give up and do not do anything, and live on disability or even in worse situations. Hats of to you and keep going. TRP is with you. What do you do if you don't me asking? In terms of job title?

How do you work? Don't you feel weird in your daily life? Like if you push your body too excessively etc. How do you not allow it to affect your morale and self esteem? Sorry for the host of questions, just really interested as I suffer from some weird balance disorder and it affects me deeply both mentally and physically.

I ultimately agree with most of what you have written, specifically attracting women with shiny objects, that will ultimately decrease any capital you could use on a potential idea, investment or stock portfolio enhancement. It would be interesting to find out whether they just live in the now. Personally, I think all this SMV enhancing bullshit just holds you off from getting women. Yes you should change your thought process and obtain an aesthetic physique, but once that's done, you don't need…

The issue isn't career type wealth or minuscule spending. I have fashionable clothing, but clothes are affordable to almost anyone in society. I'm only 22, just graduated. Kinda working on my net worth at the moment. It's just one of those new thoughts when I see a high status individual in their 40's and think to myself, what if I don't make it? It's something I've dedicated my life too. People here want women, I want real wealth.

You are really missing the point dude. Some people thrive on their own. Some people don't. The point of the post was for individuals to fully illustrate the mental and physical changes once permanently out of the nest. All of those issues usually breed as a result of living at home or in your hometown where you grew up. Therefore fixing that shit before moving out is contradictory, as it might be the actual cause and moving out could be the plateau that needs to be crossed to thrive. Have you ev…

Then you would be quite surprised how many guys whom frequent this forum live with their parents or are reliant financially on their parents. A degree doesn't mean shit without health. Some people's self esteem is so low that they are trapped inside their head and can't get out mentally, or even find a job or interview without being severely anxious. I forgot you're the top dog. Have some god damn empathy.

A guy can be popular in campus at age 20, but if he becomes a debt-ridden Starbucks barista who has to live in a shitty apartment at age 22, suddenly women might consider him a below average candidate Some people are savers and investors and choose to live in a shitty apartment for cost-effective measures. Does that still make them below average? It's all perception. So I lease a decent apartment, have no savings which in turn correlates with my SMV becoming higher for a couple of years. No than…

Withdrawn. GOOD DAY SIR, GOOD DAY. But it helps reinforce the ultimate notion: "Whether it can be done". Just as Felix Dennis practices what he preaches and reinforces his business experience and results through his writing.

His biography and the analysis at the end of meditations, covering around two hundred pages. I'm not suggesting he wasn't a stoic. It just shattered my belief in absolutism. There's no such thing as ultimate consistency, just as one can't be alpha and always be on point in all matters of life.

You are right. I tend to forget all these universal principles. I hear them and read them on a consistent basis but my memory and thought process just doesn't seem to be up to par.

Human nature never changes and he has demonstrated this consistently throughout his writing, whether or not the translation is one hundred percent accurate. This is huge realisation for me. Death has always been a fear of mine, combined with fear of judgement from people, which all stems from childhood mocking. Reading his work has shattered several previous beliefs but the main problem is putting these notions into practice. It is difficult and I guess that is why he failed many times but staye…

Just stimulating debate around the subject. It seems that stoicism does not exist in absolutist terms and is rather a work of art and a matter of consistency. You are right. I can imagine the difficulty of leading a majority of uneducated individuals and the paranoia that surrounded any emperor from individuals with animalistic tendencies and of barely any rationality.

I cut someone out blocked their number, they came and knocked on my door four month later. I explained how certain negative traits were having a drastic negative effect on my morale and said I would get back to them if I changed my mind. It's been one year now.

It's all a load of bullshit. Most of these girls will get fucked up either today, tomorrow or in ten years, everyone is looking for the god damn party. Everyone wants fucking attention. Why the fuck do you want to feel like you matter? Who the fuck cares who these guys fuck? It's very difficult, I get it. You're in a bubble and you want to matter. It really doesn't mean anything man. You need to read more, you are very closed minded. IT DOESNT MATTER. When these guys or girls get released in the…

The playing field has been designed for generations to be 'uneven' by those that got there first in terms of monetary gains. The most effective thing you can do, dependent on your current health, is focus on overall life improvement, ranging from eating a certain type of diet, compatible with your body and that makes you feel grounded, and proceed with fitness, social integration and best of all constant reading and integration of your passion. All these combined make you, you. There's no such t…

It's hard when you see the despair in their eyes. I do not know man. It just gets to me, I can't describe it. Even though I have every reason to hate them fully, I always base it on their 'hard life' and how the world is outside of their control and that is the reason behind the hardship.

Agreed and thank you. I agree, I can do it now. I will make sure to set a maximum date of moving to July. Whilst I sell some things, I don't need and get searching for a better location for growth in the UK.

You are kidding right? What does the word "support" mean to you exactly? Does support also work the other way round where they have mentally fucked you in the head since you were a child. Does it mean that you take care of them with all your mental energy and become a mess for years on end because they had made you believe that this is what 'kids' do for their parents? It's pathetic. It goes deeper. I will move out, but when you've been conditioned to believe something all your life in this cont…

Your emotions have gone haywire. I presume you were or have been through vast amounts of stress recently or a couple of years prior. When your emotions go haywire, it is very easy to lose the ability to trust your instincts and that makes it difficult to distinguish between reality and fake actuality. You need time, less stress and the ability to understand your thoughts and patterns. Read. Just read everything. Read history, read Nietzsche, read Plato, read Economics, read anxiety related topic…

You simply turned the question into a rationalisation. Alpha in the sense that you get things done on your own terms, specifically being financially stable and having enough money that you do not need anyone or anything. This does not mean that you will be the greatest Alpha, just Alpha in your own life and right. You are suddenly dropped from your job due to another economic crises, you can't find another position for a long time or you fall ill? You have nobody that can help you financially. T…

You will always get some irrational responses based on the individuals current mental frame. Who the hell wants drama, it just adds more depth, I would rather follow the alternative for an easy escape. How do you know she cheated?

I can not believe that women in the first world still have these animalistic characteristics. It has a direct correlation with intelligence deficiencies and self-esteem. Any woman that does not want you to be better and improve is a crazy woman in my eyes.

It's probably because I look around and everyone but myself seem so grounded! My perception not the actual reality. People perceive me as having my shit together; because i'm a good looking guy and they associate 'attractiveness' with 'having your shit together mentally' and being completely 'stoic' which I am not. It has a negative impact on me; whenever I walk into a store; people are constantly staring towards my direction to weigh me up; whether my alpha looks match my frame. I can mimic con…

Thanks for the informative reply mate. I will take it all on board; BJJ sounds ideal; I think I will begin with strengthening myself at the GYM first two months; starting tomorrow; then proceed with martial arts.

I am inherently against medication; I can't deal with other issues that might breed as a result of consuming medication at this moment. My diet has improved from the past year; which includes salmon, steak; rice; asparagus, salad; blueberries, strawberries and blackberries, 1.5Ltr of Water consumed and two cups of coffee to wake me up and keep me motivated throughout the day. I stopped going to the gym as a result of these issues; why do you recommend deadlifts? What will they do to my issues of …

I know who I am and I know what I want; but any situation which involves having all the attention on me; makes me fiddle around; nervously; I have no frame in these situations. None; I remember when I first choked in first year of law school in my presentation; the memory just makes me wants to slap myself. Someone must have dealt with this in the work place? I appreciate all you guys taking your time to answer my question; in retrospect I should have written the question with less volume.
